We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Sanders. The public spaces are probably the best of any urban hotel I have experienced. The lobby/living room is incredibly beautiful, cozy in a very warm modern Danish way. spacious and luxurious. We enjoyed that space from morning until night. We liked that it is for hotel guests only so that we could always find a place to sit. We ate breakfast and dinner in the Kitchen, and enjoyed both, thought the service for breakfast was a bit slow. We had drinks in the bar twice and enjoyed it both times, and had wine and snacks on the roof, which was lovely, as well. Wonderful service in both places. We also enjoyed the outdoor space on the street. Our room was comfortable and our bathroom was surprisingly spacious, which we very much appreciated. We appreciated having the room made up in the morning and having turndown service. The free minibar was a nice touch, and the bed was very comfortable. Our only complaint was that the room was quite warm. We turned off the heat, but the sun shining in the lovely big windows all day meant we slept with the windows open each night.

The front desk forgot our wakeup call on our last morning. As mentioned above, breakfast service was slow.

We fell in love with the hotel the minute we arrived. The entrance, the candles on the steps, the low lighting inside and the wonderful signature scent which we couldn't wait to take him in the form of the Sanders Candle. The food was outstanding, the breakfast was sublime, the cocktails the night before....hugely impressed and had a huge feel good factor when in the hotel. Staff were superb and looked after us immensely allowing us a 13:00 check out which was so welcomed. The beds were comfy the bathroom was fabulous. Even the snacks while waiting for our taxi home were incredible, the sun dried tomato humous EVERYTHING this hotel has to offer is off top notch quality and we travel as lot so are very experienced in high class Hospitality. WIN WIN....

Going Home......

Although there was an error in the reservation (the hotel was overbooked) and we were relocated the first 2 nights, the hotel staff were professional and responsive in finding a solution. For our final night we were able to stay at Sanders and were upgraded to a beautiful suite. The location is perfect and the details of design in the hotel are intimate and warm.

We received a call from Sanders while boarding our plane that the hotel was overbooked for the weekend and we would not be able to stay with them the first 2 nights of our stay. Being 8 months pregnant and exhausted, it was not the greatest start to our holiday. The hotel which we were relocated to for the first 2 nights (which Sanders paid for), although 5 stars and great as well, was not the ambience that we were looking for on the trip.

The lobby lounge is always so cozy and lovely anytime throughout the day, nice deco & Christmas setting. The concierge was very helpful. Our bathroom was very big with big windows and daylight. Amazing breakfast, food and cocktail bar!

The bedroom is slightly smaller if you compare the size to the bathroom. Wish it could have a bathtub for the cold winter weather and it does has enough size to fit into the bathroom. Or they could have a sauna or steam room facility, Denmark is very cold in winter.

our room was very compact and access to the bed but on one side. The flush in the toilet only worked every half an hour due to bad water supply. very bad food and bad service of some of the breakfast and dinner staff they tend to forget what was ordered so meal took endless time and the cooking of the food was very amateurish.

A very pleasant, well located and comfortable hotel. Our room was very pleasant and well appointment with a lot of light. The staff were extremely helpful and breakfast on the roof terrace was a special treat.

Its on the expensive side but that is the case for so much in Copenhagen. It would have been helpful to have some coffee/tea making facility in the bedroom…but not every hotel does that.

The location of the hotel is very good. You can walk to shopping malls, restaurants and attractions. The staff is very friendly and helpful! The hotel has a sense of design, and the restaurant on the roof is very beautiful

The only thing I don’t like is that the shower in one of the room types is open, which will wet the entire bathroom floor

The Hotel & Staff were great. We ate in the Hotel Restaurant on the first night and the food was superb. However, the lighting throughout the hotel and in the bedrooms was very poor. The lights were very dim and they relied on a lot of candles, which created a nice atmosphere but not much light! Also there were never enough tables in the "Kitchen" area to seat the residents at breakfast, therefore you ended up trying to eat breakfast from a table in the Lounge area that was too low and not conjucive to dining. Also, the temperature in the showers never got above lukewarm during our 4 night stay which was a bit annoying. The pillows in the bedrooms were also way too soft. I dont feel i am being overly fussy with the above points - I just feel some minor tweeks would make this Hotel super fantastic. Still a great place to stay and i would certainly recommend it.

Location, service, staffs, peaceful environment, shower, bed, looks all perfect.

I met fire alarm around 23:30PM but there is no any fire happend, everyone had to go downstairs and wating ourside, everything was like a dream and I couldn't fall asleep again when I back to my room. Anyway, I will forgot about it, it is not anyone's fault, just a experience.

Lovely and elegant cozy space. Everything is spotless and new. Location cannot be beat - central but on a quiet side street. Friendly staff and great restaurant/bar.

Unless you book a midrange suite, the rooms are very very small. New York sizes and New York prices are odd in Copenhagen when there are other competitive (and larger-roomed) central hotels in the city. I was a solo traveler and there was barely enough free space for an open luggage rack - with two people you would constantly be knocking into things. A water kettle for quick coffee/tea in the room would also be nice!
