The hotel is in an excellent part of the El Gouna marina, a short walk from many restaurants and shops. It also has a lovely pool area and private sea access (though no beach that I could see). The buffet breakfast that was included in the rate was also pretty good.

I booked room with one large bed, but was shown into one with 2 single beds instead. When I insisted on the room type I booked I was instead taken to a room with a double bed, but a dull view of the inside of the hotel (rather than the marina view of the other room). Overall the rooms also looked a little dated, with the aircon not working properly. Also, loud music is played at one of the hotel bars until well after midnight.

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times and it has got better each time, the quality of food has definitely improved. Nice little touches with a couple of occasions there are someone playing a violin for breakfast and someone playing the saxophone for afternoon brunch. It is a quiet hotel as there are no kids so for me its perfect. There is entertainment in the eve but never experienced as I was going to Sandbox music festival, which consequently happens every year. You could not hear the festival at night, it depends on the direction of the wind as the year previous you could. Staff are super helpful and also willing to bring to your room if you need extra towels etc.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff work extremely hard around the clock. Meals were excellent with lots of choice - various foods are cooked in front of you so you know it’s freshly cooked. Pool and Beach area very well kept. Complimentary towels and again the staff work very hard to ensure you stay hydrated and get the best sun beds! We were given a late check out without charge which was a very nice touch. El Gouna itself is beautiful and safe to go out at night. Lots of rest and bars if you can drag yourself away from the all inclusive. The hotel can help you with lagoon tours, scuba diving etc.

Nothing - everything was fantastic

the location is great and there are plenty of restaurants and places to drink around the marina. the pool area is good but it does get busy. the food is okay and usually plenty to choose from. the staff are always pleasant and will do anything for you. 7th visit and wasn't disappointed just booked our 8th for next year

there isn't a lot that isn't good about the place this was our 7th time and just booked again for next year. the food could be better but that is down to peoples preference.

Outstanding, caring and exceptional service and treatment. The whole team at the hotel is exerting every effort to ensure one can have the most comfortable, joyful and happy stay. His care, made my mum having one of the most pleasant and comfortable stay she have had in the recent years. At the restaurant, I would also like to thank Ahmed Halousa and Mitre Mahmoud. In fact, I would like to thank the whole team at Oceana restaurant for the outstanding service. Finally, I would like to thank the manager Mr Hagag, For his exceptional care to my friend and taking him with his own car to the hospital when my freind had an incident. Nothing I didn't like and I will definitely go back again.

Location is great, unlike other hotels, it has access to cooler sea water rather than the lagoon, although you can't really swim freely there as it is a marina and boats are passing by. I can't say whether the water was clean (ref boats), but there was certainly nothing floating in it.

The room was rather aged, bathroom door didn't close properly (had to really lift and pull it), shower cabin leaked extensively, and the bathroom floor was not clean. We asked the cleaner to give it some extra attention and he reported later that it is very clean, rather produd of his work. But the floor still stained our feet and any white towels - so perhaps it's the floor finish that is the problem, not dirt per se. We didn't take out the all inclusive option, and were happy for it. It was a great value for money, but breakfast food was underwhelming, so if I can judge the dinner by same standards, I think we made the right choice to eat out.

The open buffet breakfast offered a big variety of food , was delicious. The spacious room was a great plus and it was overlooking the marine with a nice view. All the staff are well trained , organized and very friendly and helpful which we liked very much Also the offer of a small shopping arcade at the hotel is a plus and we had the opportunity to shop souvenirs. The staff is very friendly and nice, they’re also so helpful and welcoming! from reception to housekeeping to waiters to chefs to beach boy! The location of the hotel is very good, and the room is so chic and modern, and it feels so cozy. The food was delicious too, and they have Nespresso machine which is perfect for me! When I arrived they complimented me with upgrading my room to sea view which was super nice and invited me to lunch as their treat, was a very good way to welcome me! The hotel has various facilities and the music playing all day is great. I hope I can come here again soon, at least to see the staff’s friendly faces again

The hotel has beach and pool on site. The beach is a hop in, deep not for people who can't swim, however for Gouna this was perfect. They also have Zeitouna access but the trip to there isn't nice. The room is spacious and the terrace is a big plus. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good with variety. The adults only part is also compelling. Just be aware of the difference between the marina view and the complete/premium sea and pool view.

The reception staff. I wanted to prolong my visit and I understand that it wasn't possible due to hotel being fully booked, but the manners weren't welcoming or nice in communicating the info. The reaction I got was as if I am begging for a room which I won't pay for. This is sth they need to seriously work on. The payment process upon arrival was also not entirely smooth. The employee assigned to me was about to cause me extra charges because he didn't know that he can book the room in the card's currency instead of Egyptian pound. If it weren't for his colleague who was accidentally there, I could have paid 30 euros more for nothing.

The staff is exceptional, delightful, helpful, and professional! Ahmed Hashad at the reception is a very delightful young man, so kind and considerate to my elderly mom . From the lowest to the highest ranking employee in this hotel there was not one single negative behavior i could mention. I left feeling that this is the hotel I should tell all my friends about. It is very laid back, relaxing , and beautiful.

There is no real beach , even though there is a ten minutes boat ride to a near by beach/ island.
