This is a new facility so it is well-presented and clean. Rooms were well-sized and appointed and great to have a kitchen area. It is a different location because there is not too much in the immediate vicinity (one chain restaurant and a coffee shop I think) and there is a quiet university vibe. However we found the place to be incredibly well located to all of LA's awesome attractions with a car and very very safe and good value for money. It is close to motorway access so very easy to get around LA - we got to Santa Monica in 25 minutes on a Sunday, 10 minutes from Dodger Stadium, 20 minutes from Universal Studious, 20 minutes to Hollywood, 10-15 minutes to Downtown. Value for money was really good, a great hotel that provides easy access to everything in LA. The sacrifice is that there are not too many shops etc in walking distance but the reality is that you need a car to get around LA anyway. And it felt very very safe, I'm glad I didn't stay in some of the downtown locations I had also been looking at because I saw some of these on my travels and while the buildings looked fine - what they don't show is the surrounding neighbourhoods - unfortunately there are too many spots in LA with homeless issues.

Children running in the hallways- late night/early mornings. No Peloton Bike in Gym… Bar opened much too late. No mimosa’s nor bloody mary’s available at breakfast. Breakfast- not so good- Boring bar menu … the sandwiches are just sad-

Housekeeping service is below par They refused to clean the used cups and glasses. We were drinking out of the same cups and glasses for 6 days.They didn't also replenish the tea and coffee kits in the room.

Too much noise due to train rail

staff are so kind and caring, we enjoy how close it is to USC but not how close it is to the train that blows its horn and stops at the nearest crossing. There are rooms away from the front where the noise is muffled or non existent when you are a heavy sleeper. other than this one unchangeable element this hotel is exceptional! we stay here every trip for medical appointments at USC.

The location was perfect because of my medical treatments at USC Keck Hospital which was within walking distance. The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel was very clean.

The rolling carts were difficult to maneuver. The cost on booking.com was different from when I checked out. Taxes and parking were not included in the booking.com charge. It was kind of deceiving because I was assuming to pay a certain amount but when I was charged the amount was more.

A nice new hotel. Very comfortable and clean with good amenities.

Paying for parking is an additional $30. I think including that in the price would be more appropriate. The hotel is going through the usual start up pains. They did not offer any plates for breakfast. That is crazy since they allow you to eat bagels with cream cheese and french toast with syrup in the lobby. When I complained, they did bring me a plate.

The staff could not have been nicer - front desk, valet, kitchen and bar. Shout out to the bar tender and dinner person who was fantastic!!

The hotel is adjacent to a major train track with very frequent trains day and night! some trains can be miles long and all sound their horns several times during the night, waking me up each time! if you leave the hotel by car or by walking in the direction of the tracks, you can be significantly delayed. The hotel supplies the rooms with noise machines (like white noise) to drown out the train noise.

We absolutely loved the size of the room and everything included with it. We will definitely return. Breakfast was better than most places we've stayed at with a wonderful variety of choices.

The AC/fan is pretty loud. The pillows are not the most comfortable. Made our necks stiff. Even though we read about several complaints of the train noise, I only heard it once and was in the morning after 6. The parking price is very pricey per night.

Room was big, clean and comfortable. Staff good, other than the valet team disappeared on occasions meaning they had to be located and we had to wait. Location is good for down town LA, we were about 20 minutes drive in traffic from the convention center. Yes, there is a train line that blocks the immediate access to the hotel but there are at least two other routes that get you there easily.

We had a accessible room, which was very nice but just about the furthest point from the elevators, so a long walk for my wide who need the help!
