Excellent location in quiet part of Buckhead.

Parking is by valet only. Cost is an additional $45 per day, and is not included in the booking.com rate. Wish I had been notified of this. Not really the hotel's fault. When I chose free parking as one of the filters on Booking.com website, this hotel was one of the facilities that was populated on the list of choices. The hotel offers a package that includes parking if you reserve directly with the hotel. The hotel also places a $300 charge on your credit card for "incidentals" upon checking in which is supposed to be refunded at some point.

The location is excellent. Our room was cleaned very thoroughly after 5 days. The hotel staff and personnel of the restaurant were really very friendly and helpful.

Most of the valet, NOT all, were not friendly at all and even “took by mistake” an Apple charging cable from my car. After that we didn’t trust leaving stuff inside the car. There are a couple of guys that were nice and friendly. I wish I could self park to avoid an incident like this and to lower the valet bill if possible.

We were temporarily displaced from our luxury condo. The Kimpton Sylvan was one of three hotels within walking distance from our condo. The convenient location was a bonus for us given we would be going back and forth to our condo daily until we could return. I had a nice view down onto the Willow Bar area which is absolutely charming with its igloos and fire pit seating area. The Betty is elegant and sophisticated. We especially liked The Betty bar. The decor of the hotel is contemporary and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Clean rooms and common areas.

I chose to walk back and forth daily because the option for self-parking was not available, and I was not going to pay the $45/day fee to park, plus need cash on hand for tipping each and every time I came and went from the hotel to my condo, approximately 3 times per day. No coffee machines inside of the rooms, but at least I could go to the lobby for coffee in the mornings. There was no top sheet provided, so it got very warm when the only option was to use the sheeted duvet or nothing.

This was a very special trip for my family so we decided we wanted stay at a very nice hotel. The Kimpton delivered. We had drinks on the terrace and they have another bar downstairs as well as a restaurant. The valet attendants were very courteous and fast. The hotel is within walking distance of different places to eat and shop and we took advantage. Very wonderful weekend stay and we will be coming back.

Spacious rooms with adjustable large screen television. Roomy shower with good lighting to apply my makeup. Nice comforter and crisp sheets.

I chose the hotel for the rooftop dining which we didn't take advantage of however it seemed like it fun for those who did. I didn't realize that there was a live DJ until midnight on the rooftop as well so it was challenging to go to bed before that time otherwise the hotel was fantastic.

The location was clean, beautifully designed and the staff was all very friendly. My only complaint was that the room was a bit smaller than I anticipated. I would've loved double beds, as I was traveling with my teenage daughter. Wish he had more time to explore your beautiful outdoor space and pool.

We would've also loved to have breakfast options on the premises. At night there was a bit of noise likely from a club that is either nearby or adjacent to the hotel. Atlanta is a City after all. Also there were no water bottles in the gym. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would return.

I requested a quiet room on a high floor because we were celebrating my wife's birthday. Not only did the hotel accommodate my request, but they contacted me to wish her a happy birthday, and also surprised us with champagne, strawberries, and chocolates waiting for us in the room! We were thrilled at the gesture. And the bartender even gave her a complimentary cocktail.

The room was great, modern, clean and well laid out. The shower amazing. The staff professional, extra friendly and helpful. The restaurant at the hotel was excellent and the amenities such the evening wine hour were unexpectedly good.

Nothing really except the weather which was not under control of the hotel. Otherwise everything exceeded our expectations.

I stay here for work quite a bit and the staff is always so nice and accommodating. They let me do early check in and also had an option for me to upgrade my room at check in. Always the friendliest and nicest when you walk in the door. My Dogs love this hotel too.

I was extremely pleased with this hotel. The Hotel and our room were very clean and elegant. The staff is the icing on the cake here! From the valet to the housekeeper, they exceeded my expectations. Smiley at the front desk was the most pleasurable friendly person you could ask for. She was eager to please and assists with all my needs. Rico at the valet stand was very upbeat and quick to offer suggestions from additional parking to recommending area restaurants and activities. They both were amazing! Thank you! I would definitely stay here again!

Everything was perfect! I have not one thing I didn't like. Again, amazing staff, grounds and cleanliness!
