Amazing property and the entire staff was top notch. Didn’t encounter one staff member who wasn’t eager to make your stay better. Rooms were decent size but very nice. Bathrooms were fantastic. The housekeeping and engineers were Johnny on the spot to make everything perfect. The grounds, staff and service were absolutely top notch.

Minor things…. Pricing for meals is way over what it should be with an added 15% built in. Breakfast for 3 was 165 bucks before tip. We found ourselves eating elsewhere. Definitely need a hot tub for the pool area. Spa prices were also extremely elevated. Need a shuttle to the airport. One way booked through them cost us 235.

Literally everything. 99% of the employees are super friendly and helpful. The view is great, and the lobby didn’t have any other tourist attractions (ABC stores, travel agencies, etc) that would attract outside tourists in the resort. In this case, mostly only whoever stays in the hotel would be found in the hotel, less crowded. With former experiences stayed somewhere else and got charged overpriced room water, we didn’t know all the bottle water/tea in the room are complimentary. That’s a great plus and hopefully everyone comes later will enjoy them better. Highly recommend anyone came here for honeymoon, we read about it from Google review and we are happy we stayed here for our whole time in Honolulu. The views, restaurants, and room service are great. We love the coconut cake and virgin piña colada. We heard about the Orchid Sunday brunch buffet on our way to the hotel form our Uber driver, and don’t forget make a reservation if you’d like to be there. Some other guests made some noise. Mostly are understandable/bearable, some are too much to understand.

This is hands down the nicest hotel in Waikiki/Honolulu - others simply do not compare for the luxury experience. The size of even the smallest rooms is ample, with a luxury bathroom and super comfortable beds, sitting area, and balcony. The drinks at the pool bar and the breakfasts and views, as well as the public spaces, and the beautiful pool itself, are all unbeatable. This is a great place to escape screaming children and crowds and have a civilized, elegant Hawaiian vacation without traveling to an outer island.

Sound insulation in the room was actually rather poor, which became a problem about two nights into our stay when a noisy guest moved in next door. There was also some strange noise coming from upstairs. Orchids restaurant is not as good for dinner as it used to be - the 'Italian-Hawaiian' theme is not a great one.

We loved staying at this hotel and we highly recommend staying here for a vacation in Honolulu-Waikiki area! We did mention during the reservation that we are celebrating a big birthday, and we were pleasantly surprised to find in our room a complimentary bottle of champagne and a selection of fresh fruit. The room was beautiful, very spacious and comfortable, with a lovely view over the ocean (Ocean Front), which was perfect for enjoying the sunrise and sunset. During our stay, we were out exploring the island but after our arrival back to the hotel, while we were relaxing at our lanai (balcony), we managed to catch a glimpse of the evening show featuring a former Miss Hawaii. The hotel location is perfect - it is literally on the beach (tiny one by the hotel but a pleasant walk to the main beach) and within a short walking distance from the shopping area, yet the hotel is quiet. The breakfast buffet was generous, with lots of delicacies and amazing fresh fruit, we enjoyed sitting outside under the palm trees. The staff goes above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable. Thank you for making our short stay so memorable!

The Halekulani just reopened the previous week after their extensive remodel during COVID. And, as with any reopening, they were still working out a few kinks. But, considering the added pressure and complications from the pandemic, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay simply wonderful.

A few amenities weren’t available, but it certainly wasn’t the Halekulani’s fault!

The Halekulani Hotel and Spa was exceptional and exceeded all our expectations. Everything was great and our ocean view room with all its facilities was amazing. My granddaughter and I loved it there and made use of the swimming pool and beach. Because we left early we were given a packed breakfast at 04:00 am as part of the package. I would recommend this hotel highly without any hesitation.

We disliked nothing! The room, the views, the meals, service and entertainment in the evenings were great. All the staff were friendly and helpful and treated us with respect. This hotel was top notch in all respects.

Its so clean and have a good vibes. We likes the special touches they leave daily at the room. Loved the cookies and ice cream they were offering at tge pool.

No music at the pool. Its so boring Limited time for all the lounges and bars. Maximum to 9 or 11 pm. The price is highly expensive. The problem that we have solved at 4 am last night it was disaster. To our room and two other rooms. But thanks God the agent who compensated for us

- Location is super. The pool, the beach, the shops and in-house restaurants of excellent quality, all on your doorstep. - The rooms are super clean, quiet and comfortable. The ‘Toto’ excellent. - Very accommodating for early and late check-out, there’s a hospitality suite with a shower available to use after you vacate your rooms. - Orchid restaurant wow! it deserves its superb >9 rating. Loved it all. One tip for the hotel might be to have self-service available by the pool. There’s two staff and it’s not always convenient to wait until they are available. Also a dedicated person to take empties away. Very minor point. The complimentary ice-cream and cookie were a cute touch.

Beautiful hotel, great location and extremely friendly staff

The deposit taken upon check in was a bit ridiculous. Usually in most places, a credit card is taken and then if you break something, only then would it be charged. But we were actually charged over $1000 upon check in which was then released upon check out. It just meant that we had no spending money for the rest of the week as we hadn’t accounted for that money actually being taken off our card. Luckily we had a credit card but it was still a real inconvenience.

Loved the pool and our room. Was a bit disappointed in the Sunday Brunch. A fresh fruit selection (larger than what was there) and pancakes and French toast would have been nice. Prices are exorbitant but unfortunately that seems to be everywhere in Hawaii unfortunately
