The hotel is very close to the airport, with a direct shuttle every 20 minutes, which is extremely convenient if you have an early flight. The reception is open 24 hours, and the staff is very friendly. We had an issue with the electricity, and it was resolved in a reasonable time. Children eat for free as long as the adults are dining. A 10-minute walk brings you to a shopping center full of activities and restaurants.

We booked a last-minute room due to a flight cancellation for two adults and two children. We knew the kids would have sofa beds, but we were surprised to find two individual sofa beds, which reduced the space in the room significantly. That said, the sofa beds were well-prepared for sleeping. There is a lot of space dedicated to a wardrobe area with the minibar and a small vanity room, which felt unnecessary given the limited room space.

Great location - only 10 min from Airport by free shuttle. Booked as had early flight next morning and made more sense than staying in city centre. Rooms a decent size and facilities good throughout. Like the idea of having a snack/sandwich bar available at the side of reception as I didnt have time for breakfast

Nothing really - 2 sets of 2x lifts to the upper floors are about 20m apart and could be better marked to show which upper floor rooms are served by them. I used the nearer set then found I had to cross a bridge to reach "my side" of the upper floor. Small niggle but if loaded with cases would be an inconvenience (I was carrying only hand luggage so not much issue)

Close to the airport and very convenient as we were able to sleep a little longer before catching the shuttle for our early morning flight. We liked having a free shuttle to and from the airport, always punctual. There is a train at the airport to downtown Helsinki we were able to do some siteseeing for a couple of hours. We stayed for one night so we didn't use any of the other hotel facilities offered.

The room was surprisingly outdated for a Holiday Inn. I remembered seeing a refrigetator as one of the facilities in the room but instead there was an empty cupboard where a refridgerator ought to have been.

the hotel is quite close to the airport (Vantaa). Also there's a free sauna on the 2nd floor, it was a nice surprise for me. After an 8 hours trip it was great to get sauna I'd say! The property itself is quite good as well.

The hotel description page says there's a free transfer from the airport to the hotel, and I asked the hotel personal about the pick up location (when I was booking a room), but I got no response from them. Then, a few days before the trip, I wrote to them once again (via booking app), but there was no answer, so I did a walk with my luggage from the airport to the hotel, it took me about 45 minutes. That isn't the thing you want to get after an 8 hours trip. The reception personal wasn't friendly as well :( I talked to them twice (check-in and check-out), neither of the experience was good or warm. It was pity :(

Great location - 10-minute shuttle ride to the airport and a short walk to Flamingo aquapark & spa. They have kettles in rooms - not all hotels in Finland have those. The ventilation was very quiet, the windows were soundproof, the bed and pillows were comfortable. Very good breakfast!

Just the website - it is difficult to find information about their shuttle service (it is on one of 70 hotel photos). Would be nice if the hotel put that info in their description - that shuttle leaves every 30 minutes (15 and 45 minutes past each hour) from platform 42.

A la carte dinner was tasty but expensive. Room was clean, spacious and perfect for our needs. Bed was comfortable. Corridors and outside area generally are quiet. Spotted a trampoline outside for kids.

‘Body/shower’ cream was empty in the shower. Confused why there is both that and ‘soap’ - whats the difference? 3 people staying but only 2 mugs provided. Kids meals very basic. ‘Mud cake’ was completely dry and overpriced.

Executive room is very good for a family with kids, beds are reasonable and space is sufficient. I really appreciated the quality of linen and pillows, it was a good night sleep. Breakfast was very good, there is a tiny play area in the restaurant where kids enjoyed themselves for a while. Service lady at breakfast was beyond nice - she was the sweetest person! And overall atmosphere is relaxing and quiet. I will definitely return. Comparing between IHG and Scandic in Vantaa, i will prefer IHG for sure.

One thing i noticed, and so did my friend who stayed here last year, is narrow blankets - it did not disturb me too much although felt a bit strange, but may become a problem for someone with more sensitive sleep who prefers to roll into the blanket a bit.

I really liked the breakfast. Self-service laundry room turned our to be really useful, though to be honest there is a room for improvement, like two washing machines and two dryers. It was really nice to have a playroom for kids. Airport shuttle was on-time and very convenient

Those carpets in the hallways could be refurbished already, Lights in a room are quite confusing, there could be more lights, the room can be quite dark.

I really like the ratio between the price and the value you get, the breakfast was very good, plenty of choices, fast internet, staff was nice and helpful. Even though they weren't able to put the company data on the invoice at the desk, they promised to add it and to send via email, which I have received 10 minutes after my departure. I really appreciate that they are keeping promises. The location is very close to airport and the airport shuttle bus was standing in front of the hotel driving there and back each defined time interval.

Yeah, what I can say, the price for a bottle of wine was around 45 - 60 Euros in the hotel restaurant, so even for Finland that surprised me. But other than this I do not have.

The room was nice, clean and quiet. I appreciated kettle and several tea bags, sugar and coffee. Clean bathroom. I can recommend this hotel, I had a nice stay.

There was some small misuderstanding about number of the room, because staff didn't write it and say it clearly. What was not very comfortable - it was difficult to find a shuttlebus at the airport. I had to take a taxi. I think that visitors would appreciate more information about shuttlebus on the web of the hotel - where exactly people can find the bus stop at the airport, for example small map.
