It had everything you needed. It has a nice a gym, open bar 24/7 including hot snacks, they had a diverse amount of drinks and snacks. The lobby was a great area to chill. Breakfasts was delicious just a bit crowded. Staff was overall friendly.

The pillows were uncomfortable, and some of the staff people weren’t friendly. Housecleaning didn’t take back the used wine glasses or dishes. The hotel is a little far from central London. We had to take the DLR, Jubilee and Picadilly line to make it to central London. But it was doable.

We stayed here before flying from London City Airport. We literally checked in, slept and checked out as we had an early 7.30am flight. We have stayed in this chain before at Edinburgh Airport - so knew what we were getting and it delivered - a perfectly decent, quiet hotel with a good sized bathroom in a very convenient location for the airport. I did think the included breakfast would start a bit earlier than 6am (my fault for not reading up on things - but the Edinburgh one started at 4am!) so I was a bit disappointed we might miss it - but we decided to stay for breakfast and then take a taxi instead of the 20 minute walk to the airport.

Location and great value for money breakfast was fab option to leave luggage prior to and after check in/out was real positive. Staff were attentive, hotel was spotless and breakfast was great choice.

All had been great until we witnessed the manager having a total blowout at the receptionists who had helped a resident of the apartments next door heat a bottle of milk due to an electrical outage. The outburst was embarrassing and unacceptable I would have left total positive feedback had it not been for this totally unprofessional outburst really does not endorse taking care of patrons.

We stayed 3 nights with family in London and had 3 rooms. The staff was willing and helpful, they even gave us 2 rooms for an earlier check in, as we arrived on an early morning flight. which I greatly appreciate. the hotel is clean and well maintained, the rooms are quiet and the beds are comfortable, I slept well, there was no noise at night and the hotel guests are travelers who go to bed early after a busy day and do not make noise around the hotel. The breakfast includes a decent base and everyone can find something. The hotel is very close to the DLR station and you can reach Tower Hill in 20 minutes. Absolute satisfaction for me and I would love to come back.

The hotel receptionist (Lina) was very helpful and friendly, She ensured we had rooms close together. Although a room apart it was still fine as we were on the same floor. One room was a corner room and one two rooms up. Another lovely lady called Jody was so friendly too and helped with ensuring our car was registered and helpful with that. Reception staff also bought up extra pillows for us which meant my son had more than one. We couldn't fault the staff who were all so friendly. Even the lovely lady in the morning for breakfast was so nice to our son and warmed up some milk for his cereal. Such a tasty breakfast and so much to choose from. Everything was hot too!

There wasn't anything we didn't like. Maybe to make it even better a few extra tea bags and more milk but that was an issue as soon as we asked within 5 mins we were brought more to the room. No faults to mention.

the staff were abive and beyond friendly and professional any time we had to interact with them. the room and all facilities were clean and well maintained, during breakfast there were multiple staff members cleaning tables, refilling items and helping it run like clockwork. check in and check out was easy, quick and hassle free.

the bed was the most uncomfortable thing we've ever laid on, to the point where my friend slept on the chair in the room instead, it's like trying to sleep on the ironing board, so hard and uncomfortable. the room was also warm, despite our visit being in late october and we couldn't work the heating to turn it down. PG Tips in a marriott also surprised us, we wpuld have expected a nicer brand of tea. We also thought the venue would be walking distance to the excel centre but it took 15-20 minutes to walk through busy carparks, across roads and through areas with no smooth foot path so difficult if you have mobility issues or lots of luggage

When I had seen some reviews after I had booked, it made me a little nervous, however, I was so happy we went ahead to stay. Admittedly there was one member of staff who didn't seem to want to talk to us and scowled when we said good morning, yet one out of all the friendly, helpful staff there is just a drop in the ocean, the rest of the staff both on reception and in the kitchen were friendly and more than happy to help, they ordered a taxi for me and supplied extra tea and coffee, and answered our questions happily. The carpark was enclosed, and the disabled spaces are just around the corner from the main door which is excellent. There is a wide selection from cereal, yogurt, full english, toast, fruit and pastries. Everywhere is clean and tidy, the room we had was lovely and we saw beautiful sunsets on both sides as we were in a corner room. The station is not far and even though I am disabled, I did not find it too far to go.

If i were being picky, i think i would have liked more towels in the room.

Brilliant staff who went above and beyond especially the team who were managing the breakfast area and the staff at reception who gave clear answers and was quite helpful. Rooms were generally clean and our 8 year old enjoyed the space.

Dishes served on the breakfast menu should have labels eventhought its the common english breakfast where folks from outside the country would struggle to understand what the contents are. Parking can get really busy and you might not necessarily get a space behind the hotel which is dedicated for Hamptons and you might have to look for spaces behind the adjacent hotel. Unfortunately they are managed by different companies eventhough they feel like the same car park and reception could be more proactive to ask the customer to understand if they have parked at the correct location. If not they could email the other team to not to send a parking ticket.

The decor was brand-new. The beds were very comfortable and it was a great temperature with no noise

I would’ve appreciated few labels to mark the vegan food. I had emailed earlier and not received a reply. At checkin I was told to speak to the staff during breakfast but they were all very busy as it was school holidays. Some labels would’ve been helpful. There wasn’t a great selection of vegan food. I’m comparing the breakfast to Travelodge which is better, granted it’s not included in the room rate. But for the price of the rooms it would’ve been good to have some oat milk and vegan yoghurt included.

Nice stay clean and tidy good facilities didn't require a lot from staff but where required were professional and pleasant. Dining area was very busy !! , but kept very clean and tidy by staff , who were well organised and kept it all very pleasant and nice probably the strongest experience whilst there .. Food was also very good for a London hotel of this budget .. Bacon was some of the best I had .

If you arrive at the wrong time and busy it did feel like we were being crammed in small table in corner had to keep your elbows in .. Suppose if it’s not busy there is room but doesn’t seem big enough for when full. Bit more assistance for transport going into london reception were a bit ambivlent when I asked for best way to get to city centre? tube or taxi … appreciate its our issue but when your from up North . You do have to ask stupid questions ???
