Room was Small with no privacy in the bathroom when staying with a colleague. That's a big negative of Ibis. Good thing is they had room service every day. Location is excellent. If you are visiting excel this is the best location. Close to Metro Stations and grocery stores. Breakfast for Vegetarians is not great. Best to visit excel for breakfast, there are more options at Cheaper price. Staff at the restaurant is friendly. If you like the coffee there, they even allow you to come in the morning have a coffee n go, later come back for the breakfast. It's the best thing for someone like me, who likes to go for a morning walk. It was a surprise and delight.

Room - Even if you move in the bathroom, person sitting in the room knows it. It's an irritation and embarrassment for both. Best to book two separate rooms if your pocket allows it.

The location of the Hotel is perfect! It is not only situated in very beautiful and quiet area, but it is also within a 5-minute walk from the Custom House (for ExCel) tube station of the Elizabeth Line and the DLR. It is very fast and easy to reach the center of London from there. The staff of the Hotel was very nice, friendly and supportive. The room was spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable and everything needed for a pleasant stay was present. We are very satisfied with the services provided and would definitely choose to stay at the hotel again during our next visit in London. We recommend this Hotel.

The gentleman who checked me in was friendly and welcoming. I found all the staff I interacted with were friendly, to be honest. Room was okay, had the basic things you would need. The shower was gloriously powerful and hot (be sure to put a towel down or ask for a bath mat).

The room I was in was a little tired. Could do with a fresh paint, maybe a new carpet, dust door hinges and repairing fixtures that had come out of place. But these things weren't glaringly obvious, just minor stuff and didn't detract from my overall stay. No room service (if you like that sorta thing) I like a lot of light, so found the room a little dark in the evening but that's just me.

Clean, comfortable & quiet. The Excel area is lovely & chilled. Couldn’t fault the hotel itself.

It says on the hotel’s information that it is 0.8 miles from the O2, so we assumed we could walk there & back quite quickly but soon found this wasn’t possible unless we wanted to walk for over an hour. The cable car is convenient to get there but this closes at 10pm so couldn’t get back this way & ended up getting an Uber which took 15 minutes. Had we known it is not actually as close as stated (unless you want to swim over the river) then we would’ve chosen another hotel closer to the O2.

Lovely stylish hotel, the guy at reception was super friendly and had recommendations for nearby places to eat - even offered to call and get me a free drink! Think I must have had an unexpected upgrade to a premium room which was lovely - coffee machine, cookies, dressing gown and a handwritten welcome note which were lovely surprises! Perfect location for the excel as well. Really enjoyed staying.

The bed was unfortunately pretty uncomfortable for me - a bit like sleeping on a brick wall! Luckily I was only staying for one night. Although I liked it, some might find the bathroom a bit too much like those in caravans - small and plasticky. You get what you pay for though and I liked it, very clean... only downside was that the floor of the shower was dangerously slippery!

perfect location close to ExCel. economical, but still comfortable and clean

aircon only allowed heating, but not cooling or ventilation, so the room got pretty stuffy, only the small bathroom vent did help somewhat. the dirty dishes at breakfast was left at the tables, rarely collected. made difficult to find seating to eat. if they want guests to return their dirty plates to the tray collector they should clearly signpost, as it is not normal expectation. the standard is that waiters clean off the tables continuously as people eat and leave. i suspect this is the result of not enough staff.

Fairly close to tube, 10 minutes away. Comfy clean room.

Our 2nd time staying here, 1st time was better. The bathroom sink had a bad smell. The TV remote in my daughters room didn't work, waiting in reception for 10 minutes to get that sorted. And I thought this was a one off, last time we stayed the room attendants knocked 3 times to see if we were leaving yet. This time they came knocking again, and even came in, and entered my daughters room too. Not even near time for checking out. Other hotels in the area, will consider a different one next time.

location was perfect for an event at the excel centre. super easy to get to with the trains, easy to walk to even with the chaos of big conventions happening. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and met every question I had with cheerful answers.

One of my towels had a previous guest's hair caught in it - really gross to uncover. Thankfully there was an extra one in the room but still wasn't very nice to find. Also, on my check-out day I had a cleaner come and knock to see when I was leaving my room - my checkout wasn't until 12, and he knocked around 10am. I felt very rushed to get out of the room when I just wanted to take my time and relax. Obviously I understand that he had a job to do, but I still felt unsettled by it.

Room was clean and tidy and we were greeted by a great staff member Theodore, who was welcoming and funny. The hotel was comfortable and really handy for the Excel. All the team were helpful and polite.

The only downside was that there were a lot of renovations happening on our floor so the corridors were littered with painting and decorating supplies and the smell of paint. The contractors were not noisy however and the smell was not apparent in the room. Breakfast was ok although we left it quite late and there was little remaining on the buffet, I am sure if we had asked they would have brought out more.

Everything was great, really easy to check in & out, no bothers at all and a nice little bar area. Location is great next to the water with a few local supermarkets, not many bars close by though (from what we saw anyway). Viiew of the water from the room was lovely with a little food market just down the street. Always stay at Ibis hotels when I can they are always mint.

o2 was a pain to get to 2 nights in a row even being so close, an hour & 40 min walk despite being about 2 miles away. Taxi place across the road costs loads so try to get ubers
