Attention to detail is everything when it comes to top-tier hospitality, and Hôtel Singulier excels in that department. Our room was incredibly spacious, beautifully decorated, with thoughtful touches from the handwritten welcome card to the picture frame-style TV to the tucked away mini-bar and coffee station. Pierre, the hotel manager, was very welcoming and helpful from start to finish and the hotel’s owners are available 24/7 even if the reception desk is closed. Don’t miss the view from the roof terrace - a great place for a drink and a moment to take in the beauty of Bordeaux.

For anyone who is averse to stairs, the only “drawback” is the lack of an elevator (but since it’s a historic building, they simply aren’t allowed to add one). If stairs aren’t a problem, then you really won’t find anything to dislike about this property.

Location - perfect! Room - lovely! Everything wanted - lovely bath, all amenities, although the cupboards were a little impractical for access and hanging clothes ( too small.) Staff absolutely wonderful! So helpful and friendly and went out of their way to assist and advise. Particularly Audrey and Auriane ( hope I spelt that right!) We were booked for Xmas Eve and Xmas Day and they both saved the days by arranging restaurants and transport when most places were closed. So, staff - perfect! And the chef did a lovely breakfast. Transport the hotel arranged from and to the airport -great! Cannot thank Audrey and her Team enough.

The hotel staff went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay in every way. From the initial communication, to the friendly welcome when we arrived. They also arranged a light dinner/ supper with wine on the roof terrace as it was a special occasion for us. The hotel is a small boutique hotel and so it was nice to feel like we were contributing directly to the local economy. We found the Bordeaux people very friendly and proud and pleased we wanted ti visit their city. There are lots of nice shops, good restaurants and coffee shops nearby… you will be spoilt for choice! The cathedral is near by and viewable from the roof terrace.

I thought the description provided by the hotel was very modest. This is a lovely location and hotel. If you cannot climb stairs easily I recommend you request a room on the lower floors.

The service at Hotel Singulier was outstanding. Audrey, in particular, was incredibly nice and helpful. She provided us with excellent restaurant recommendations and made sure we felt very welcome. Her warm and friendly demeanor truly enhanced our experience. Even though our stay was brief, we appreciated the hotel’s amenities. The breakfast offered a variety of fresh, local products and was a perfect start to our day. The location couldn’t have been better. We were within walking distance of Bordeaux’s major landmarks, shopping areas, and fantastic restaurants. It made exploring the city incredibly convenient. Our one-night stay at Hotel Singulier was perfect. The beautiful design, excellent service, and prime location made it a memorable experience. Absolutely nothing, I loved my stay here!

We loved our stay at Hotel Singulier Bordeaux. From the moment we arrived, every detail was perfect. The room was immaculate, the decor was absolutely beautiful and the staff were beyond helpful. We were greeted with coffee and recommendations on the best things to do in the city which was much appreciated and made our entire trip. After a busy day the beautiful large bath and comfy bed were a god sent. We had the hotel’s breakfast the next morning which was all home made and delicious. We cannot recommend this hotel more, definitely will be back!

the property had a really great location and the hotel was exceptional. Room size was great and the open bathtub was really enjoyable. We will definitely be staying here again in our next trip to Bordeaux. Staff was very friendly and helpful as well!

The location is fantastic for visiting the old part of Bordeaux. The staff go above and beyond expectations, are amazingly attentive, helpful and nothing seems to be too much trouble, a special mention for Pierre and Lucille. The hotel itself has been recently refurbished, our room was amazing, very stylish and extremely well equipped.

This hotel is amazing. I booked it to propose to my fiancee in August 2024. Audrey was our hostess and made our stay really special, including helping me prepare the moment of proposal on the beautiful balcony and taking a video for us! Breakfast on the balcony was delicious and views breathtaking. Really lovely team at the hotel and great location. We will back back for future breaks in Bordeaux!

The helpfulness of the staff and location of this hotel as well as the comfort and cleanliness of the room made for a perfect stay. We definitely plan to return one day!

It wasn't a real problem but our room was right next to the cupboard where the cleaning staff stored and accessed their things. The noise woke us as it was so close to our door. Other than that, the room was very quiet.
