Attention to detail is everything when it comes to top-tier hospitality, and Hôtel Singulier excels in that department. Our room was incredibly spacious, beautifully decorated, with thoughtful touches from the handwritten welcome card to the picture frame-style TV to the tucked away mini-bar and coffee station. Pierre, the hotel manager, was very welcoming and helpful from start to finish and the hotel’s owners are available 24/7 even if the reception desk is closed. Don’t miss the view from the roof terrace - a great place for a drink and a moment to take in the beauty of Bordeaux.

For anyone who is averse to stairs, the only “drawback” is the lack of an elevator (but since it’s a historic building, they simply aren’t allowed to add one). If stairs aren’t a problem, then you really won’t find anything to dislike about this property.

The hotel staff went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay in every way. From the initial communication, to the friendly welcome when we arrived. They also arranged a light dinner/ supper with wine on the roof terrace as it was a special occasion for us. The hotel is a small boutique hotel and so it was nice to feel like we were contributing directly to the local economy. We found the Bordeaux people very friendly and proud and pleased we wanted ti visit their city. There are lots of nice shops, good restaurants and coffee shops nearby… you will be spoilt for choice! The cathedral is near by and viewable from the roof terrace.

I thought the description provided by the hotel was very modest. This is a lovely location and hotel. If you cannot climb stairs easily I recommend you request a room on the lower floors.

The plush bedding and high-quality linens made for a very comfortable night’s sleep. The highlight was definitely the bathtub, which added a touch of luxury to our short stay. The service at Hotel Singulier was outstanding. Audrey, in particular, was incredibly nice and helpful. She provided us with excellent restaurant recommendations and made sure we felt very welcome. Her warm and friendly demeanor truly enhanced our experience. Even though our stay was brief, we appreciated the hotel’s amenities. The breakfast offered a variety of fresh, local products and was a perfect start to our day. The location couldn’t have been better. We were within walking distance of Bordeaux’s major landmarks, shopping areas, and fantastic restaurants. It made exploring the city incredibly convenient. Our one-night stay at Hotel Singulier was perfect. The beautiful design, excellent service, and prime location made it a memorable experience. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bordeaux, whether for a short or long stay. In summary, Hotel Singulier provided us with a wonderful, albeit brief, experience in Bordeaux. We loved our stay at Hotel Singulier Bordeaux. From the moment we arrived, every detail was perfect. The room was immaculate, the decor was absolutely beautiful and the staff were beyond helpful. We were greeted with coffee and recommendations on the best things to do in the city which was much appreciated and made our entire trip. After a busy day the beautiful large bath and comfy bed were a god sent. We had the hotel’s breakfast the next morning which was all home made and delicious. We cannot recommend this hotel more, definitely will be back!

the property had a really great location and the hotel was exceptional. Room size was great and the open bathtub was really enjoyable. We will definitely be staying here again in our next trip to Bordeaux. Staff was very friendly and helpful as well!

The location is fantastic for visiting the old part of Bordeaux. The staff go above and beyond expectations, are amazingly attentive, helpful and nothing seems to be too much trouble, a special mention for Pierre and Lucille. The hotel itself has been recently refurbished, our room was amazing, very stylish and extremely well equipped.

The helpfulness of the staff and location of this hotel as well as the comfort and cleanliness of the room made for a perfect stay. We definitely plan to return one day!

It wasn't a real problem but our room was right next to the cupboard where the cleaning staff stored and accessed their things. The noise woke us as it was so close to our door. Other than that, the room was very quiet.

Extraordinary service from the staff, namely Pierre. Very helpful in giving us information about places to visit. Also very efficient and friendly with booking restaurants and wine trips. The location of the hotel is very good, in a quite street and at walking distance to the center and next to a car park. Large room with a window you can open.

The hotel has no elevator and the stairs are quite steep. It should be advertised on the website. People with disabilities or mobility limitations can be in for an unpleasant surprise. Although the room decoration had time and money put into it, the style was confusing and of doubtful taste, not what we expected for a traditional Bordeaux small hotel.

Incredibly helpful team from the arrival and over our 3 day stay. Just so rare these days. Thought that level of unhurried interested service had long gone. Team anticipating your needs and seemed genuinely glad we were having a great time and clearly Love Bordeaux and the area. Nothing too much trouble. Checked in with us by watsap daily just to see if we were ok!!!!! Amazing. Francois called around to help my wife sort a tech problem with her laptop. And had we needed him he offered to sort out in person during his lunch. Big problem solved Superb breakfast rooftop. Scrambled eggs best ever. So full of fresh herb flavour light creamy fluffy. And presentation! The so called "5 star" hotel managers should come here to learn what real customer service is vs the programmed insincere corporate "have a nice day " bull of the big chains.

Nothing to complain about. Will be back. The smell of the fresh baking wafting up to the apartment -from.the Baker below -- glorious. Excellent location at a gate entrance to the old town. Maybe as a thought the Hotel web site should let customers know that the hotel is beside the excellent tram which takes you to both train station and airport. The taxi is a mad Eur 25 for the 14 min journey from the train station. This morning from apartment to Airport 35 mins on the Tram.

Beautiful boutique hotel in central Bordeaux. Perfectly located close to everything but still in a quiet street. The staff were absolutely excellent and went out of their way. Audrey was amazing. My friend lost her glasses the night before at a karaoke bar and Bryan went and collected them for her! Amazing! We stayed in summer and the aircon worked perfectly and was quiet. Excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.
