We stayed here for 9 nights. Location was great and we could walk everywhere easily. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our one bedroom apartment was comfortable and spacious. The kitchenette was tiny but helpful. They had a laundry service for 20 euro flat rate which we used a few times. The bathroom basin smelled when we arrived but the staff cleaned it promptly. Overall we had a nice stay here and would stay again.

The bathroom was very small and the door was glass and see through and looked out onto the living room. There was a pull down blind to cover the window but it didn't fully cover it so you could still see the other person on the toilet from the living room. Not super private! The shower did not have good water pressure and it was a bit slow to adjust the temperature. There were only stairs to our room (no lift).

Location, location, location! The hotel is in the heart of Bordeaux centre and easily accessible by the direct metro from the airport (Hotel de Ville is the nearest stop <5mins walk). The location of this hotel is 11/10. The staff are very friendly and helpful! The rooms are clean and the kitchen facilities in our room were decent.

A couple things would have improved the ratings: 1) a room safe would have been nice to store our belongings rather than on the hotel staff to store these on our behalf! 2) the room didn’t have aircon either and the steam from the shower made the room humid at times. There were windows but aircon would have been great!

Great location , nice area, close to shopping, restaurants and public transportation. The staff was always very gracious and helpful. Comfortable beds and handy kitchenette.

There isn’t lift but the very nice registration person brought our luggage up while we were waiting to check in . Kitchen and bathroom garbage can covers were broken and our kitchenette was missing forks and knives. The front desk brought up forks and knives and resolved the utensil issue.

Charming old building, though a bit tired. In a great location in central Bordeaux, making everything walkable. Tram passes right in front so it’s very convenient. Our room was very large and comfortable. Small but equipped kitchenette a plus. Large bathroom with shower. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Only two minor critiques. As mentioned, it is an old building and despite its charm, it might be due for some updating and freshening up at some point. We did not sign up for breakfast except for one morning when we were catching an early tour. The $15 per person was high, we thought, for a pretty rudimentary offering. So, skip the breakfast and find a nice boulangerie nearby instead. But, no regrets in this hotel as a choice when weather is cool. I don’t believe it has AC so be cautious in summer.

I had the most fantastic room overlooking the lovely courtyard, which had double-doors that opened out over the courtyard for lots of fresh air. I sat there each morning in an armchair with cup of tea and was in heaven. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed so comfortable - I felt like I was in a French Provincial dream. I adored this hotel so much - the room and the vibe - I didn't want to leave! The staff were incredible and super helpful also. I can't recommend this hotel enough.

The location was fabulous, very easy access to the airport or wherever by tram. Almost opposite that famous Cathédrale Saint-André. So you could imagine all the nice shopping areas are at your hand ! The receptionist are friendly and helpful, thanks to his advice, l could get to know a very nice popular bakery just around the corner from the hotel ! The studio room was compact, but it has been nicely done making most of the space including kitchenette. Anyway, it wouldn’t be so many elegant apart-hotels like this…Although, not sure all the rooms are apartment type ….?

It is a minor thing, but l think some customer don’t realize that there is a studio room just besides the reception on the ground floor facing the courtyard. So l could hear some people talking in the courtyard late at night.

Although I had booked a late arrival and was given the details for secure collection of my key, there was someone waiting at reception especially - such a nice welcome! And the staff in the morning were equally polite and accommodating - putting up with my terrible French and digging out an adapter for me to borrow. The room on the ground floor was really lovely, although sadly I wasn't in it long enough to make use of the well-equipped little kitchen but it looked good. Comfy bed, nice decor, very handy location for trams and the cathedral practically on doorstep! Would happily stay again.

I loved the garden and the location in the walking district - close to cafes

The explanation of how to arrive and where to park should be on every communication. My suggestion is to go directly to the parking and then carry your luggage to the hotel. Both WAZE and Google Maps try to take you down streets that does not allow cars. Should you need to drop your luggage and you find yourself on a street with a big metal cone drive close to the cone and the sensor under the stone will bring the cone down so you may pass. The code for the “gate” means the front door of the hotel

Friendly staff, room clean and the kitchenette had everything you would need. The bonus was the fridge had drinks that could be purchased like a mini bar. Was surprised to see a microwave too. Hotel is in great location.

It's a pity the room didn't have air conditioning but I can understand it is an older building so would be difficult to install. A fan was supplied which was OK. On my last night the fan had been taken away and a unit brought in which was much better as blew out cooler air.

This hotel was in a perfect location. Close to the trams, restaurants, shopping, everything. The room was nicer than we expected, and the kitchette was very well stocked. We could hardly hear any noise from the street. The courtyard was lovely, and in better weather would be a great place to sit with a glass of wine in the evening. I'm sure this will be our first choice when we return to Bordeaux again.

We had a bit of banging noise from the upstairs room (the lampshades were swinging) but it was over quite soon, and had no trouble after that. The room was a little chilly the first night, but after that it was great.
