Property is beautiful and centrally located.

Breakfast could be better. Arrived at 7:45 and breakfast was partially setup for service. No water was offered, eggs were not fully cooked (we sent the eggs back and they cooked the same eggs that I returned to them) and bacon was raw. Yes, I know that prosciutto is raw looking but this was bacon. Save yourself 20 euro and go out to a nice cafe for breakfast. Desk clerk recommended a place for dinner, we walked only to discover the restaurant closed. We requested an early morning taxi to take us to the train station and it didn’t arrive. The kitchen/breakfast staff called and we were picked up in minutes, so that issue worked out and we didn’t miss our train.

Hotel is fabulous. It's has such a romantic old world feel but with all modern comforts. Staff were lovely and the location couldn't have been better. Basically about 5-10 mins walk from every place you'll want to see. Right on main square and a shopping centre about a min walk away.

My only issue was that our room was directly beside the breakfast room. It wasn't a huge deal, but if you prefer to sleep after 8 in the morning, the Deluxe Double Room with Balcony is not for you! I think there are only 2 of these but both are right beside the the breakfast station.

This is a wonderful hotel in the heart of the Old Town. We received a very friendly welcome at reception and were offered freshly baked cookies and coffee. We arrived before our room was ready, but it was no problem to store our bag. We were given a good street map and several suggestions on where to visit. Our room was spacious with a king-size bed. There were 2 relaxing leather armchairs and a coffee table. The room was tastefully decorated with very high ceilings. The bathroom had two sinks and a good shower over the bath. The room was very clean. We had a small balcony with a pleasant view. It was a quiet as traffic was restricted mostly to pedestrians and the trams.

It was a little difficult finding the hotel as you had to phone in a code to the police to lower the bollard on the restricted vehicle zone. Finding the car park that the hotel has a discounted rate with was also a bit of a challenge and we had a problem when trying to leave the car park with the ticket provided by the hotel. The breakfast room was quite cold and there was not very much choice of different items.

This charming hotel was very centrally located. It was within walking distance of great tourist locations, shops and restaurants. As an added bonus, the tram was literally right outside. We had breakfast at the hotel which was lovely and a great way to start the day. All staff were really friendly, helpful and made for a relaxed stay. Bordeaux is beautiful and I would stay here again!

Nothing.

This is a charming hotel in an excellent location. We had a double room with balcony which was very spacious and comfortable. The bed linen was great quality which was really nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in a beautiful old building, but along with that comes creaking floors and other quirks. Our room (double with balcony) faced the street which meant it was noisy if the windows were open with trams running past.

My room was as near perfect as possible. It was beautifully done and I was very happy with it. Well done. I was very well looked after and very grateful for it.

The room was at the front so right next to the tram which ran all night. It didn't bother me but might someone else. There is secondary glazing on the doors so the hotel did everything it could. Other rooms do not face the street.

Gorgeous room (chambre pessac) with a balcony overlooking a street with a view to st Andre cathedral. For some it might be noisy with trams running past but that did not bother us. Lovely staff too.

The noisy air con, but the noise eventually settles down, no idea why.

A lovely hotel within a converted mansion - when you find it! Our top tip is to set GPS to head straight for the Pey Berland car park and proceed on foot with luggage - it’s only a couple of minutes walk from the Monoprix exit. Very nice rooms and comfortable rooms although a bit noisy at breakfast time in the room adjoining the breakfast room.

The hotel is really lovely and the staff very helpful. However in terms of value for money a daily bottle of free water would have been welcome. We would have appreciated more dry towels. No hot drinks in the room but there is coffee and tea, fruit and biscuits available all day however in the morning the Nespresso machine is not available which is when the coffee would be most appreciated. The lift keeps getting stuck because guests don’t shut the gates properly which means that disabled guests are stranded if they cannot manage stairs.

OMG, this was the most amazing hotel room I have had the luxury of staying in. I was absolutely floored when I walked into this beautiful French apartment, I hardly wanted to leave it. There was so much space and openness that I didn’t know what do with myself. The balcony was a gorgeous addition to sit on and watch the sunset over the Cathedral. The bed was superbly large and comfortable. The bathroom was lovely and chic with great soaps and lotions to use. The location was fantastic too, everything was so close and in walking distance that you barely had to go far for any walking tours, cafes, restaurants or monuments. I would recommend anyone to stay here. I loved it.

Nothing!

Location is the main advantage of this hotel - it’s central to all the main sights and experiences in Bordeaux. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating and the cleanliness of the room was outstanding - have never had the bathroom floor washed twice in a week before. The suite we were in was lovely, spacious and with great character.

The breakfast was not brilliant - a bit under-provided and expensive - we tried it once but found breakfast in the town all other mornings.
