Reception team couldn't have been more helpful. Very quiet at all times, it's set back from the main road and is ideal for some peace and quiet. Less than ten minute walk from Tram B going into the heart of Bordeaux and No1 bus straight to either the Airport or main train station. So much to do within walking distance. The nearby Market is a must visit.

There is nothing to dislike about this location. Merci pour votre hospitalitè.

The hotel was really secure with a gate/code and code to get into the building after 10pm. The room was spacious and really clean! The bed was incredibly comfortable and the doona was nice and thick/warm. Air con worked perfectly. The stove worked well and the fridge was cold. The window opened a bit, which was nice for some fresh air. The bathroom was clean and modern. The hotel staff were lovely and let us store our bags all day after check out. There were a few grocery stores, a boulangerie and pharmacy right around the corner. The hotel is close to the B tram which takes you right into the city, which was amazing! Great value for money!

There were a few minor things that we thought could be improved. There was no tea towel, which was disappointing given it is marketed as an apartment hotel room with kitchenette. The sponge had been used before which was not pleasant. There could be more utensils too - some basic ones were missing. The range hood needed a good clean - smelt like fish. The cleaners did not service our room on one of the days despite having the sign on the door all day (we were out 8-6). No fan in the bathroom.

That the room had a 2 fridges, microwave and hob. There was also a coffee maker and kettle plus some t bags.

On arrival you had to let in main gate but even though given a code to get back in you weren't told how to get out. Very confusing as 2 key pads and one was for the apartments. The place is not managed 24hrs so you have another code to gey into hotel at night. No bar facilities and breakfast even though it said cornflakes it again just had muesli, which meant the cereal was a choice of 3 muesli. In the bathroom there was a dirty towel and I had to ask to not only get a clean one but 2 towels as there was 2 of us. The shower over the bath was hand held unless you were a midget and finally the toilet paper was just on a shelf behind the toilet.

We had a comfortable appartment with views and a terrace, and good basic kitchen facilities. Good heating, a bath ( although rather small when your 1850 tall) and adequate hanging and drawer storage for a a longer stay - we were here for 7 days. Parking was great, there were buses going past the property, and it is less than a 10 minutes walk to a tram stop. Get a bus/ tram pass - they are great value. Breakfast was OK, but after the first morning we were not enticed back, and made our own in our appartment. Loved Bordeaux, and the appartment served us well. Staff were friendly, professional and spoke English.

Location and size of the room

Very poor Wifi internet connection; there was no extraction fan in the toilet which is next to the cooking arwa; Power/ electricity went out in the morning 3am. There was no light neither internet, it was very scary. I could not find my way to my bed from the bathroom in the pitch darkness. The folloewng nights, we left the curtain half closed to leave some natural light into the room in case the power goes off again

This hotel is such a lovely gem tucked away from the main road offering security, peace and quiet in what is a busy city. If you’re driving, it also means a safe and secure car park away from the main street and the public. The staff are extremely nice and will do everything possible to assist if you need anything. The hotel itself is pretty, very clean and has a lovely, extremely tasty continental breakfast available. It is also well insulated, so you won’t be disturbed by other guests. If you’d prefer to cook something for yourself, there are also facilities available in the room to do so. We enjoyed our stay so much that we stayed here on two separate occasions and the value for money is really unbeatable. Thank you!

nothing.

The room and bathroom were very pretty, the bed was super comfortable. We had a small kitchen that we didn’t use because we only stayed for the weekend but we would definitely use it if we stayed longer. Definitely recommend to stay there even for one week or something. Staff was nice. Good location.

We reserved two studios connected through a door in the middle we could close and have privacy when we wanted. When we arrived one room had the door open and the other had the window open. The door being open was definitely weird and a bit unsafe but everything was ok.

Pleasant room with a kitchenette and tea/coffee making facilities. We didn't have the breakfast but it looked ok.

There was staining in the bathroom from a previous leak, and a slight smell, but it didn't bother us The hotel was a little out of the city centre but was good value compared to more central hotels. Bus no 1 to/from the airport is 5 minutes' walk away. There is no garden at Hotel Victoria Garden - I counted just one shrub! But it was still pleasant.

10 minutes walk from the town and closest tram service. Comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent though pastries ran out if you arrived after 9.15ish. Late checkout. Decoration of common areas very original!

Room cleaning could be better - windows smeary. Slightly downbeat road but hotel itself was fine. TV didn't have any English language channels. Parking was pricey.
