Very conveniently located. The staff was always very friendly and helpful with recommendations. The rooms were very clean. I appreciated the communication prior to our arrival to see if there was anything that we needed and the ability to purchase flowers, fruit basket, Champaign, etc. to be in the room upon arrival. Nice touch.

Elevator is horribly small... but I am glad they have one.

We were looking for a hotel near the opera, and Excelsior had very good rates and reviews in Booking. We were surprised and the place is very nice indeed. They provide bottles of fresh water everyday and restock tea and coffee. The electric kettle was cleaned before our stay (it smelled like vinegar inside, it's good to know they clean it, we boiled water once and it was like new), that's very much appreciated, knowing some guests have awful practices. The room size was good and the staff very friendly.

The room had a particular smell, not bad, and you would stop smelling it once used to it, but it was a shock each time we entered the room. Other than this, the stay was perfect.

It was easy to find the hotel and access the sightseeing areas. The room was clean and comfortable. I want to repeat this hotel if I have a chance to visit Paris again.

Quiet and clean rooms; safe neighborhood; super-convenient location; courteous; attentive, multi-lingual staff (small enough team so that you'll recognize morning and evening front desk managers after a day or so). Air-conditioned rooms and large windows; daily maid/towel service; no billing surprises; 24-hour front desk presence; locked outer doors at night. Booking.com included free taxi from CDG to hotel, and that worked perfectly. Ground floor food court and lower level grocery at nearby Galleries Lafayette are amazing! Overall, great value for the price.

The single elevator is, not unsurprisingly in Europe, quite small, but the wait is never long.

This hotel is close to the metro station. There are many restaurant around.

I booked a family room with an extra bed for my teenage son. But the bed is smaller than twin size. One can easily fall off the bed if not turning carefully.

Perfect location near Galleries Lafayette and Lafayette Gourmet! Staff is very friendly and responsive. When we asked to change our room they changed it for a better one without any rumble. In the new room we had more space, a coffee machine and a wonderful french window!

At first they gave us a very tiny room which was more like a closet and with view to the interior well-like "patio".

It's very near to Galeries Lafayette, good for those who wish to shop for luxury goods. There is a restaurant just beside the hotel and a groceries store just few metre away. More restaurant opposite of this hotel. Location is good.

The room is quite small, i'm choosing 2 single beds room, both single beds just putting side by side with no extra space in between, this is the down side. My friend staying at 6th floor and i'm at 4th floor, however i can't going to 6th floor by lift as it only design to going down, so you will need to access to upper floor from your room by stairway.
