Location, location, location. Close to everything, in the lively neighborhood. Great breakfast, tasty and good choice of options. Few metro station around, but you can walk as well to . 20 min to Louvres, 15 to Montmartre, 8 to Opera. But the best is the staff! Nice, professional, really caring. There was a problem with a room and they changed it immediately to much better room. They brought our stuff there with chocolates and a lovely note. Everyone was so kind, attentive and helpful. We were really touched. Especially we would like to thank Kofi (apologies if I spell the name incorrectly) for his patience, kindness and assistance.

Small rooms - but this is typical for Paris, so OK. There is a weird lighting in rooms. IMHO they need to to take a designer who can create more friendly lighting environment. This is an atmospheric hotel and this lighting has nothing to doo we its cozy atmosphere.

The staff at this hotel were beyond exceptional and it was outstanding value at the price point. Prosecco and macarons on arrival were a perfect welcome for our first time in Paris. Staying there for Christmas, the staff very kindly left us a small Christmas present. Some colouring activities had been left in our room for our little one. When we mentioned in passing our little ones favourite animal, we came back to the room to find a colouring with said animal. Breakfast was great value, and after an explore to see if there was anything else I'd like to try in the area realised that it was the best at least in walking distance. Walking distance from quite a few metro stations, and lots of restaurants, and shopping area.

The room was a tad small, but made up for it in charm.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. As a sweet surprise, I was greeted with delicious macarons upon check-in, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, and the service throughout my stay was impeccable. On the day of my departure, I was able to leave my luggage at the hotel for several hours after checking out, which allowed me to explore the city without any hassle. I truly appreciated the convenience and hospitality, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting!

The only downside was that the trash in my room wasn’t emptied daily, which was a bit inconvenient. However, overall, I had a great experience.

Hotel Touraine Opera offers a fantastic location, conveniently situated between Gare du Nord station and the Louvre Museum, providing excellent connectivity. The simplicity of the hotel adds to its charm, and the room was cozy and comfortable. The breakfast was simple yet delicious, and we especially loved the croissants and macarons, as did our toddler. Although our stay was short, after a busy day exploring Paris, we were delighted by the relaxing and comforting atmosphere of the hotel.

As a solo traveler, I liked the location/ proximity to major train station ( Gare du Nord, 20 min walk) Galeries Lafayette, great cafes, restaurants, sports bar ( I was there for Olympics). Air conditioner was FANTASTIC. Room was cool and dark for sleeping . So important in the heat. Double Bed was very comfortable, the room's door felt solid when closed, bathroom was new, clean, stylish. L'occitane products. Water pressure strong. Breakfast was very good value for money, with charming host bringing treats to the table. English spoken and my bad French encouraged! Water machine for still / sparkling water, which you can use for refills for the room or day trip.

No view from my single room, but it didn't matter, I was there on my own and only in the room to sleep. No kettle to boil water for tea ( I can't make tea in a coffee machine. I'm sure it could be done, and I'm sure they would have brought me a kettle if I asked). TV difficult to find English channels for Olympics catch up coverage.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient for a short stay in Paris. It's centrally situated, with numerous dining options nearby and within walking distance to attractions like Galeries Lafayette. Elissa, the receptionist, was exceptionally welcoming and kind, making us feel comfortable throughout our stay. The charming lobby offers thoughtful extras like a water station and to-go wipes. Our room was cleaned daily and stocked with L'Occitane products. The hotel team surprised us with goodies in our room, and Elissa even gave us a farewell present. Kudos to the team for their outstanding service. We would love to stay here again on our next visit to Paris.

Wonderful staff, they were always so helpful and kind. They went above and beyond! We loved the extra special touches, like placing a pack and play in the room with a coloring book and a candy for our child or a “after shopping” pack of face cream, sleep spray, and calming foot massage cream. The location was great as well, close (but still a walk) to many metro stations and the RER line. Great neighborhood with lots of restaurants while still being quiet for the city. The room was a good size.

The bed was slightly too firm for us, and the hotel itself is quite small making the hallways and elevator very tight. We had an issue with there not being a plastic piece on the bottom of our shower door, so water would pour out. However, the issue was fixed very promptly by staff, great response and they gave us free breakfast for the problem which was sweet.

The staff were exceptionally friendly & helpful. The breakfast area was unique, very French and inviting. The breakfast itself was very good. The L'Occitaine bathroom products were very welcome as were the treats. The bed was comfortable. Location was good, close to a metro station.

The lift was broken for the duration of our stay which made things very difficult for my husband who had hurt his foot. We are in our 70's and were on the fourth floor.

The room size was spacious compared to other properties in Paris. Location is great, close to a lot of main activities. I like the gym and sauna on site. The location is on a quieter side of a street.

I like pretty much everything in the hotel. If there are a few restaurants that are a tiny little bit closer, that would be wonderful. I mean, there are restaurants close by, I'm just spoiled by having it right down below, when my legs are so sore from walking, so 3 mins vs. 15 mins make a small difference. LOL

Staff were friendly and helpful and prompt to respond to requests. Due to celebrating a birthday they provided a complimentary bottle of wine and macaroons upon arrival which was a nice touch. Room was small but bed very comfortable. Good location - 20-30 min walk to most locations and 2 metro stations close by.

Breakfast was poor. Limited selection of items and the same hot items each day - would have appreciated some variety. Only one type of eggs. Mushrooms were cold and hash browns very dry. Also breakfast served until 10.30 but came down one day at 10 and items had already been cleared away. Shower had no water pressure.
