All the staff were so helpful and friendly- you can tell this is a really well-run hotel. The room was very clean and was well cleaned daily. The shower was good and you can stretch your arms out in the bathroom- not a given in Paris! The street is loud, but the windows are very well sound-proofed, so I had no problems sleeping (not sure what it would be like in summer) All in all, a really positive experience- I would go back anytime!

It would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but there's certainly no shortage of places in the immediate vicinity. I found the price quite high for a single room, but the quality was excellent, and I fear this probably counts as a reasonable price these days.

Florent and the other staff are very courteous, friendly, and helpful. The place is very close to Denfert Rochereau metro station (one of the exits is less than 100m from the hotel door), the Catacombs, and a lot of great shops along Rue Daguerre. Perfect for travelers like us who like to explore the city by public transport - traveling to the main attractions (Eiffel Tower, Louvre, etc) are all under 30min metro ride (including changes) from Denfert Rochereau.

The building/rooms may need some updating as the bed, furniture, and amenities are old.

Good location, clean, soft and hard pillows, nice soft towels, small but decent size room, decent bathroom size, i cant really complain, also cant complain about a few steps when you enter the hotel like others do around here

The location is very convenient, close to a lot of metro stops, plus a bus line to Orly airport. The room was nice and clean with three single beds and a nice view. There are a lot of restaurants around and a grocery store across the street. It takes 20 minutes to get to the Eiffel tower by metro, direct line, buy your tickets in advance! The staff is friendly and helpful.

There is no elevator to the lobby from the entrance and a long walk upstairs. There is an elevator from the lobby to the rooms though.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It is very easy to reach the centre and all of the main tourist attractions. The room was comfortable as well, we had an incredible view from the window. The room was clean.

One morning we tried breakfast which costs an additional 10 euros per person for one morning, however, they are tiny and not worth the price, therefore, it is not worth getting breakfast there.

The room was basic but they got the basics right. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed for a short stay. The hotel was easy to find and super close to transport including the Orly airport bus. The staff were very welcoming and friendly.

The wifi connection wasn't amazing but it worked most of the time. Although there is a lift from reception to the rest of the hotel, there is a flight of stairs to reach reception - not an issue for me but could be for others.

We chose the hotel for its proximity to The Lion de Belfort statue, because of a book called A Lion in Paris, so my Grandson was delighted that it was so near. The view from the little balcony was great especially at night becuse we could see the Eiffel tower and the Montparnasse tower lit up and the Metro was just outside. There were also lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was good and they didn't charge for my grandson's portion. I also needed to book an extra night because the Eurostar was cancelled and the hotel sorted that easily.

Everything was good

The direct (and always full) Roissy Bus from Orly Airport stops/departs from 150 metres away from the hotel. The M6 and other main metro lines are easily accessible, making the hotel an ideal location to travel around Paris. As to restaurants, you're spoilt for choice. We paid eur100 per night (additional eur10 per person per night for breakfast, optional) - that's quite reasonable for a 2-star hotel in mid-Paris.

The hotel lobby is not at ground floor level and the flight of stairs leading to it from street level might be daunting for those with mobility restrictions or with prams/strollers. The hotel overlooks two busy main roads, with substantial traffic passing through until the early morning hours. Our room did not have an air conditioner.

Exceeded my expectations for a 2-star hotel. Very clean room that offered a lovely view from a small balcony. A very nice surprise. Comfortable bed, blackout curtains, quiet, because my room was well above the street. Friendly staff at the check-in desk. The metro stop is directly atop of the hotel--convenient. Good Wifi. Decent water pressure.

Not a critique but a caveat for others: To enter the hotel, you must club a twisting staircase. Those carrying small luggage should have no problem, but those with a lot of luggage may need help from hotel staff. Also, the rooms on the lower floors may be noisy for light sleepers (said a friend who slept on a lower floor). Lastly, the hotel is located south of Montparnasse, not in central Paris, so that's a caveat. However, the hotel is right on top a metro stop and that line runs directly to CDG Airport while Montparnasse train station is nearby.

Location. The train station is a 5min walk and Denfert Rochereau connects to CDG, line 4 and line 6 which are the trains you can ride going to Paris attractions. The hotel is also near a lot of restaurants, supermarket, pharmacies, and clothing stores! The lady who was at the front desk was a really nice lady, always happy to help! They also always clean the room daily and provide new towels!

They didnt provide new water bottles daily so we had to ask and buy.
