The location opposite the RER station and close to Rue Daguerre can't be beat. Walking around we felt like we could get a glimpse of everyday life for commuters and young professionals. The hotel also has a good sized elevator and the bathrooms were generally well appointed. Service was friendly and responsive; I never felt that the staff were trying to "push back" against my requests.

The single room was very tiny. We also had a triple room that was fine. Breakfast should have been cheaper for children, if so we would certainly have tried it at least one night. Still there are many options nearby for food. Overall I would stay here again, though the price seemed high for what you get.

Lovely, clean hotel well situated across the road from RER station and Orlybus stop. Lots of good restaurants in the area along with supermarkets and a bonus it wasn't very touristy! I'd booked a small double which was perfect for me but wouldn't be big enough for two people. It was clean with a comfortable bed and had AC, a small fridge & kettle. Bathroom again was small but was clean and had toiletries supplied & there was a hairdryer. The shower was powerful. The staff was extremely helpful and were more than happy to speak English when I struggled at times! Breakfast is ok (€27 for two days) basket of croissants & bread, fruit, yogurt, juice and hot drink. I booked breakfast out of convenience but for a better selection I'd go elsewhere next time. I'd highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return. I was travelling on my own and felt safe for the whole trip.

This place worked well for us (after a negative check in). The room size is bigger than most in Paris. The room was furnished nice enough and it was quiet at night. The elevator worked well, responsive. Hotel location next to blue line was important to us and it worked very well, just a few minutes from the station.

Check in the first impression and when you have a clerk that is salty and unhappy and short with you it just sets a tone for our stay. It was hard to overcome the treatment we rec'd at check in but luckily we never saw this person again so that helped a lot. The gal that checked us in is in the wrong profession.

This hotel is in a wonderful location in the Montparnasse area of Paris, just a quick walk from the metro station and many buses. I enjoyed walking to the many cafés and shops in the area. My bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. I also appreciated the elevator.

There is nothing fancy about this property, yet it is clean and comfortable. There is no lobby or gathering place other than a small empty room where they serve breakfast. After reading many comments from other travelers, I opted not to take their limited $12 continental breakfast, but instead had delicious croissants and coffee at a different café each morning. Also be aware that the walls are very thin and I could hear whenever the neighbor coughed. The front desk staff was adequate, but certainly not very welcoming or friendly.

Excellent location to transit, including metro and buses (train station right across the street - convenient getting to and from airports and to all the main attractions in the city center. I bought a one day transit pass for 8.40 euros and used it excessively.) Cafes, restaurants and mini markets nearby. The single twin room is small but it fits one person comfortably and has everything for a short stay. The room (#29) was clean and included hot water pot. The staff was welcoming and professional. No traffic or outside noise. A little noisy in the hallway in the early evening because the room is two steps from the elevator. However, at night it was very quiet.

I wish the shower water was a little hotter but others may find it comfortable. The refrigerator did not work properly and it smelled bad inside. Upon reporting it, staff allowed me to store a drink in their main refrigerator so it wasn't really a big issue.

I’m from the US and stayed 5 nights in April. The location was excellent, very close to a Metro and to a light rail station. In addition, the street behind the hotel had many fruit, vegetable, bread and meat shops. The building was quite old (everything in the 14 arr. is old) but well maintained and the room was comfortable with a very nice bathroom. The elevator worked perfectly. Breakfast was large with orange juice, coffee, yogurt, bread, honey and jam.

The location was great - we were close to the Denfert-Rochereau station, so travelling by metro was a breeze. There were also plenty of restaurants, cafés, bakeries etc. in the neighborhood. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and provided us with all the information we needed. Although we stayed in the 4 person room, we never felt that it was too cramped. The beds were really comfortable, the bathroom was clean and spacious enough, the blackout curtains helped a lot for a good night's sleep and we had all the amenities we needed - electric kettle, tea bags, instant coffee, mini fridge, toiletries. Our room was cleaned daily by the lovely cleaning ladies. I would definitely stay here during future trips.

The location was pretty good. It was a busy area but convenient to the metro and RER. Staff was helpful and the room was clean. We liked the look of our room. Having the towel warming rack in the bathroom was nice.

One negative for my wife was that there was no additional outlet in the bathroom. Their hair dryer was affixed to the wall and was the type where once you remove it, it stays on. In other words, if you want to use your own hair dryer, there is no way to do it in the bathroom. In the room itself, there were extra outlets but no mirror close enough to the outlet.

the room was not the same as in the photos when I booked. it was smaller and with no space for suitcases like in the photos. The lady at the front desk told is we could cancel the rest of our itinerary if we gave 3 days notice. We decided to stay as it was a hassle to get a refund for the remainder days. The beds are very comfortable, they clean every day and the staff is very polite so we stayed. The location is great.

No coffee, the double room too small for 2 adults

- The staff were very nice. I arrived early so they let me leave my bag with them and go take a long walk. - The shower. Idk how they manage to keep such nice water pressure and temperature, while in historical Paris. - The metro/rer station and Orly bus are right across the street. The metro line serves all the landmarks you'd be seeing during a short stay. - General location is OK, I was able to walk to both Jardin du Luxembourg and Eiffel Tower within a few hours. - I paid 180 euro a night, which is good price for Paris, specifically in this location, so really can't complain.

- There was bad smell in the lobby. I do understand the building is old, but still it's unpleasant. No smell in the room though, which is nice. - The doors aren't even remotely soundproof. If you're a light sleeper, it's going to be a problem, especially if you're right in front of the elevator (I was lucky enough to be given a room away from it). That said, I came for just two nights, one of which was the New Year's Eve, so I was partying out for the most time and the noise didn't bother me too much.
