Super friendly staff! We arrived very early at the hotel. No problem to leave our luggage in a closed storage room. Got offered a coffee and a viennoiserie. We stayed in a 2 bed -room which was a very spacious room. The room was on the 3rd floor, not at the street side, so no nice view, but we could leave our window open at night. Excellent bed and pillows! 20 minutes walk from the train station Gare du Nord - 25 minutes walk to Le Louvre. As it is an old building : - there is still carpet. It's charming, but bit dusty for allergies - an old building = thin walls, but not that bad.

The hotel’s decor is art nouveau throughout which I adore. The room was extremely large and the bathroom was enormous. The staff were extremely helpful , courteous and polite. The hotel is small and offers breakfast only which means we were able to explore the area for evening meals. It is located in an ideal position - just a short walk to the shopping area and Opéra House. If you walk in the other direction you are in the most gorgeous residential area with brasseries on every street and corner. I have stayed at this hotel before and it is my go to place in Paris.

The rooms are spacious, even though a bit outdated, everything worked perfectly and the bed was comfortable. The only thing it lacked were power outlets to charge our phones. We had to use the bathroom’s outlet. They offer beverages and croissant throughout the day for free to guests, breakfast was really good too (paid separately). Yasmim and the others at front desk were wonderful! Super knowledgeable and so sweet and friendly! Location was wonderful, 2 min walk to Trinite station and close to the Opera, Gallerie Lafayette and Printemps.

The hotel has been open for 130 years of more so has much charm and character, quirky and enjoyable. All day free coffee in the lounge is great touch. Staff are uniformly friendly and helpful.

At present breakfast is only room service but there is a good place for breakfast a few doors away

This place is the real Paris. If you want an authentic place, this is the experience. Cozy and old school like hotels used to be! Delicious breakfast, spacious rooms with beautiful genuine interiors, not pretentious, no extra fluff , just the real deal! I will come back here every time I’m in Paris.

We loved everything

The Hotel Langlois is excellent: close to more than one metro station; close to a variety of restaurants, cafes and takeaway food places which are not full of tourists; and close enough to the main sights on the Right Bank. The breakfast for E9 at the brasserie on the corner was excellent. Despite all this the street is not particularly busy. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was clean and large, with a small table and two comfortable chairs. This is an older hotel and so does not have the soulless ambience of the international chain hotel. Unlike some older hotels it has a lift.

My only negative is that the breakfast was not good value for money. This is not a problem as there is better breakfast for less available a few doors down the street. However if you are looking for everything to be shiny new and just like every other hotel you stay in, then this may not be the hotel for you. For me the positives of this hotel far outweighed any small negatives.

There was an AC that actually worked (unlike in some other hotels which claim to have AC but was in fact just a fan…), really useful for 33+C weather. :) Breakfast was a bit more expensive but has a little bit of everything (veggies, fruits, ham and cheese especially), good quality yogurt, which was uncommon in Paris hotels. Room was cleaned every day, new toiletries every day, very friendly English-speaking staff at front desk, got a room facing the courtyard so no noisy in the night even with open window. Room was beautifully decorated.

A bit of noisy from the corridor and other rooms, also from the floor above (due to old wooden floor). The water during shower kept switching between cold and warm slightly, not too bothering but noticeable).

Location was AMAZING. So close to the metro and Montemart but in a neighborhood that felt less touristy. Also, the free croissants saved us a few times when we came back late and hungry. The breakfast was great and the staff were really nice. The room was huge for Paris.

We had a view off the back that looked into some offices. It would have been nice to have a room with a city view. It was quiet, though.

Very good location with plenty of facilities for shopping, travel and more all local. The hotel itself was a pleasure to stay at with a comfortable environment to be at. The staff were always friendly and willing to help with the morning breakfast being delicious with plenty of choice. Thank you for such a wonderful stay and I look forward to to staying here again.

Great vintage hotel in a great location half a block from the metro. Details of plasterwork, antique furniture, art, lighting foster the sense that you have escaped into the elegant past. Clean room, comfortable bed, view of Sacre Coeur on the hill from our 6th floor windows. Nice to have an elevator to ride you up the middle of the broad staircase. Wonderfully friendly and attentive staff, eager to please. We didn't buy breakfast, just brought in pastries from down the block, but went down to grab coffee, which is free all day. It was hard to leave.

Hmmm. Let's see. I'll try to think of something. Oh - we could have used more hangers in the wardrobe. Oh yes, and leaving.
