Friendly welcome to this comfortable hotel in a great location/neighbourhood. Fortunate with room size as it was on a corner at the end, which meant more floor space and light. The layout of the downstairs communal area and corridors led to it having more character and not feeling like the usual corporate block. No noise audible from other rooms but some from the street, due to keeping the windows open instead of using the air conditioning unit. Bathroom was adequate in size with a hot shower and refillable soap/shampoo bottles, plus a hairdryer. Working WiFi in the room. There was also a working lift. Breakfast had a fair selection of hot (scrambled egg, DIY boiled eggs, bacon) and cold (including ham, chicken, cheeses, rocket, jams/Nutella, bread, toast, pain au chocolat, mini croissants, Madeleines, cereals, fruit) food, plus apple/orange juice and a hot drinks machine (available at all hours, as was a cold water tap to refill one's own bottle). The dining area appeared welcoming with various pictures on the wall and cosy touches.

The wardrobe was strangely designed and didn't make good use of the available space, so was not the easiest to fully utilise. There was no "do not disturb" sign in the room, which would've been useful to have in order to avoid housekeeping either disturbing in the morning or unnecessarily changing towels during the stay. No safe in the room but perhaps this service would've been available at reception, if it had been queried.

We loved the location in the less touristy part of Paris. Loved being able to walk to corner cafes and shops, and close proximity to busses and Metro. We felt safe, and the staff were truly kind and helpful. Breakfasts were beautiful and had many choices.

We do need to say that the pictures on the website of the rooms don't actually show the rooms at this hotel. Although the rooms were fine- clean, safe, good beds, they were not as updated as the pics showed.

The location was great, with some really nice cafes and restaurants just around the corner. You could also have breakfast in the hotel which looked nice (though we didn't have it). There was always staff on reception so there was always someone to ask questions of. We were on the 6th floor so even though it was in a busy area it was still quiet. The bed was very comfortable so we got a good night sleep. The hotel contacted us before we arrived regarding checking in times, luggage storage and whether we wanted twin beds in any of our rooms which I found really considerate.

Though it had pretty much what we needed the room we were in was really quite small. The pillows were too soft and there was only 1 additional firmer pillow (given 2 people were staying in the room I would have expected 2 additional pillows). There was also a slope into the bathroom which if it got wet was quite slippy. We could have done with USB charging sockets too.

The staff couldn't have been anymore friendly, they were very welcoming. The breakfast was very good, could be busy at certain times, but everything was fresh and kept well topped up. The room was very clean and comfortable, I'd like coffee making facilities but it was all very good. Location of the hotel was perfect, very good links on the Metro to everywhere we wanted to go or a short walk.

Had a really great stay at the Ibis Paris Grands Boulevard over the marathon weekend in early April. Fantastic location around 500 yards from the metro station with lots of shops, restaurants and bakery's within 5 minutes walk. Hotel was clean throughout with a nice area to sit just past reception. Staff were friendly during check-in/check-out. Room was actually a decent size for two people and the shower was powerful. Rooms were made up daily with fresh towels. Can't comment on breakfast as we did not try it. Booked early and would consider this value for money and would definitely consider staying here if visiting again.

The night receptionist seemed to like to disappear and you need to be buzzed in through the front door.

The location of the hotel is excellent for a first time visitor. There are nearby bus stops and metro, you have even in walkable distance two of the must see sights (louvre and the opera) and very close to Monmarte. The neiborhood feels safe and is full of shops (pharmacy, baker, restaurants/bars, supermarket etc). The hotel staff are always ready to help you and present. The breakfast has everything you need to start your day properly, but if you dont book it you still have options around the corner. We didnt speak the language but the majority of people was very helpful at all times, everywhere. The hotel is value for money and you will enjoy your days in Paris. A tip for a first time visitor is to take a taxi from airport (CDG) to hotel, it takes at least a train and a bus to get there with all your luggage. Unless you're on a budget, take a taxi.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Staff was welcoming and helpful. There was a metro station 1-2 minute walk away. Couple of cafe/restaurants and shops are nearby. Room was calm and clean. We took breakfast but I can't say it was rich (that's personal choice). If you stay on 7th floor then you have to walk by stairs 1 floor (from 6th).

Location is good, but I didn't like neighborhood was not so clean. About hotel itself can't say anything.

The room was clean and comfortable. The beds were made, and towels changed, daily. The room was quiet and the blackout curtains ensured a good nights sleep. The location was ideal, a 15 min walk from the Gare du Nord, just a 20 min walk to the Louvre and the same to the Sacre Coeur and plenty of bars, restaurants and bakeries in the immediate vicinity.

It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room although I was advised they were available at reception.

The breakfast was good, a decent choice, and kept my teenage daughter very happy. We particularly enjoyed the open lounge/ dining area and free hot drinks on tap which meant there was always somewhere comfortable and warm to come back to after a long day walking in wintry Paris!

Downstairs toilet was not very clean. Other than that, everything was great

The staff were so friendly and welcoming! The hotel was in the best location, soo many cafes and restaurants around the area but not cliche tourist spots. Close enough to walk up to Montmartre and down to the Lourve. Great spot! The room was a perfect size and I loved how we had two sets of windows that opened. Perfect for laundry and also that afternoon sunset view. Felt extremely safe and the bed was super clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this place.

No hand towels in the bathroom which was really weird! Even when cleaned the next few days we only ever had two towels and a bathmat. Also no soap either, only bodywash.
