The room was quirky and came with a balcony but we had to move the bed to open the window to step up and over the window and once you are out, you have a lovely view with a small table and 2 chairs. Staff always very friendly and every day in reception the hotel offered free of charge - water, coffee, sweets, pastries. Great location and 5 min walk to Blanche metro and Moulin Rouge. Very safe location and easy access to many sights.

Breakfast included in the room was a little chaotic and housed in a very small cellar room and not much food available if you arrive after 9am and items like french bread, cheese, cold meats, boiled eggs not topped up, so the buffet breakfast was limited. For this reason, I did not bother with breakfast on our second day. The room was very small but that is standard for Paris. The bathroom could do with an update and due to warm weather (23-24c) the shower drain was a little smelling. Aircon did work but was preset at 19c and could not be changed. The system is old and needs replacing as made a noise and temp in our room showed 25c, so the aircon seemed ineffective and we had to open the main window for fresh air at night but could be noisy for some people.

Loved the vibe of the rooms, the bathroom and the friendly staff. The hotel is nicely situated in a dynamic neighborhood with easy access to public transport, shops, restaurants...

You should double check the cleanliness of the rooms before letting customer discover some nasty things. Other than that nothing else to say.

Great localization for a hotel, rather quiet street in general. Walking distance to one of the main metro routes system and incredibly close to Moulin Rouge. It was always pleasant to come inside the hotel lobby for a quick food or drink refreshment in the middle of the day which was complimentary on the hotel. Room stuff were helpfull and trustworthy. Mr Edouard, hotel manager is a man of his word. It was especially worth to talk to staff about hidden gem restaurants, since because of it we discovered a place where local people were dining daily, and we would have a authentic French cuisine with great company. Despite of an error done by the hotel that lead to terrible situation, Mr. Edouard has came up with a solution and followed up on it. Unfortunete event aside, this hotel is recommandable!

Hotel could use more up to date pictures to reflect current state of the rooms. That said, pictures are still relevant, just abit out of date.

The Breakfast was great. Just the right things that you require. It was set out in a bunker and that was awesome. We really enjoyed it. The lady who was handling the breakfast was so nice and friendly. She even offered us hot croissants from the kitchen. The Sitting or living room area was excellent with the retro sofas and coffee machine and snacks which you had access to 24 hours a day. Gave you a feel of a Parisian home. Coming back to the hotel after a long day and seeing Anne Sophie and Junior at the reception was amazing. They were so friendly and helpfull. I would give an extra star to the hotel just for the staff and these 3 stood out.

The guy checking us in, the day we arrived was not very welcoming and should have done better. It was raining and cold when we walked in so should have been a little more helpful. He also gave us probably the smallest of rooms which was a problem for us as we had 2 big bags. Probably not his fault as the hotel was full. We had to put the bags on the bed each time we had to put or remove something. Also our view was behind in an alley where some construction was going on but it didn't disturb us that much. The next day Anne Sophie very lovely and friendly girl at the reception did offer to change my room as soon as one got vacant which was in a day but we just left it as we were already used to the room.

Great location close to a metro station and within walking distance to chill Montmartre. The hotel's amenities are great and really friendly staff. The decor had proper personality, mainly the rooms but even the interior of the lift! It might sound small, but I loved having sparkling water available downstairs daily. I was provided with a pressing iron on request. The petit dejeuner was lovely in the downstairs repurposed cellar (I assume) which adds to the experience. If you're lucky to have one of the top rooms with a balcony, it's a fantastic view and it gives you an extra glimpse into how it is to be a Parisian. If I visit Paris again, I'd love to stay in the same hotel.

It needs to be said, though not a fault of Kipling Hotel, but the size of rooms in Paris is smaller than you might think. I might have stubbed my toe, but I got used to it quick. The bed frame was a bit noisy. It didn't come up in my research that the location is quite close to a street with adult shops. It might be good to be aware of it.

The front desk team was nice, warm and welcoming. One of them was super nice and helpful, made one complimentary upgrade, helped me with printouts, information about Paris etc. I would have loved to mention her name but for my memory, unfortunately. There were no surprises, which was a good thing. The best thing was the location, which was close to multiple bus stops, metro and a lot of attractions.

Nothing that’s noteworthy of mentioning. May be the value for money part could have been better. Otherwise I was comfortable at the property and no surprises fortunately.

The staff was wonderful from the start. Victoria was especially helpful in every way, especially with us arriving at the hotel much earlier than the check in time. She accommodate us as soon as possible and upgraded us to a room with a beautiful wrap around balcony for our 1 week stay. We are so grateful for the entire staff, keeping us safe, comfortable and allowing us to have a memorable experience! Can't wait to see you all again!

The staff were all exceptionally kind and helpful. We stayed in the one-person bedrooms, as we were traveling just quickly for work. The rooms were much more spacious than I had imagined, with plenty of room to walk around and a big closet. Comfy bed and great air conditioning system that cooled down the room well.

To be honest the room needed a refresh. It just felt a bit tired and I would not say it felt like a 4* hotel with the way things had aged as well as the finishings and ammenities. However, maybe this is just for the one person rooms. And I will say the room was clean!

Air con worked brilliantly, black out curtains worked well, beds were super comfortable, provided with clean towels whenever needed, staff very friendly and extremely helpful, really close to two convenient metro stops including place de Clichy which is great for connecting lines. Loads of bars and restaurants near by - but not near enough to be loud. Just absolutely perfect!

Genuinely nothing I had an issue with, and if I ever did the staff were so helpful I’m sure they’d get it sorted quickly

The location of the hotel is perfect to visit Paris and especially the "Basilique du Sacré-Cœur". Several metro stations around, very convenient. The staff was very helpful and friendly. A particular "thank you" to the Hotel Manager. She was very kind,, always here to help and answer our questions. We did appreciate very much the complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby, very nice touch with good products. Also, I'd recommend the local restaurants on that same street, one on the number 88, where you can make and order your own salad and other fresh products. Thank you.
