Brilliant location, small room as expected but you get what you pay for. Staff very helpful and moved us to first floor as we had children and luggage.

We all got spots from bed bugs though which isn't good.

The room is slightly small but was absolutely fine for what we needed for a few nights. There are a lot of stairs if you're on the top floor but I'm sure you could ask to be on a lower floor, again, wasn't a problem for us.

Perfect location, walking distance to two Metro stations, near the river and two isles. It is located in a lively part of the city. The proprietor Monsieur Zeroual is friendly and helpful. He delivered an important message as soon as I walked in the door.

The only drawback is the street noise and sidewalk drilling.

The room was big enough for my family . Location is perfect you are close to metro station line 1 this line take you to most important places in paris. To be honest this hotel for family is perfect I don't know the other rooms how they look like.

We were in the second floor the stairs is not big problem but I think when your stay in the 3,4,5 floor you will hate going up stairs after long day in paris

The rooms were worn down. For example the tiles in the bathroom were broken, the doorknob was loose, and the door made a noise when opening and closing. Things that should be easy to fix, but which aren’t.

We didn't have big demands since we were only staying for a couple of days so the hotel was absolutely perfect for our stay. The location is perfect and the room was clean and tidy. There is also cleaning service every day and we were pleasently surprised. Definitely would recommend if you're traveling on a budget. Great value for money.

The gentlemen at the reception was absolutely fantastic: very nice and helpful. We traveled as a family of 4 with 2 young children, and very heavy luggage. Without asking, he changed us from the highest floor to a lower one, that was really sweet! There is no lift because this is an old and gorgeous building. The room was comfy, clean, and quiet. The bathroom was small but convenient. The hotel is a short taxi ride from Gare de Lyon, and a couple of minutes walks from metro stations Bastille and Saint Paul. There are cafes and restaurants nearby. Very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel! We will return there if we ever have to stay in Paris again!

When we booked the place it just had fair reviews but the concerns of the guests were not a problem for us, ie no lift, small rooms etc. Recent reviews gave very low scores with major concerns; therefore we were somewhat worried before we checked in. As we entered the room we were very pleasantly surprised. The room was a decent size, clean, had a comfortable bed, great view and wonderful new bathroom. The location was perfect and we feel Le Marais is a wonderful neighbourhood. We would very much like to return to Sully Hotel.

We did not have any real concerns; however this is a budget hotel. The room would probably be quite warm in summer and the walls were a bit thin. There was quite a bit of outside noise but we were on an upper floor and the windows were a good quality so when closed they eliminated most of the noise.

The location and the area was very good. Metro is very well connected to the center.

You have to leave the keys of your room every time you are going outside of the hotel. The reception closes at 3am until 6am. For us it was a surprise because we didn’t know anything about this.
