This hotel has an amazing location! It is perfect for accessing the Marais (food, shopping, nightlife) as well as the Seine and Latin Quarter too. The historic side streets were lovely to explore and this hotel is on a quiet street - super close to the action, but not noisy at all. Even though our room was on the ground floor, it was totally peaceful. Other good things were the helpful staff, the decor (romantic ... but classy, not overdone) and the cleanliness and comfort of the room. Good air-con too, very useful in an August heatwave.

Nothing.

Location and neighborhood amazing. Friendly helpful staff. Room was fairly comfortable. And the hotel was peaceful. Towel heater was a nice touch.

Nothing was a deal breaker - it was because it was a charming old building. I know you know this - the elevator is very tiny and was extremely hot inside when I took it. It doesnt go to all the floors and you have to lug your bags up and down stairs. Stairs were not always level - it made me a little uneasy taking them - thought I may fall. Door is always open, so staff needs to pay attention to prevent non guest/riff raff from coming in. Not that I really saw any.

Superb little hotel in an incredible location. It is right in the Marais, very close to the river, shops, Notre Dame, etc, and it is right next to the picturesque Place des Vosges (and Victor Hugo's house, which is free to go inside). It was particularly good for visiting All the sights are in walking distance. The staff were all very nice, accommodating, and have far better English than my French! They let you leave suitcases there before check in and after check out, which is really helpful. The rooms are small but have everything you need in them, including a safe, hairdryer, plenty of sockets, etc. In the reception there is a coffee machine and a water fountain you can use any time. I didn't book breakfast but it looked good from what I saw. Overall this far exceeded my expectations based on the price I paid.

it is a lovely typical Parisian hotel with an excellent location. the staff was wonderful. my family enjoyed their stay here. it was more expensive than I usually pay in Paris but we were pressed for time and I chose the hotel for its excellent location. I especially liked a couple of the restaurants on the Rue St Antoine, which served authentic French cuisine. there is a cathedral; Saint Paul de Vincent which is also on the Rue st Antoine. it is plain on the outside but the interior is stunning. worth going in for a peek. I have been to paris many times but this trip I discovered a new area that I really loved. I would highly recommend this hotel. booking.com provided a taxi for my daughter’s family from Charles de Gaulle airport. that was a hundred dollar perk for us. additionally, their room was ready at noon; a real treat for a family just arrived after the long plane trip.

The room decor was great, bathroom spacious, the staff was incredibly friendly. Great location in Le Marais. My 4 year old daughter was not feeling well and several members of staff offered help, and even offered to go to the pharmacy for me. They asked everyday how she was feeling. So nice !

The walls are very thin and the room was noisy but they did tell me it was located on the ground floor. If i had to book again i’d choose a room upstairs.

Excellent location in a very nice part of the city. Three metro stations close by, walking distance from Notre Dame and Latin Quarter. Very clean and tidy. Comfortable beds. Air conditioning - a godsend during July heatwave. Staff very nice.

Dining area very small. A loud noise at night in the room (air con, lift?). When we mentioned this to the person on duty they simply said no-one had complained before and did nothing about it. Breakfast was adequate. Rates we paid on booking.com were higher than if we'd gone direct. I expected something a little bigger and a little grander based on the photos and the price, but overall we had a very nice stay.

The location is perfect. Every staff of the hotel smiling, asking if you need anything. You feel safe and secure. Coffee is ready at the reception area all the time, and serving delicious cakes and detox water complimentary was a big plus for coffee lovers like me. Rooms are clean, cosy and so quite and comfortable. Manager of the hotel Ms. Celia is an angel and makes every effort to make you feel happy. So it deserves the Happyculture brand with great people who are helping you all the time with a big smile.

The staff were very nice and helpful. Hotel is centrally located to several metro stations. The facilities were great. Located right next to Monoprix so you can easily pick up anything that you’ve forgotten or a quick snack if needed.

The only minor downside is that you need to take a flight of stairs to the elevator. Normally, that is not a problem, but if you’re traveling with the elderly, it is something to consider.

It is a very small Parisien hotel, with a creaky lift and "interesting" decor but the staff were exceptional, friendly and helpful, printing tickets and organising taxis. The breakfastt was simple but the food was great with good cheese and fresh orange juice - so nice after processed stuff in other hotels. The windows opened!

The decor in my room and on the stairs was French 1970's, dark purple and silver stripes. The hand wash in the bathroom was above head height and the toilet flush took up much of the shelf for toiletries. I'm sure these small things were just a legacy from previous owners.
