I absolutely loved everything of this hotel! It’s rated as a 3 stars hotel, but I definitely think it deserves a 4 stara rating! Both the men we met at the reception during our stay were incredibly kind, friendly, professional and welcoming. The hotel is in the heart of le Marais, close to place des Vosges and to Musée Picasso, place de la Bastille and canal Saint-Martin; but it’s also a few minute walk away from Pompidou, hotel de Ville, Notre Dame and Saint Germain. I had never stayed in this area before, but I must admit it’s a very cosy, posh, cool and tactical one! Hotel rooms in Paris are tiny, not as wide and spacious as the ones we are used to in Italy: nevertheless, our room was very well organized and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay! Bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable! I have traveled to Paris several times and also lived there twice in 2015 and 2017, but I have never stayed in a hotel/apartment as clean as this hotel is. It was impeccable! At our arrival we found a cotton shopping bag on the bed alongside with some customized biscuits au beurre, a very needed bottle of water and some amazing beauty products by Nuxe! I felt so spoiled! Wifi works 100% very well! Definitely coming back! ❤️

Wonderful Hotel in a wonderful location. We were a party of 4 staying in 2 rooms. Leaving the key every time we left was definitely NOT a problem nor did we feel it was an inconvenience to the staff (as a previous reviewer wrote). The 24hour/per day staffing by the gentlemen hosts in the front room is an amazing element of Les Tournelles. The timing of our stay allowed us to get to know Carlos the best. Carlos always made us feel welcome as he answered our questions and provided guidance about many aspects of the local neighbourhood, restaurant recommendations, etc. The cozy lounge where we could have some down time and a glass of wine in the early evening after a long day of walking and before going out for dinner was a lovely amenity. The ladies in the breakfast room were always friendly & accommodating with morning coffee. The cleaning staff did a wonderful job every day in freshening our rooms and keeping the entire hotel sparkling and inviting. We WILL return to Les Marais and Les Tournelles very soon.

Recently and stylishly refurbished in a good location for the Marais. Quiet street, and lovely sitting room area with honesty bar and complimentary tea/ coffee facilities with daily freshly made cake

Rooms and clothes space are small and we had issue with initially not being ‘ allowed’ 2 keys and told we had to hand the one key in every time we went out- felt as if we were back at school, but we got this sorted in the end. The Marais is lovely, not so convenient an area for Louvre, Musee d’Orsay etc but good museums nearby and a lovely area for restaurants/ shopping, with a local neighbourhood feel.

staff appeared off handed and although greeted all clients seemed more concerned with their computers. also I was harassed by a Carlos to pay my account before arrival when Booking.com had specifically noted that I would pay upon arrival. he kept on threatening that the booking was under threat if not paid. he kept on saying in the messages that a payment link had been sent but was never received. found this very unprofessional regardless we had a wonderful time

Location in Paris was good, only 10-minute walk to Notre Dame. The breakfast was very good. The staff were all very nice and very helpful (good dinner recommendations and taxi reservation). Very good restaurants in the neighborhood.

The rooms and bathroom are small by American standards but the hotel was very authentic in all regards. The elevator is very small but the staircase is charming, although winding and steep.

Beautiful hotel in Le Marais district, just around the corner from Place des Vosges and a few minutes walk (5-8mins) from Saint Paul metro stop. Staff were very professional and friendly. Breakfast was downstairs in the cellar (nicely furnished) and had a good selection of cold meats, cheese, fruit salad, cereals, croissants, bread etc. Nicely decorated bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and hope to return! We dined at Le Petit Marche and L'Ange 20 restaurants (approx. 4-5 mins walk from the hotel) and really enjoyed our meals at both restaurants (book in advance!).

Excellent facility for tea time in the "salon". Staff was professional and service minded. Elevator was moody but mighty useful if you have limited mobility in the stairs. Location is in the "middle of everything". Weirdly enough, Johnny Depp (he is living in the same street) did not recognize my husband!

nothing really..oh ya..the safe is messed up..does not want to open...needs special help..So do not use the safe.

The location and convenience of this property is second to none! The rooms are clean, tidy and just what we needed for our short stay in Paris. Easy to find, staff were superb very friendly upon every request! Thank you to maids also.

I don't like to say I didn't like it but I would have preferred if there was an extractor fan in the bathroom. There isn't so the bathroom gets extremely fogged and steamy quick so we had to leave the door and windows open to air the room.

We would certainly return and recommend. Quality and layout of room; range and quality of breakfast; location; maintenance - everything worked; cleanliness; afternoon tea much appreciated after long city days out; availability of staff on the desk 24 hours

Overall, these are minor issues - Odd refusal to give us both a key - meant we had to prop open the door sometimes; breakfast room quite small (get down early !); and large (for size of hotel) noisy tour group dominated small breakfast room (probably we were just unlucky)

The hotel was located in a convenient and lovely part of Paris. The staff were very friendly and happy to assist with our questions. The breakfast was nice and the lady serving us was lovely and welcoming. Room was kept very clean and the furnishings and ambience of the hotel was very nice and pleasant. Air conditioning was good to have and appreciated the complimentary bag, biscuits and oil. Nice extra touch.
