The room was very clean and stylish, and in a great location - only a short walk down to some great bars, bakeries and shops, and a lovely walk to Petite France. The staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. They happily turned on the sauna outside of the regular times for us, which is a great facility of the hotel, super luxurious and clean! The bathroom was also very clean and I loved the shower, and fluffy robes are always a plus! I would definitely stay at Hotel D again.

If you are someone who likes softer beds and pillows, like me, the beds may be a tad uncomfortable for you. They are also quite short - feet were hanging off the end of the bed for one of us. That was the only thing I didn't like.

Location and nice room

The room we requested with a convertible sofa was not available. Not a deal breaker but it was tight sleeping with our 3 year old daughter in one bed. The room we were assigned was also next to the garage. There was a constant flow of traffic in and out with the door slamming shut, which was a little annoying. Parking is also an issue. we arrived later in the evening and the parking garage was full. we parked at a local shopping mall just a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. Not a big deal but a little annoying to find out that at 9pm you will need to locate a mall and then walk back to your hotel.

Very welcoming staff, who went out of their ways to help customers have a good experience (we asked for a kettle and boiled water which were immediately brought to the room, shortly before our arrival we were called to make sure of what's needed in each room as we had booked several rooms at the same time). The rooms were squeaky clean and had all the necessary, and the location of the hotel is 5-10min away from the very center of Strasbourg.

When there is a continental breakfast, there should be more plates easily accessible. With one small plate, I need to get up too often from the table to refill my plate, moreover, it's not really according to etiquette to be coming back to the table with food with dirty plate The variety of pastries could be better

The hotel was close to the centre and we parked outside the hotel on the road as we had a roof box. The hotel was modern and comfortable. Justine on reception couldn’t have been more helpful, booking us a restaurant for 9 of us at short notice. We had a lovely breakfast early on Sunday morning so we could get on the road to head back to the uk. Strasbourg was a beautiful city and we really enjoyed our stay.

We did have a very noisy guest in the room above us who came in in the early hours. Not the hotels fault

Hotel is moderne, is not far from ghe centre if cité. Breakfast is found in small room and it is need to schedule your time fof it, but was good. Reception stuff was good beside the parking.

Parking is very expensive, 25 euro for a night. The stuff gave the code from parking only when we were left the hotel.Before that 3 days we had to wait some minutes and run to reception for opening the parking

We dropped by for a very last minute booking late in the evening. We were helped by a most friendly woman who made us feel very welcome. The room was very clean, it had ice cold air conditioning, the bed was good (only a little short if you’re 1,90m haha, but that’s a universal issue for us). There was a private parking available, which was great as well. Location was good, in a quiet area of the city.

The hotel is well situated and the rooms were really great with very nicely equipped, large bathrooms. Even if we didn't make use of it, the mini bar was well stocked up with a variety of goods.

We were unfortunate that, due to heavy rain the night before our arrival, the lifts were not in working order and we had to walk up to our fifth floor rooms (no fault of the hotel team though ;-)

Normally i don’t do this kind of feedbacks but this one was amazing and i just have to write this. Besides of the very beautiful hotel i was amazed by Emil, he was one of the employees there. I travel a lot and by a lot i mean i sleep more in hotels than in my own bed. And it’s rare to see a cool guy like Emil. Very helpful and friendly, i was amazed. Mostly because of him, i will come again for sure when i get the opportunity. A beautiful hotel with great breakfast and great employees. Simple and cool. That’s how it’s supposed to be. Keep up the good work and greetings to Emil.

- a perfect location at the city center - friendly and professional stuff and service - clean and well-equipped rooms - quiet place - nice to have a sauna, would be too small if the hotel would be full

- the hotel looks somehow a bit impersonal - the breakfast was very basic with very few local products (some yoghurts and cheeses) - unclear access to the garage from the hotel - in my opinion too pricy compared to my other experiences
