This is a awesome hotel! You would pay hundreds of euros/pounds a night for something like this in a western European hotel. A fabulous old building that has been carefully restored with a lovely large central courtyard (the serving of drinks and the background music is stopped around 10pm so residents are not disturbed after this time although the room windows are very well glazed and sealed anyhow). The reception is lovely and all the staff are delightful and very helpful and polite (if sitting when you speak to them they stand up which is very respectful). Our room was superb - large, airy and with all the facilities you would expect and a big clean modern bathroom. The bed was also large and very comfortable. Breakfast was really excellent with lovely fresh foods and plenty of it, and delicious omlets and eggs were cooked to order. It is located a few minutes walk from the main square (freedom square) which has a metro station, and it is an easy walk into the old town (about 10 minutes). All around are nice cafes and bars too. One of the best hotels I have stayed in and remarkable value for money (and I've stayed in hundreds around the world).

"Makmani Hotel is situated in a prime tourism location, particularly near Liberty Square. We discovered numerous excellent restaurants, shopping malls, souvenir shops, and our pickup and drop-off point for city tours was conveniently close. Each day, a nearby bus stop allowed us to easily board and disembark for our city tours."

Actually, there are no particular dislikes, but I would like to suggest offering the option for guests to check in early if rooms are available, particularly for those with early morning flights who might be fatigued. After a lengthy discussion, they permitted us to check in early with half-day charges. Interestingly, upon check-out after 7 days, they didn't apply the half-day charge for the early check-in.

Medicare breakfast. it was highly overrated on the website, and photos don’t match with what one actually gets.

Great location - 5 min walk to Liberty Square, short walking distance to many tourist attractions, many good restaurants in the direct vicinity (1-2 min walk). There's also a nice restaurant in the hotel itself if you are not up to going out. The breakfast was nice - a good choice, very tasty, had both local & basic international options and you can order the eggs the way you like. The room was very clean and spacious, we got new bottles of water every day, which was a nice addition, as we drink A LOT of water :).

Nothing to dislike. The restaurant is located inside the patio and our room was facing it. The music played in the evenings (till about 10-11 pm), but it was to our taste and when we closed the window - it was barely heard and was not a disturbance. We weren't bothered by it, but maybe this is something to take into account when selecting a room.

We came early, around 8 AM as the initial hotel we booked did not accommodate us, however, with Makmani, they let us have an early check-in & did not even ask us to pay upfront. This hotel is really beautiful, elegant in a unique way & if you love taking photos, this is a good place to do so. The aesthetic design is superb, the rooms are big & everything is clean. All the staff here are super friendly, well accommodating & whenever you need something, they are always willing to help. Special thank you to Dimitry in the reception for the warm welcome & even packed us a lunch box on our checkout. I am coming back to Tbilisi & will for sure book into Makmani Hotel & of course, I'll definitely recommend this to all of my friends

We didn't appreciate being woken up by a very intoxicated couple who decided to sit out on the communal terrace area around 0500 in the morning and have a very loud conversation. We tried to ask them politely to lower their tone, but this fell on deaf ears and then we had to ask Reception to intervene at least three times before they eventually left the area and went back to their room. This was a big negative during our stay, which entirely falls to this inconsiderate couple. The hotel has now put measures in place so this will not happen again to other guests. Breakfast could do with changes each day, especially the food that is put out on the communal table as this tends to be exactly the same every day.

The room was spacious, confortable, clean and we appreciated the daily new coffee capsules for the coffee machine. The hotel is very well located, walking distance from the main touristic spots of Tbilissi and very nice restaurants and pubs. We enjoyed the hotel's courtyard with music and drinks. The staff was very kind, friendly and helpful (in particular with street parking - more on the improvements). Would definitely advise if you want a GE hotel in the city center!

While we enjoyed breakfast, we feel it misses diversity and some even local options. More can be added and improved. The street parking is quite difficult if you don't have a local bank card/account. Not to get into much detail, but the staff was very helpful to find solutions even putting themselves available to help at any time. Thanks!

Rooms are spacious, clean, quiet. Beds are most comfortable, and the whole room has nice interior design. Location is perfect, highly recommend this area. Had to leave early on our last day to catch a train, they very kindly provided us with a packed breakfast :) Courtyard is lovely, especially to have breakfast. The Georgian breakfast dish was tasty too. Highly recommend this hotel! Staff are friendly and helpful too, speak good English.

Nothing of importance, but to get to top marks it would need slightly more attention to details. We didn't have towels on arrival, but it got fixed straight away. Tap hot and cold sides were switched around. No tissues in the room. And the first day they had herbal tea, but when I asked for it the following day the server looked at me with confusion saying they never stock herbal tea...
