We checked in without any problems and the staff member on-duty was very attentive and friendly. We asked about how to get into the city centre and she gave us good advice on using the public transportation, or how to get there on foot. The room was a good size, clean and tidy, as was the bathroom. The air-conditioner could have been a bit stronger, but it was OK. The breakfast was very good. Lots of choice, as well as some very good coffee. Very enjoyable.

To be honest, everything was fine and I can't complain about much. However, I would say that calling the room before checkout time the next day was a bit annoying. I think I was running a couple of minutes late and I got the feeling that they were chasing us out the door.

Hotel staff very helpful particularly when our flights were cancelled for our return journey, they managed to book us in for another 2 nights even though it was short notice.

We booked the rooms on booking.com and breakfast was not included, when we checked in we advised staff that we wished to have breakfast and we understood there was a charge, we also advised the breakfast staff that we wanted to have breakfast but unfortunately this caused a lot of confusion particularly with one member of staff. I have now booked again for July but no breakfast is included, who do I need to inform on arrival?

It is a very normal Best Western hotel. The location is good - very close to the city center and a not far (on foot) from the main station. I have to say thanks to one of the staff members who helped with all my questions during my stay.

The hotel looks and feels like a time travel... they do things in a very old-fashioned way - the rooms, the keys and the very slow computer at the reception seem to be stuck in a time machine of 20-30 years ago. :-) That doesn't mean it's bad. It just means it seems old.

A serviceable, no frills hotel in a useful location just a few steps away from the historical centre. My room was comfortable and had an excellent view over the roofs of the town. Breakfast was good

There is no lift from the 5th to the 6th floor. Reception didn't mention this and I might have needed help with my luggage. Perhaps I look younger than I am! There were always queues in the coffee/juice area of the breakfast buffet. Perhaps an extra coffee machine?

The room was clean and I loved the coffee and tea they provided in our room. The location was right next to the old town and approximately 15 mins walk from the central station. There was a supermarket in the next building and a lot of cafes and bakeries nearby.

The towels were prepared only for 1 person even we booked for 2 people and the cleaning person came in before checking out while we were still in the room in the morning.

The room was well furnished, large enough and clean. The breakfast was good and varied. The hotel is located in the city center, so it is very suitable for visiting Augsburg.

The main problem was the access to the hotel by car. A special label (a "green stick") is required to reach the hotel by car. We were informed by the hotel that this stick was needed, but not how to obtain it. At the reception we were given the address where they provide the green stick for German cars, but this address was not good for us. We found out then that we had to go at the TUV SUD service center, Oskar von Miller Strasse 17. That made us waste half a day and was rather annoying.

Room was perfect for larger family.Location is excellent, short walk to town centre for shopping., Plenty of cafes, bakers, restaurants within a short walking distance.It really suited us perfectly.

Parking availability in front of the hotel, and having to pay for parking as a resident.There is a multi-story car park just around the corner, which is more expensive.

Great Hotel, one very nice employee, she gave us some informations and was very polite. Good room, big, good location.

There was this employee, he was very suspicious of us, we felt weird and judged. He even crossed out from the Formular that was saying that we lived in Germany because he thought we did not, I know where I live and after I was more firm he stopped bothering us since he was not even the one doing our check in. Not once I felt uncomfortable having interactions with Germans, he was not even German and made us feel not welcome. Super weird but this did not ruined our trip.

We stayed in two different rooms the first had a tiny bathroom and it’s the only reason to give it a 9, the second room was fantastic, beds, bathroom cleanliness, and comfort. I would only adjust the matter of tea and coffee. Our family makes an effort to conserve energy and be kind to housekeeping by having our room clean every other day, but we would’ve liked to have the tea refilled everday

The helpfulness and friendliness of the staff! Herr Christian-Mark Schörzinger-Schober was especially helpful to me during my entire stay!

It was disappointing that there is no longer an in-house restaurant to enjoy lunch or dinner, when one doesn't want to leave the hotel to eat!
