Great location to visit the tourist areas. Really comfortable rooms with a good air conditioner and fridge in each room as well as a Super Nintendo game system which was a nice bonus. Included breakfast had a great spread of food and beverage options. Configuration of the room was a bit odd with two single beds length-wise in the room but understandable due to how they've had to work around the historic building the hotel is in.

Street traffic was a touch loud but with the window closed it was barely noticeable.

The location was perfect to explore old town Bamberg. The boutique hotel is in an old building but the facilities were all modern. A lift for luggage and tired legs was much appreciated although the beautiful old timber staircase was a delight to use also. The decor was lovely. Breakfast served in the modern hotel restaurant was excellent and generous - both inside and outdoor dining on offer and a great start to the day.

We stayed in a suite and were very happy with the space — bathroom was clean and updated. and the bed was very comfortable. Person working the front desk was SO kind and helpful, going above and beyond by taking 10 minutes to pull out a map of Bamberg and draw on it pointing out places of interest and walking routes. We were very appreciative of the kindness!!

Breakfast was good, but considering they have a restaurant onsite I wish it would be a larger spread with more warm food options (granted, that’s coming from an American, we gathered on our trip that typical German breakfasts are cold and simple foods, and from the people we encountered at breakfast and around Bamberg it seemed the area had mostly German tourists)

gorgeous property in the heart of the city. Easy walking to all of the sites. We had two rooms one for my husband and I and one for our teenage children. The rooms were very modern and well equipped. The hotel is tucked away, but in the middle of everything.

The reception is closed from noon until two which they do let you know ahead of time. It was just challenging to drop our bags when we arrived to town but not that big of a deal. We were able to leave our bags at checkout and the coffee shop was able to retrieve them for us during that time.

Loved the location! Beautiful, old building with renovated, updated facility. Lived the communication with the tablet if you needed anything. Nice breakfast.

Elevator - kaput from time to time. Would like to be able to borrow a hot pot from the front desk to make a cup of tea if possible. Very little that was not like able here.

Great spot in the center of Bamberg. We were able to walk to restaurants and sites from our location. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet. We were there during a hot spell and the air conditioned rooms felt amazing. We also enjoyed the open patio for breakfasts and late night drinks. We did not have dinner there, but after looking at the menu I regretted that decision.

Great location, nice room, very comfy bed, nice bathroom. Nice café restaurant next door in courtyard where breakfast is served.

we had a view of the narrow courtyard which is ok for a night. It was very noisy in the morning someone dragging rattling metal carts across the pavement.

I cannot rave enough about this hotel. It is a rare gem! I would go back here again and again. Set in the old part of the town, it was never destroyed in the war, it is beyond beautiful. I didn't have enough time to explore the town but I would recommend this hotel most definitely. It is clean, perfectly position, decorated very tastefully, and the breakfast is beyond amazing! I would score this place 11/10 and more!

Location and staff were so lovely and the breakfast each morning was perfect!

The apartment we were in had a lot of low beams, kind of like an attic which made getting around the beds, especially at night, difficult and resulted in a few head bumps! :)

This is a wonderful small hotel in the heart of Bamberg, in walking distance to all the major sights of this beautiful and historic town. We had a suite with high ceilings and an old wooden floor. Breakfast is being served in the courtyard. Many restaurants are minutes away. The staff was very helpful and friendly. If we return to Bamberg, we will be back.

The reception is only open in the morning and afternoon, which makes check-in and -out a little tricky.
