We had a family suite with an outdoor balcony. It was spacious with a seating area and a bedroom. Balcony afforded a nice view of the area. Bed was very comfortable. Couch also converted to a bed. Room included a small refrigerator. Location was very central to everything. Hop On/Off bus location was a couple of blocks away. Checkpoint Charlie was about three blocks. Several good restaurants near by for breakfast and dinner. Very walkable location to most things if you dont mind walking 15 -20 minutes.

Bedroom area was large, but had no place to put your suitcase. The closet area was off the entry hall. Would have been nice if they added a bench in the bedroom area to place your suitcase. Also would be nice if they added a couple of hooks in the blank wall to hang items. Again, because the closet area was through the seating area near the entry hall. That said, it was a wonderful room. The lack of a bedroom location for a suitcase was only a minor inconvenience.

While in Berlin, NH Collection was for us, a colourful company of four females, our home away from home. We were welcomed in a warm and helpful manner by all the staff, though with a warning with a wink to not outdo the rowdy men from the weekend before. Not entirely sure if we managed, but we tried to keep the decibels of our shenanigans to a minimum. We also really appreciated the free candy on the reception counter, which was our breakfast or dinner for many times. Concerning the rooms, there aren’t really any complaints. Some got to enjoy the comfort of them more than others due to having to get down with the sickness, but we all had a marvelous time. The beds were outstanding, and the complementary coffee and water were utter life savers after diving into the dark and sweaty techno bunkers, returning home, looking like drowned stray cats, questioning the meaning of life. We also want to do a special shout-out to Frau Strauss, who helped us out amazingly, as well as the two lovely people working the graveyard shift on Sunday night, who had to deal with half of our company haunting the hotel hallways. This brings us to the first floor, which deserves an honourable mention, since all four of us made special memories there. So special, it deserves a poem, which goes as follows: Ode To The First Floor The mother mended The suffering scions One of rocks, one of flow The Sitzfleisch cradled The mentor moved The rowdy rascals Together, bringing about The birth of a zonked Athena Behind golden curtains Of conference.

The staff were very friendly on arrival, explained everything and actually gave me a different room when i asked for a room away from the lift. I loved the idea of a free drink if you didn't have your room cleaned each day - great idea. The breakfast was fabulous! Lots of choice and a lot of variety, drink wise too. The bar area was nice and modern and the addition of the piano player was a nice touch. It was Women's Day while I was there and on that day there was a table with a message and free Roses for us to take one. It was these person touches that made me really like this hotel and I would certainly stay in this chain again.

I cant think of anything to say i didn't like.

Location was great for walking to local sightseeing and Christmas Markets. Staff was attentive and effective when problems were made known. Room was spacious and clean.

When I arrived it was clear the dishes in the room had only been wiped down from the previous guest, had to clean/steralize, no free water in the room, asked the house cleaning staff for more coffee pods and they said thas was "mini bar" and didn't have any to replace. The free drink card if you forego room service is nice, but they give 2 for double occupancy and one for a single- I'm paying the SAME price, stop doing this to single travelers, give them both if the standard is 2 per room. Bed was comfortable enough but not quite soft enough. There was an issue with the bathroom plumbing 2nd day which was dealt with quickly.

The bed was very comfortable and room temperature easily modified. A good size room as well. The breakfast buffet offer was excellent with a vast array of filling/healthy/indulgent breakfast foods. The location was ideal for the few days I had planned. Mainly visiting art museums and other sites. A voucher for a free drink was provided as I didn’t think ‘cleaning’ the room daily on a four night stay was necessary, this provided me with a warming hot chocolate after a freezing cold day of walking in the city, just perfect. It was easily reached on public transport from the airport.

The lighting level made reading in bed almost impossible for older eyes. The ‘bedside’ light wasn’t on a long enough flex being positioned where it was to enable me to shine the light on a book.

Great location close to shopping, places to eat and transport links. Amazing breakfast buffet with lots of choice, everything you could possibly want. Staff gave us a quieter room overlooking the interior of the building when we asked. There is a bar and restaurant but in the evening it did not have much of an atmosphere.

Our first room was at the front of the building and the traffic noise was quite intrusive. I woke several times due to noisy lorries and emergency sirens. I even checked the windows thinking they must be slightly open. We moved rooms, problem solved. Ask for an courtyard facing room if you need quiet to sleep.

My stay at NH Collection Berlin Mitte am Checkpoint Charlie was absolutely wonderful! The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the housekeeping staff ensured everything was fresh and tidy every day. The beds were incredibly comfortable, providing a perfect night’s sleep after a long day of exploring. The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional, always ready to assist with a smile. Their warm and welcoming attitude made me feel truly valued as a guest. Additionally, the hotel’s location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions, restaurants, and public transport. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I will definitely be coming back!

Location is very good, we walked everywhere we wanted to go. Rooms were clean. They offer drinks at the bar if you skip room/turnover service, which is nice as we usually don't like people going into our room anyways. Breakfast buffet is very good, with lots of options, freshest honey you can find straight from the comb, omeletes made fresh to order, all kinds of pastires, breads, cereal, youghgurts, cheeses, smoked salmon, english, you name it. Spa is fantastic. Hottest sauna we have been to (we didn't dare splashing water on it and sauna is nothing new to us), also another milder one for relaxing (no stones) and then a steam bath. Very good facilities.

The only "negative" thing I could say is that maybe that the shower head and hose in our room had run their course, so it did not feel as "premium" as the rest. But still nothing to complain about. And just as a heads up, there are basicly no "international" channels on tv except for a few news channels (everything else is dubbed) but this was to be expected as it is the norm in the country, so expect to watch some shows on your own devices if you feel like watching something before bed. Don't worry, the free wifi is fine for streaming. This was no issue for us as we just watched some sport channels.

Good location, in walking distance to some tourist tourist attractions. Room was a good size with mirrors and enough plugs! Staff friendly.

Check in and out is slow, we had a room on the 6th floor and it was very noisy. It usually doesn't bother me, but this was extremely loud from the traffic and sirens going past. Ceiling had a whole in, in the bathroom. Breakfast was okay. We stayed in 3 hotels during our week away, and this one was the most expensive but probably the least impressive.

The hotel was well located, right near U Stadtmitte, and a pleasant walk to Checkpoint Charlie, the Mall of Berlin, and pretty much central to so many museums etc. The restaurant was set up nicely to watch the Euro Soccer

I asked for a twin bed but got the King. I asked for a shower and got a bath. There was only one set of slippers and robe in the room when there was two of us. I don't think there is much care in the cleaning as there should be. The hotel was a bit expensive for what I got but then the UEFA Euro 2024 might have driven up the prices.
