Hotel Gat Point Charlie is wonderfully located in central Berlin, close to Checkpoint Charlie and Stadtmitte U-Bahn station. All the top Berlin tourist sights are within walking distance. I had a comfortable double room with a nice bathroom that had a good shower. One of the best things about the hotel is the excellent choice at the all-you-can-eat breakfast, with cooked food, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, pastries, various breads, meats, cheeses, jams and cakes on offer, along with coffee, tea, juices etc. Also, you can choose when to have your room cleaned and the cleaners do an outstanding job.

A little hard to work out the lighting; I found the various light sources and switches a bit tricky at first. Sometimes I just wanted to turn off the lights and found other lights coming on instead - worked it out eventually!

I loved that the hotel is in the middle of the city. It is very close to the subway systems and is very close to some of the touristic places. I stayed at a single person room. It is a small room but it it provides basic human needs. I mean if you came to Berlin you should not stay at the hotel all day :D. Room was clean and smelled nice. Not much complaints

There was no fridge in the room. Even a small one. That being said the room was small and i am suprised they could even fit a bed and a desk in it in the first place. If you are staying in a one person room like i did i recomend to not stay in the hotel in daytime, go out and have fun. Because there isn't much to do inside the room. Berlin is a very culturaly rich city and you should see it while you visit.

The room was immaculate and innovative; the facilities user-friendly and the staff did their very best to help us feel welcome, including correcting an error I made in booking an extra night for a previous night. One particular receptionist gave us a very personal touch and I was sorry I didn't get to say 'thank you' before leaving. We loved the breakfast room and the smorgasbord food was really plentiful as well as enjoyable.

As we had to change rooms for the above-mentioned error on our part in booking, I was disappointed to see that each floor was not serviced by an 'in-corridor' coffee/tea/vending machine facility. I felt it was a good idea rather than have it in room. I am not sure why. The floor where the second room was located only had a vending machine.

Everything was perfect, helpful and friendly staff, clean and very comfortable rooms, excellent location, great value for money. We were fortunate enough to have air conditioning and a kettle and fridge in our room but probably because I booked a suite, my daughter next door had no kettle or fridge which was wasn't ideal but we still liked the rooms. Would definitely recommend this hotel and we were very sad to leave Berlin! 😊

The best thing was the location of the hotel, just near Checkpoint Charlie. The breakfast was excellent and all the staff members were very helpful. It is definitely worth upgrading to a larger room with a small lounge area.

There was no extra blanket in the room, and as it was quite cool when we were there, it would have been good to have had another blanket. They told me at Reception that they normally can help, but there were no blankets left. Also, there was a skylight, but we didn't realise you could use a remote control to close it!

The only thing was that when we left our bags for luggage storage after checkout, the receptionist put it in a room where some managers were having a meeting. When I needed to pick up my bus ticket that I had accidentally left in one of my bags, she got annoyed at me and was telling me to just "have a coffee and wait" but she didn't know how much longer it was going on for. I would have been fine with this but she seemed angry at me for needing to access my bag, when it wasn't my fault that it was in there...

The location was great. Right next to Checkpoint Charlie, so I was able to walk everywhere and/or hop onto the train on the corner. Also, safe location. Hotel was very clean. Elevator available. Water pressure in shower was excellent and the bed was comfortable. if you’re a breakfast eater, the breakfast buffet was good. It was open till 10 or 11am. I would stay here again.

It’s not really a complaint, but the lighting in the bathroom was really bad. I would do my hair in the other room. If you wear makeup, you won’t be able to use the bathroom for lighting.

Spacious room (we got the junior suite) which was clean and the bed was comfortable. Fans were provided for comfort. Shower and bathroom was nice and clean too. Perhaps shower area could be smaller to accommodate larger bathroom area. Fantastic location right by checkpoint Charlie we could walk to all the main sights in the city centre and when we did venture out a little bit public transport was easy to get around In the corridor there is a tap with super cold, normal temperature temperature or hot water with cups provided - this was excellent

No air conditioning. Daily high temperatures between 20-24 degrees and it was quite hot at night even with fans provided. A more minor point but a lot of hotels now have USB charging points to make it easier to charge devices. This hotel doesn't and we only had one adapter so could only charge one device at a time (not that big a deal) The lack of air conditioning is reflected in the price Lighting wasn't great and could do with improvement One narrow long mirror + bathroom mirror, could have done with another

Very good location and the 24h desk was great for late check in. The bike rental was also a really nice amenity that more people should take advantage of! The rooms were fine, a bit small but not bad at all. I would definitely stay here again.

Beds and pillows were just a little uncomfy but after spending the whole day walking and biking it wasn’t hard to fall asleep. Also we couldn’t get the AC to work but nothing that couldn’t be solved by opening the window for a few minutes. The showers only come with a 2/1 hair and body gel, so if you need shampoo and conditioner, bring your own.

The location and value of this hotel were truly excellent, such a convenient base for exploring Berlin. The beds were super comfortable, the shower and bathroom facilities were brilliant, and the staff were very friendly and considerate!

The one and only downside was that our room lacked a kettle (something I forgot to check for while booking!). But even so the staff at the restaurant on the ground floor provided us with several cups of hot water when one of our party needed to drink hot lemons for a sore throat:)
