Disappointed that when I had to return to Dublin earlier than planned, cancelling my last night's booking, no refund was possible despite me advising Reception at 8 am that morning. Apparently this was because my booking was made and paid for via Booking.com whereas a refund would have been possible if I had booked directly with the hotel via its own website.

Great location. Breakfast was very good. Service was also great. The hotel is very beautiful. Room was big and very clean.

Coffee is made by automatic machine and no by barista. Not tasty. We wanted to sit in the lobby and eat with our kid something sweet we brought from outside. Although we have ordered coffee from the hotel, they asked us to go to the room or to pay 20 euro for sitting there. I thing it is very rude after we paid 500 euro per night.

Location great. We were out all day so didn't really use any facilities. Concierge helpful with queries by email in advance of our arrival. Really appreciated being able to ask for fresh milk for in-room coffee/tea maker. Also complimentary bottle of mineral water every day. Generally very comfortable.

Breakfast seemed expensive, but there is a great little cafe opposite offering excellent coffee (better than hotel coffee) and continental breakfast options

I like it was clean it was cosy in the room and beautiful. My room was cleaned several times a day. I was given a big bottle of water every day Breakfast was exceptional Personnel at the reception was ok.

I didn’t like that out of all rooms and vacant places I was given the room with the construction view of the back side of the hotel although I booked quite in advance and specifically requested

We traveled for 5 weeks, including 1 on the Queen Mary and this was by far the highlight of the stays. We are used to travel in style, but First Class is the only way to describe the spacious room and the grand hotel. Breakfast alone is an amazing experience with free-flowing champagne. No better way to start the day!

More time there!?!

Beautiful hotel! Staff where beyond perfect, they made our weekend special! The hotel is clean, quiet and perfectly located. The view from our balcony was exceptional and we loved it. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

The staff is very kind and helpful, they have a travel consultant as part of the hotel service, he helped us booking for a concert and museums and advised to plan the day well -train numbers and so-.. everything is clean on a level I have not seen in other hotels. The bed is sooooo comfortable.. Strongly recommend this hotel ;)

Great location with plush very large rooms. Good service.

The suite did not have functioning climate control - the room was too hot and raising the issue several times with staff did not resolve it. The thermostats looked 25+ years old.
