The room was neat and compact. In the kitchen you had all that you needed to make yourself breakfast. The beds were super comfy. The location was good, walking distance from the train station and the old town but still nice restaurants nearby. Self check-in was easy and effortless. Nice terraces outside.

Having no staff around when a too small baby cot was put in our room. The staff was readily available by phone, however, and we could pick up a bigger bed ourselves after we received instructions. Check in procedure was very clear but we didn't get any check out information as we had to leave before the reception's opening hours. However, there was already someone in the reception (maybe because I tried to message them about our early check out?). The pillows were too big.

It was quiet at night, the windows are equipped with blinds againts morning sun. Very good location - just a couple of minutes to a very busy place with lots of food opportunities and Altstadt. You can leave your luggage at the departure day in the hotel and pick-up it in the evening. The personal was very friendly.

The ventilation was not so good, I don't know why. But during the night it was very stuffy (stickig). I had to use the stove ventilation to make it possible to sleep. Most of the hotels suffer from the duche water leackage into the main part of the bathroom, and here I also was not able to keep it dry - the duche doors behave pretty frivolously. And there are not so many hooks in the bathroom some would expect to have a nice stay.

I liked everything! The cleanliness, the facilities and the staff were all great. The location is brilliant, 2 or 3 minutes walk from the start of the pedestrian area in the old city, and on the station side, which means you are also a bit closer to the station. I had access to the property after check out, which meant my suitcase could stay there while I went back into the old city, plus I could sit and relax indoors or outdoors and use a loo before finally leaving Heidelberg. I'm determined to come back to it :)

Nothing really that I didn't like, except maybe have a study lamp on the little table which is against the wall.

Great location, easy walking distance to shops transport attractions. Easy to come and go from the property. Spacious room, with near shared outdoor deck area. Lovely in the evening to see the stars. Kitchenette for meal prep. Lovely cool refrigerator. Wi-Fi ok…a little unstable.

Very hot room. Fan was helpful. Able to open windows in the evening. Probably a great room in the winter, but quite uncomfortable in the warm weather. Might be noisy for some, but I felt familiar with the sound of trams and street activity. This reminded me of home here in Melbourne, Australia.

Great location. Good bakery and shops nearby and short walk to the river and the old town. We walked from the train station and that was 15 mins in the other direction. There is a lift and the bed and shower were good. The room functioned well enough for a very short stay. Other room options would have been better.

We had the room with the dormer windows and steep sloping ceiling and that does limit access to one side of the bed. It is a cheaper room and the compromise in space is significant. One duvet was very heavy and could use renewed.

There is a possibility to park on the street in front of the hotel and there is also a pay point right in front of the door.

There were parts falling off from the shower equipment. Seems like they have been recently glued on and the glue did not stay. The lady from the reception desk had no idea/ was not interested in offering any advice on how paying for the parking works/ the parking automat which stands right in front of the hotel door//, because ''hey, it is not my problem- I only work here''.

A little way from the station, would recommended using the tram. Short walk to the old town. Basic, but adequate room , suitable for a short stay. Heidelberg is an interesting and lovely city. Highly recommend the funacular railway and the museum. No reception service in the afternoon or evening, but key collection arrangements worked. Very helpful and friendly receptionists. Able to store luggage after check out. Well equipped apartment, some provisions provided for a small charge, which was helpful. Easy to get breakfast nearby.

This place is in a really good location, close to Bismarckplatz, where many trams are and the beautiful Altstadt starts. Really practical place with a small kitchen and regular cleaning. Checking in and out is very easy and contact-free.

If you have a lot of heavy luggage and are coming from the main station, I'd recommend taking a taxi to the hotel. The walk would take roughly 15 minutes. The Guesthouse is on a main road and near to tram/bus access, but the stop directly in front isn't serviced super often and the taxi should scarcely cost you a tenner.

Check in is easy through a code. If you like properties where you manage everything on your own without need to deal with a host, this is for you. Location is just outside the historic city center, so it is not the best in town, but a short walk doesn't hurt. The rooms are good size.

The wc was used upon arrival, seems it was skipped during cleaning, although the rest of the room was well cleaned. The TV is in a very low position and remote did not work that well (although we barely used it). An extra pillow is much needed! It is common in Germany to find flat square pillows, but many hotels give you an extra option.

Check-in was easy, i received the informaiton by email and it all went well. so check-out. Location close to the main pedestrian and city center area. No street noise by by-passers like at previous stays down town.
