Great hotel. The location is perfect and even comes with a view of the river (in the room I had). The room itself was also great: clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet (for being next to a bigger street). I traveled for work, but due to the location I would also recommend it for tourists.

Right on the Neckar and next to Bismarkplatz so it was incredibly easy for transit navigation. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby, and not far from Altstadt or Heidelberg Castle. The staff is wonderful—helpful and kind! They made me incredibly comfortable during my stay, including helping with ice bags and extra pillows for my ankle throughout my time. The large window made a great spot to read or watch the park across the street. The towel warmer in the bathroom was also an unexpected plus! Accommodations were as pictured and just what I needed.

The towels were a little rough and the door to my room was very heavy (hard to navigate with crutches), but everything else was lovely!

This hotel exceeded all of our expectations - spacious, clean rooms, terrific breakfast, and friendly, attentive staff. We had a larger room (junior suite?) that was amazing. Bathroom was a large and luxurious. Hotel is close to major transportation hub of Heidelberg (Bismarkplatz) with numerous restaurants, shops, bank/ATM, and grocery stores steps away. It's also easy to get a taxi to/from the main train station. Of note - photos of rooms/property on Booking.com are completely accurate!

It is a 10-15 minute walk to the heart of the Alstadt. There are many older hotels much closer/within the Altbrucke/Heiligeistkirche area, but this hotel's superior amenities and staff more than make up for the short walk.

The hotel is charming and right on the river. A bridge close by allows you walk over the river to a street filled with restaurants and cafes. Only ten minute walk. You can reserve a parking space for much cheaper than a park house. Included in the room was a complimentary bottle of mineral water, which is rare now these days. Breakfast was also included in the room price. Lovely breakfast room with one of the best breakfast selections I have ever seen. Wonderful service too. Highly recommended and I would consider a secret tip.

Hotel Panorama is quite a classy hotel. Our room was very well appointed, having a spacious bathroom with a large shower and two basins. It's in a good location, close to the centre of the city and overlooking the river. The coffee machine in the room was a plus. The ladies at reception were very helpful and the breakfast was excellent.

The only downside to our room was the traffic noise. It meant that we had to sleep with the window closed. Car parking spaces are limited and cost €12 a day. The steps up to reception from the front door weren't great, but there was a lift after that.

What an amazing Agritourismo. Beautiful property and stunning location and we were met with a warm welcome from Alessandro, his wife and their son Lorenzo who spoke perfect English. Room was lovely, very relaxing and we had the most amazing vegetarian meal and wine (we aren't vegetarian but it was one of the nicest meals we had on our 3 weeks touring Europe). Thank you!

Nothing. It was faultless and we even enjoyed the challenges of the neighboring roads on our fully loaded motorbike !

Panorama hotel lives up to its name with a beautiful view of the Neckar River. It is also situated in a good location, not too far from the metro, the train station, and the old city, but far enough that there are never crowds of people around the hotel. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, going out of their way to assist us, and all communicated in fluent English. There was a good choice of different food for breakfast, were everything was tasty. And the room was comfortable, having all that which we required for our stay.

If I had to be really finicky, I would say that the stairs leading to the hotel, and then to the room we were given, could have been an issue if we had any mobility challenges. And the breakfast area is a bit too small to accommodate all those staying in the hotel, so one has to be really careful with the time they go for breakfast.

Location is amazing, center of Heidelberg. Close to most of the city's highlights. Even more amazing that it is possible to book (in advance) a parking for 12 EUR per night. We were lucky to get a room with a view over the river and city center. Breakfast was generally good, big choice and good food/coffee quality. Receptionists were friendly and nice. I would give this hotel 4 stars, but there are couple of things.

Lobby on the third floor was every day (we stayed 2 nights) used as a station for cleaning. There should be another place for cleaners to sort towels than lobby area meant for customers. On a second day of breakfast restaurant was empty for croissants, water melon and vaffels at 09.16 (while open to 10.00). I remembered it since these are favourite things of my 3 y.o. :)

Right from the moment we rode up the receptionist ran out to explain the free parking for motorbikes (right outside the reception door). Ease of check in, rooms with a view (albeit road noise was a negative). Breakfast what can we say, it felt too good to eat, amazing selction of fruits all presented on a huge platter, no hot food on offer, but that didn't put us off. Overall, we had a great overnight stay, would stay again if in that area. short walk into the main city for a look round.

Only small issue was road noise, as it was a warm night, I had left the balcony door open, and woke a few times because of road traffic along the riverside. this would not stop me recommending this hotel, just something to keep in mind, shut the window next time.

We stayed in a family room which was spacious and comfortable with a nice view of the river. The mattress on the pullout sofa was thicker than expected so kids were happy and we appreciated the complimentary stollen for each family member. Temperature control in the room so it would be comfortable in summer also. Good selection and quality of breakfast buffet. Limited parking but we were able to book in advance which was convenient.

The mattress was a little firm for our taste, but this was true for every hotel we stayed at in Germany. The location is removed from old town sightseeing but we still found it walkable.
