A very nice if slightly old fashioned hotel, eg the room key was an actual key with a heavy fob attached and the furnishings were a bit dated. However, it was very comfortable and the room had everything I needed and a decent shower. Breakfast was fantastic. An amazing selection on the buffet to choose from. All very good. The hotel is right opposite the station. It was quite close to the city centre.

The hotel was a bit noisy at night as trams and traffic were audible during the night. I was in a fourth floor room at the front of the hotel. It didn't really bother me but people needing a quiet room should perhaps ask for one at the back of the hotel. I had requested a room with a double bed and I did get this but the duvet was a single, which was not so good. Light levels could be better in the room.

We loved this beautiful hotel in a perfect location! It was a short walk to the Christmas market, which was the reason for the visit. The staff was very friendly and gave us lots of information about the area. In the evening, we just wanted a light dinner. They had a buffet set up with soup, salad, main courses and dessert. We were able to just have the soup and salad for a lesser price than the whole buffet, which worked out well. The room was very comfortable. If the street noise bothered us, they provided ear plugs as well as sleep masks. We would definitely return to this hotel in the future.

The hotel is in a extremely convenient location with fast access to both train station and city centre. The facility was extremely clean and in a good shape for it's age. Outstanding breakfast and extremely friendly employees.

Rooms towards the road are noisy because of the tram, rooms in the backyard face an elderly care home with very noisy dementia patients (e.g. screaming at night)

The location to the train station was the most important as our transfer had been missed due to train track maintenance and we ended up in Leipzig station at nearly 1 a.m. The train station was closed so we needed to find a hotel that could take us and that was close to the station so we could continue our journey in the a.m. The hotel was short walking distance, and had availability as I checked on booking.com to take us that night

It is a historical hotel which is prohibited from installing A/C so not great in that regard, but we opened windows on the 4th floor and got a breeze and turned on the fan. If there hadn't been a heat wave in Germany in August it would not have been an issue.

The staff are fantastic and the atmosphere just lovely The courtyard is lovely ... unbelievable so near the main station

Unfortunately it was 35 degrees and rooms don't have Aircon.... But it's an old and wonderful building ..and one can't have everything!

The location was excellent 👌🏽 right next to the main railway station( less than 2 mn away)! The staff were excellent, cheerful and always ready to help. The room was good, nice and big enough for 2 people! Clean and easy to heat it up when needed.

No kettle to make oneself tea. And no fridge. A bit expensive also, 165 euros per night! but that is the way now after Covid, everything became more expensive

The hotel is next to the train station, which is a few minutes' walk from the center of Leipzig. Close to all Leipzig attractions. The building is very beautiful and stylish. The room is very luxurious and comfortable. Exceeded my expectations! The bathroom is huge - a real dream. The breakfast is lovely and there is a beautiful interior garden open all day. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Nice hotel near the central station, comfortable and elegant.

The structure needs a restyling, it's a bit too old. Air conditioning was not easily adjustable. Breakfast was too costly compared to the actual offer.

The facility was historically and the location was excellent. The breakfast was first class and they had a very friendly staff

The rooms were not modern enough for that kind of facility. Personally I don’t like carpets.

Good location. Nice interior. Pleasant staff. Good breakfast. Nice rooms. Blinders to dark out the room completely if you want.

Price was on the high end but there were no unpleasant surprises on the bill and I did feel that I got something for my money. The tram or subway could be heard even at 6th floor.
