great location. Transportation: easy walk to the Höckebrucke train stop and 16/17 tram stop- which takes you to Nymphenburg Palace in about 15 minutes, or about 10 minute walk to the big train station, Hauptbahnhof(Hbf). On the 19 tram line which can take you to the Hbf in minutes or to old town. Area: we booked this place because it was in a less overcrowded touristy area, quieter at night, and had secure parking. the breakfast was great! we never ate dinner there. Also a nice cafe two doors down. Reception: very friendly. great with kids. everyone spoke English but helped me with my German. helped me understand the local transportation app and parking. wish we were coming back here for Oktoberfest as it is SO close to the festival grounds!!

my only con was the pillows! but I’m a pillow princess. I like could’ve asked for more but we were too tired after walking all over Munich all day and always forgot. they were very accommodating with other requests for our children so I’m sure they would have.

We had 1 night stays on arrival in Munich and returning again for another night from 4 days in Austria leaving excess luggage at the hotel. The hotel catered to our overnight stays perfectly! Clean and mordern, quiet and comfortable. Great beds hot rain shower and a tasty breakfast with bacon and eggs. What more could we ask for. Airport bus dropped us at Munich station. Walk was very far with luggage as we didn't know how to use the tram. Tram stops right outside the hotel. Way back from Salzburg cut out the back on the railway station rather than through the main entrance. Was only 5min walk with luggage. Very surprised how close it was!

Location was very convenient tram just outside the door easy to get to all areas. Breakfast great choice staff excellent.

The duvets on the bed being two separate ones kept falling off bed prefer one duvet more comfortable.

This was the 2nd hotel we stayed at during our Munich trip. Our first was in the countryside and then we stayed here while in the city. This hotel had the things that our first hotel didn't - dinner, room service option, Smart TV. The room was more compact than I had realised. I wasn't even sure if we got the room I booked but it was still a nice room, modern and clean. We spent most of the day walking around the city so by the evening we liked to stay in the room and relax. This is why it was really nice to have the Smart TV because it meant we could access our Netflix accounts and watch stuff in English as otherwise we wld have had no entertainment as cable TV there only has News channels in English. They have a restaurant downstairs and everything on the menu is offered for room service and it is a nice menu, although we felt overpriced. The room has a mini fridge with water inside but other than that you have the space to stock it yourself which I thought was really good. Location was good if you want to be close to the main station. This was a convenient location when using the main station to get to and from the airport but for the city centre it is easy to get to and about a 30 minute walk to Marienplatz. We were happy with the location but I think when we go back next year we will either stay here again or stay somewhere close to the English Garden as this was the best part of the city. Our experience with the hotel staff was a little mixed but I am including it as a positive because we did get an apology at the end so all was forgiven. When we arrived the man at the desk was so nice and helpful. I had a lot of questions about getting around, how the train tickets work etc and he was very friendly.

The rooms were quite compact. This was fine for us as we were only there 2 nights but I think for any longer a bigger room would be good. I wouldn't recommend paying for breakfast in advance as continental options are usually overpriced. They do love their bread and cheese for breakfast. I'd book the room without breakfast and check it out on the day and decide then, the price is the same. We preferred to seek breakfast elsewhere as more choice. Although the menu lunch and dinner is very nice and you can have it as room service. I am not keen on the way they do bedding. We had a double bed but they seem to use single duvets in Germany instead of just one big double duvet. It felt a bit odd to have a single duvet each.

The facilities were good for the price we paid, and breakfast was very good. We stayed in two different rooms a few days apart and both times the rooms were very quiet despite the hotel being on a busy road, so that was great.

While the hotel is within walking distance of the historical centre, the road it's on isn't very nice, and the hotel itself has no charm - but it is convenient. One employee was also quite rude to my husband, although the others were friendly.

The breakfast is very delicious with many options.

Since the parking lot is located at an external parking lot, every time one needs to pick uo the car or park it again, it is necessary request an access badge at the reception (and park the car in front of the hotel to pick up / give back the the badge). It would be great if a specific parking place would be allocated to the parking reservation and one access badge could be allocated accordingly.

Location of the hotel is great, right next to main railway station Munchen and through it, using U-ban or S-ban, to all parts of the city. Also, hotel is within walking distance to Marienplatz, the city's central square. The reception is open during whole day. Hotel staff is very polite. Our room was big enough for two people, clean and with comfortable beds, nicely furnished, like the whole hotel. Our room was opposite of the street, and quite noise-free. Breakfast was OK. And what is not negligible for us, smoking is prohibited in the entire hotel. Hotel has its own parking places.

It's a little unusual, but there was a pillar in our room, and not a small one, but we could function alongside him. Also, hotel parking places are in a building opposite of the hotel. Yes, it is not far, and it is good that it exists, but in case of rain, for example, it may seem far from the hotel exit.
