Overall your standard Ibis hotel, with a VERY friendly staff (doesn't encounter it that often) and pretty komfy beds. Everything in regards to my stay was very smooth.

Unfortunately hotel rooms are not the fleshiest(hotel was built a while ago), but for the standard prices it is very good value for money, since everything was clean and working. Unfortunately I was there at a high demand (expo event) occasion and therefore cannot rate it as a best vfm.

Location, staff, and breakfast were very good. The whole facility offers anything you might need. The staff is very welcoming, helpful, and very kind. Rooms ACed, which is a great value during warmer days.

The bathroom was tight and small. Equipped with all necessary staff, yet cornered and tight. The rest of the room was big, comfortable and with steady good bed.

The hotel is very close to the train station and not far from the city center. It is no problem walking to most sights in the center, and it is a good base for day trips to other places in the Ruhr area, where many cities can be reached with a 30 minute train trip. The room was not big but well equipped and comfortable. The hotel is very close to the train tracks but windows are well sound proofed and trains were not disturbing. The brakfast buffet was good.

The hotel is a bit apart from other buildings, so late at night the area was deserted. There are no restaurants close by, but in the city center (10 minutes by foot away) there is plenty of choice, and at the train station some fast food and a supermarket is available.

The conversations with the staff members, showing that there was little fluctuation and that they enjoy being part of the team. I got the impression that there was a strong identification with the hotel and a loyalty which to me seemed quite extraordinary in this day and age.

Turkish girl at the reception during the morning time is very helpful. We are really satisfied about her assistance.

Air conditioner didn’t work in our room. We got trouble to convince the night team about this problem. Finally, they saw the air conditioner didn’t work and changed our room.

The welcome, staff interaction and willingness to be of help in all matters, it comes down from management and you could see how well that is working in the hotel.

Found the room a little bit hot and hard to adjust, it was snowing one day and sunny the next so all in all not to bad a problem, windows could be opened so not a big problem.

Near the train station, shops and restaurants. Clean room and bathrooms. Strong Wifi.

Rooms are really small, only 1 towel provided (no separate towels for hand and shower), tv channels variety could be better.

The hotel is about 10 minute walk from main train station, the staff are nice, room is very clean and comfy, the breakfast is perfect, worth the money I highly recommend

The location is perfect, just 5 min walk from the train station. Staff was super friendly. Room was cleaned every day. I stayed for 5 nights and was more than satisfied.

Room was smaller than i expected but actually enough for Solo traveler.
