Charming property and amazing host Where to start? The location is really central and you have everything you need around (pharmacies near by, a store that is opened past 23 o’clock, lots of restaurants and boutiques for souvenirs 2 min away). The property is very charming, it has lots of personality, the colors and the design are very relaxing. It has AC, which is a big help during hot summer nights. And the host is absolutely next level. It is hands down the most welcoming and helpful host I have ever interacted with. He helped us with an early check-in as we had the flight early in the morning, he helped us with printing our flights tickets, he helped us with recommendations for car rental services, beaches, streets where to search for parking - providing even a little map made by himself to help navigating them, restaurants near by the beaches we visited. Regarding restaurant recommendations - he recommended us one of the most interesting and impressive restaurants we have ever been to, so his recommendations are for sure to be trusted. Breakfast is served at a restaurant near-by and is very big and tasty. You pay at the property and you receive some vouchers that you hand in at the restaurant, Sotiris will guide you there. So hands down one of the best stays, the host makes it a 11/10.

The building is an old building, which is nice because it gives it a certain charm, but the sound isolation is not bullet proof, so in case you stay at the ground floor, you might hear some noise from the restaurants around. It usually fades away at around 23 and if you close all the blinds, they also offer some sound isolation. Not a major problem, just a mention to keep in mind and not be surprised.

The room was perfect for a solo traveler. Perfect location in the old city. Despite the busy location, it was surprisingly quiet at night once the dinner run was over. I loved the staircase separating the little kitchen/bathroom area from the bedroom/living room. The room was spotless, and the decorations were cheerful. Internet worked well. The very best part of the property was the host, Sotiris, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, knowledgeable, and accommodating. He bent over backwards to help me figure out tours, find restaurants, and plan my stay. He was always available in person for a couple of hours each morning and afternoon, and responded immediately when I made the initial (very last minute!) booking.

My room was on the ground floor and was not very light, and there was no balcony. But after days in the sun, I found that I didn’t mind returning to my comfortable cool space!

Really funky boutique hotel in town but quiet backstreet location. Sotiris and team look after you really well. You are close to everything apart from Nea Chora beach which is only 20 mins walk (slow paced in the heat). Rooms are very clean, tidy and quiet from 12 midnight to around 9am. Ideal place for those wanting to explore the old town and enjoy it's many places of interest , bars, restaurants. Breakfast is served at a nearby café and it's a delight but not essential option. The home made Tsikoudia (Raki) made by Sotiris's father is really quite good (hic).

For those who are less nimble this may not be for you- you need to walk up narrow stairs to the upstairs rooms- those pesky Venetians failed to put in lifts (elevators) . There are no sea views and as such you won't want to consider this a resort type hotel- it is a very good base for seeing the beauty of Hania/Crete

A perfect location surrounded by great bars and restaurants and a few minutes from the harbour. It's impossible not to be charmed by the maze of streets in the Old Town. Hotel is very clean with plenty of boutique touches to the decor. The air-con worked really well. I had a peaceful terrace all to myself - the noise from the nearby restaurants dies down after 11pm. The instructions on arrival were very clear. All through my stay the host provided excellent suggestions for where to eat and drink.

You might struggle on the staircase in the room if you're large or clumsy!

Great location in old Jewish quarter of Chania Old Town so a tad quieter than other spots but so very convenient! Lovely friendly, super knowledgeable and helpful hostess Sotiris - family owned. Lovely attention to detail in individual decor. Beds and all fittings and amenities perfect. Lovely spacious back patio

Steps up to bedroom a bit hard for older people and low ceiling in loft harder for someone tall. Our sliding door to bathroom didn't close easily

Very nice and clean room, beautifully decorated with a great eye for detail and with a very nice terrace; great location in the old town of Chania very close to the Venetian harbour; the host Sotiris is a very pleasant person who is very interested in the wellbeing of his guests and who has great tips for bars/restaurants in Chania and for places to visit on the island of Crete

Beautiful decor and clean room in old town, Chania. Super close to everything: shops, restaurants, bars, bus stop. Great amenities, relaxing vibe and friendly staff! Sotiris is super informative about Crete; where to visit and eat - they also kept our luggage safe until our departure time. Definitely recommend and would come back here again!

Everything was perfect!

Incredible location and an outstanding host – very friendly/engaging and ultra-helpful in terms of suggesting places to visit as well as providing information about local sites, restaurants, food, etc. The price includes discount coupons for breakfast at a neighbouring café/restaurant, which was spectacular (eggs with staka, a new discovery). We were sad to leave and would unquestionably stay there again!

Our room was on the ground floor. It was very spacious and comfortable. The interior design was very charming, with a lot of interesting arranging ideas. The room was cleaned every day, The location of the property is perfect! Everything is on a short walking distance. Thanks to the hospitality of our host Sotiris we felt ourselves at home. Sotiris helped us find perfect restaurants in Chania and due to his advice we have managed to find a lot of wonderful spots all around Crete. We certainly hope to come back.

Loved the fact that it was in the heart of Chania Old Town. Loved having the outside space of a Terrace area to relax in. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed.

The seats in the apartment were not particularly comfortable to relax in. Apart from that everything else was lovely.
