I stayed 08-10 March in room 703. Hotel was in very very central place in Egnatia. You can walk everwhere easily. All touristic areas Aristo Square, sea shore, White Tower, Tsimiski, Kapani Bazaar, Modiano, Vardaris, Ladadika, Museums, Churchs, Bus and Train Station are so close. Nearly in 10-15 minutes you can reach them. Around hotel entrance lots of food shops, taverns, markets, taxi and bus station. So you are in the heart of the city.. Hotel Ilios's location was great because it situated at the corner on famous Egnatia Odos. And the building has chareteristic and classic style. it has is own soul. Wood details, huge areas, arm chairs in common areas. My room was in the highest floor so had a wonderful view anf large private terrace, balcony. But the important thing is the friendly, helpful staff and warm hospitality. Thank you very much again. I highly recommended Hotel Ilios. Next time we will meet again in Thessaoniki. The locationwas excellent on the center walking distance from the sea, markets, you have bus staions near the hotrls and also a supermarkets and other palces you can order a takeout, the staff at the reception was very nice and helpful

The lobby always smells of cigarettes, there litrelly stains from that there and apprently people altough not allowed to smoke inside the roomse thet do.so sometimes, at the reception i was told there is nothing they can do about that

Good budget Hotel. Comfy room, great balcony where I could see the sunset colours. A glimpse the sea. Good TV, didn't need A/C. Close to many eateries and staff recommended best places to go for different foods. I would stay again. Less than 1K, and an easy walk, from main bus and train station.

The need to walk one floor of stairs before the elevator (I had an injured knee & it was a struggle). Bathroom drain cover was loose and my walking stick got caught twice. It was dangerous for me..

Perfect hotel. Nice, clean rooms, airco working perfectly. Bathroom fine. Very friendly staff, perfect, central location. No breakfast, but there are plenty of opportunities just around the corner. Hard to find better accommodation for this price.

The only thing I can think of was that it could take some time before the water in the shower was really warm. Not a big issue though.

Having stayed at this Hotel previously, it was a very easy decision to choose to stay there again. I knew what to expect and was not disappointed. I was recognised immediately when I booked in , greeted by a warm welcome with a smile. The room was spotlessly clean: all of the staff were very friendly and helpful: the Hotel was in a good location , with reasonably priced restaurants close by. The price was very good value for money.

Nothing. Would I stay again? Yes!

We literally booked this room on the way to Thessaloniki and it was perfect for the night. We came by train, and the train station was really close, we didn't even have to cross the main street to get to the hotel, it was just a straight line of walking for about 15 min. It was also around the same distance away from the pubs where we like to go out to when we are in Thessaloniki, so it was perfect in every way. They let us check in after 9 pm even though we made a request like 3 hours before we arrived, and it was nice that we could sleep in because the check out was till noon. We also had a neon Hotel sign right outside our balcony, which we've always wanted to see, just like in the films. The room wasn't big, but it didn't make a difference to us because we were just passing through for one night. We had everything we needed and it was clean.

Bad sound isolation, ear plugs are a must. There was a gap of around 20 cm from the floor to where the bathroom door started, luckily we're couple, but it could be a privacy issue for some.

Possibly the quietest hotel I've ever stayed in, at least in Thessaloniki. Spectacular room overlooking Egnatias street. Central location, one can easily reach most points of interest on foot. Ideal hotel for a smooth stay in a multi-dimensional city. I definitely recommend it.

Staff not particularly communicative, but then nothing problematic came up

Hotel is with new Bathroom (completely new equipment and new shower) . The room is equipped with a double and single bed, mirror and grooming table, clothing closet and refrigerator. The room has a balcony with views of Egnatia Street

Was near to everything. White tower twenty minute walk. All the other sights within easy walking distance. Airport bus stop just across the street. Very helpful , friendly people at reception. Good WiFi. Aircon, hot and cold water. Everything worked. Cleaning,new bed linen and clean towels every day.

The hotel staff is very friendly and willing to make a concession, if they are able - we entered the reserved room a few hours earlier than the scheduled time for entering the room. Thank you very much for that.
