Room was comfortable and had a fridge which was handy and the best was comfortable and the room was refreshed everyday. The hotel is in such a good location for the sea front and local points of interest and the front desk were always friendly and helpful.

Great location near everything, safe, and pleasant. Very fair price. The hotel is in a great old building. All the ceilings are very tall, which is a great feeling. And I liked the old blown-up photos of the city in the lobby. The room was fine for one person and very clean--the tall ceilings make it seem bigger, and everything i needed was available. The bed is comfortable. Not much space besides the good-sized bed and a small desk, but since i was out most of the time, i did not care. Helpful staff. They sent coffee up to my room when i inquired about getting Greek coffee in the morning! There are many bakeries and other eateries half a block away. I left before dawn for the airport, and everything worked well--i got my wake up call, a cab was called for me that showed up within minutes, and I had the tasty strong coffee in the spacious lobby area. I'd definitely stay here again.

I liked everything but the shower which is very small and not separated from the toilet, but I was aware of this when I booked. Still, would a separation be possible?

Fabioulous staff always available to support for any need 24/7. Great service, there is also a free coffee/choccolate/tea machine always available in the lobby. Great also the cleaning service, room cleaned greatly every day with new towels and new shower soap every day. Easy parking (we rent a car), there are 3 free spots available from the hotel, otherwise we always found spots around the hotel easily. Very nice position in the city center, near to the main restaurant and movida area and to the sea walking of the city, but quite at night if you want to sleep.

Since the first time I stayed at this hotel, I have not stopped visiting it, and every time, when I am in Thessaloniki I choose it again, and again. And if someone asks me why I choose this hotel every time, I won't answer the standard, and clichéd things that everyone is interested in. I will answer briefly, and clearly. I will answer that way, because I feel at home there. I am fascinated by the attitude, warmth, and comfort I receive every time. This is the place where great, positive, and smiling people welcome me, and for me that's the most important thing, the feeling like you're in your own home

we got room 100 - which is a huge room - even bigger than you can see in the pictures.... same room that you can see in the old B&W picture that is hanging in the entrance. 4 chairs, small table, big table, coffee machine, all you can have, and it seems a new renovated room. fresh new big lobby with FREE coffee machine and biscuits all day (nice). breakfast was ok, nothing special. we stayed 2 nights: had room 100 (the one we wrote about), and room 223 - which is smaller without coffee machine (but you can have it in the lobby) - we would rate it as 8.0

although the hotel has a lift, it is not a lift from top to bottom. getting to it you have to climb 12 stairs (half floor). breakfast room in on fourth floor, but the lift goes until 3rd floor, so you need to climb by foot.... not suitable for those who have difficulties. mattress was rock hard - even for us - and we like hard mattress...

When I first went to this hotel, I did not expect that every time when I am in Thessaloniki, I will stay there again, and again. From the first moment, they made an impression on me with the good service and the kind attitude of the people at the reception. Someone might say that this is expected of them, to be kind, but actually I have been in other hotels where the attitude of the staff was far from friendly. For me, things like what the room will be like, with what kind of view, the size of the bathroom, or how big the elevator is, are not that important. But....different people, different ideals. Of course, the good location of the hotel is a great advantage. For me, the really important things are the good and kind attitude I receive there, the positive and smiling people who welcome me every time. I can even say that when I stay there I feel at home, and every time I come back with great pleasure

They upgraded our room and surprised us, so thank you for this unforgettable experience🙏🏾 Beauful and old building. The hotel is at the center of the city, all the fun is at walking distance. Housekeeping ladies organize the room beatifully. Gentlemen at the reception are so kind. Mr Dimitris explained all the essentials to Thessaloniki. They helped us to park our motor safely on the pavemement.

Just the breakfast… the breakfast can be more varied and quality for such a lovely hotel.

Friendly, helpful and englishspeaking staff. Room was clean with clean sheets and towels which is essential to me. Fridge in the room was a plus. Real good working AC. Calm street not very noisy. Good varied breakfast and free coffee in the lounge on the bottom floor. And not to expensive! I would recommend this hotel anytime to anyone who do not look for luxury, but does want comfort.

The Nea Metropolis is centrally located just off Egnatia and is full of character. Rooms are spotlessly clean with double glazing and efficient air conditioning. Reception staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Breakfast is served in a delightful room on the top floor with a good choice to suit all tastes.

There was nothing that I could find fault with at this property.

The hotel , the location, the staff were all of a high standard.

The pillows were most uncomfortably big . No coffee and tea making facilities in the room , although there was a coffee machine in the foyer . People with mobility issues may find the stairs a challenge. There are approximately 10 stairs to climb in order to access the lift to the upper floors
