The location was absolutely amazing. It really is in the middle of a natural reservation, you could take several little trails from your room through hanging bridges to see waterfalls and lake Atitlán... They also had a butterfly garden and raccoons and monkeys and there's a zipline option. The balcony was amazing and getting to hear the jungle sounds at night was incredible. The staff was really nice, the room was clean, the bed was huge, the size of the room was good too. The breakfast was delicious.

There was very little space to put our stuff, we could really use a wardrobe. The restaurant served good food, but the closing time at 5 p.m. was pretty inconvenient, especially as there aren't many other options nearby. And twice we came around 4:20-30 and they told us we can get beverages only... Also the isolation was quite poor and we were getting ants, mosquitoes and flies in our room. A mosquito net could have been useful, got bitten in our room plenty of times...

grounds were beautiful. plenty to do without ever leaving the hotel. Staff was always friendly. breakfast was good.

like some others in the reviews, I too found a scorpion in my room. a little freaky but I relocated him and all was well.

It’s gorgeous! Like a little jungle getaway. You have access to the trails and waterfalls at night. Great breakfast with vegan options included in the morning, and the dining area is beneath blooming vines. Very tropical jungle glamping vibe. Butterfly dome is AMAZING!!!

Not a dislike, just an observation, but the park is less like a national park and more like a theme park. Pretty standard for Central America but it is geared towards tourism. Hikes aren’t strenuous, monkeys are behind electric barriers. The lake part is pretty manicured. The coatis come out at feeding time. But, it is quite beautiful and very fun to walk around and explore.

After staying in 3 towns, this was my favourite stay in Lake Atitlan. Set away from the hustle and bustle, the lodge is set in the middle of reserve (meaning you don’t pay access like external visitors). The room itself was huge! It was beautifully decorated, clean, and super comfortable. My favourite part was sitting on the extensive balcony, overlooking the reserve, and listening to the birds singing whilst having a morning coffee. The staff are friendly, and the restaurant menu had plenty of options at a reasonable price. Easy 10min to walk into town - although you do need to walk along a main road for part of it, or take a tuk tuk. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved this place. It felt really special to have a little jungle bungalow surrounded by monkeys and coatis. The staff were all lovely and the breakfast was excellent. We really enjoyed all the walking routes, the wire bridges, the zip line and the small beach. Although it’s located slightly out of the town, it’s an easy walk in or a very cheap tuk tuk ride. We’d definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately, we were woken up at 4am both mornings by a really noisy family that occupied the bungalows above and to the side of us. It would be nice if the hotel could step in when guests are so loud at inappropriate times.

The room was spacious and beautiful, We loved walking around the whole reserve at all hours. The staff tried hard to make sure our stay was comfortable.

Although there was usually a tuktuk around to take us into town, sometimes there was none available, and with the hotel being a bit far from main part of town, we had to get creative with trying to find a ride.

The thing that it was inside the natural reserve and you could enjoy the nature after it was closed for the public. The animals live around you and you can enjoy them any time. You don't pay an entrance fee and have a 10% discount on the activities. The staff is very friendly and helpful!! Always with a smile!

It was very humid since it's very close to the water and the towels didn't dry so a towel heater could do the trick or change the towels daily. There is no food option in the evening but you could walk to the city (20min) or get a tuk tuk.

The booking description was misleading as it stated room would have one queen bed and one twin bed. It did not mention the twin bed was a wooden bed (that was actually smaller than a twin bed) which hung from the wall. The description of the room should have been more clear.

The Nature Reserve is beautiful for nature lovers: walking over suspension bridges, seeing a lot of wild animals up close ( pisotes, monkeys, butterflies, hummingbirds). Doing the zip lines is so worth it- cheap and secure. The two fellows we had Mario and Cello inspired confidence and were so kind, considerate and caring.

Although the accommodation we stayed in was super comfortable and clean, having an encounter with a live scorpion sort of put us off.

A great hotel in the natural reserve. It has access to all the amenities of the reserve. The room was great, comfortable. We had access to a private beach on the lake (10-15 minute walk), amazing view, and got to swim. There’s also a path to a beautiful waterfall. We got to feed some pizotes and monkeys on the property (had to get bananas in the city). The butterfly dome is included in the stay. And for additional pay we got do go zip lining (with a discount), that was an amazing experience, the views were breathtaking.

It’s a little far away from the city, but the personnel ordered tuktuks for us and gave us the price range so that we don’t get scammed. It would’ve been nice to have a phone in the room to be able to call reception (to arrange taxis, or for questions). The shower head was weird it would just mist water all over.
