Loved the location easy walking around , going to the markets the town square , and some fabulous coffee shops nearby …..Staff were great!!!! Helpful and smiling,

So cold from late afternoon to morning, lots of blankets in the bed was great but a small heater would have been wonderful in our room… .. and poor hot water … Staff were great!!!! Helpful and smiling,

Loved the location and how quaint the place is. Comfortable room and beds, nice breakfast area and very tasty breakfast, has on-site parking, and all service personnel were super kind and attentive.

Noisy room because window was on a busy street. The maintenance of the building could be improved without taking away its rustic and quaint spirit. Bathroom was very small and the room for three could have been larger.

The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The included breakfast was delicious and the staff was very helpful. The courtyard is absolutely gorgeous. From the second floor, you can see the largest domes of the Quetzaltenango Cathedral. The plants and flowers located around the hotel are lovely. The showers were nice with wooden floors. It is very close to the central park. Very walkable neighborhood

There were a number of fees/taxes that I was not informed of earlier that raised the price quite a bit. It sometimes took a while to grab the attention of the person at the front desk when we needed her to open the door to the parking lot. The parking lot is beautiful (it is make from cobblestones in the courtyard) but it is quite difficult to maneuver in that small space. I recommend calling beforehand to know where to find the entrance (it is discrete)

Casa Morasan was a fabulous place for our stay in Xela. The hotel is very chic, clean, and comfortable. My wife and I were surprised to find such a wonderful place outside of Antigua and Guate. I highly recommend the hotel and will stay here again next time.

Some reviewers complained of the street noise. We experienced none of that. There might be some rooms that are on the exterior allowing street noise, so make sure to ask for a quiet room away from the street and you will be fine. In fact, we didn't set an alarm and slept in much later than expected because the room was so quiet and peaceful. After hiking Tajumulco, we really needed the extra rest!

The room was cold at night but that is every hotel that we stayed in. Just bring warm pajamas! There were plenty of blankets on the bed.

Electrical is a bit unusual, hot water is uncommon.

In general, the attention from all the staff is high quality. The location also is an asset.

The room is really small, don´t have enough place to work with a lap top and the worst issue is that the you have to pay an extra fee when you book through booking, so you pay more than the quantity informed previously in the confirmation mail.
