Spa facilities were great and the lady at the desk was very helpful.

The two single beds set up as a double bed. Made it quite uncomfortable to sleep on with a partner.

This is our third time staying here. This time we stayed several nights to visit Budapest. The comfort is more than excellent, even more so for three stars. Polite staff. Tasty and quite varied breakfast. The related restaurant it must be rated as 10+. We highly recommend. The quality-price ratio is admirable. No more than 20 minutes walk to subway and 30 minues to Zoo. Garfield the mutt is a beautiful apparition for children and beyond.

It was the most pleasant experience ever lived in a hotel. The rooms are very clean, arranged, with a pleasant ambience,; respectful, educated and very friendly staff. The Hungarian-specific restaurant (within the hotel), is truly worthy of all possible praise. Safe parking in the hotel yard, the hotel's position is very close to the City-center, especially with the "Budapest Go" app, where you can buy group tickets for 2-5 people for 24 hours, with HUF 5000, about €12-13, and you can visit anything with transport public. The hotel has a stunning garden, also it has a pleasant and comfortable terrace and a playground for the little ones. So, as a result, the price/quality ratio of the hotel, also reaches the highest marks; I for one, have become an active fan of this hotel. We will definitely return to this hotel, both for its position in a quiet and pleasant atmosphere, and for the impeccable services in all areas related to hoteliers / HoReCa. Thank you for your commitment. It was a true pleasure.

Pretty nice hotel with free parking and restaurant. I always stayed at hotel Karin due to proximity to the company I visit, however this time I tried Szonyi hotel and I must say that I am not disappointed for the price. Rooms are pretty comfortable, the only things that I didn't liked are two single beds put together but this they clearly state when booking, so it is more a personal preference. For me the location when traveling with car was also ok. They have a restaurant with tasty food and fair prices. Also a sauna and jacuzzi FOC for guests.

Despite pretty nice dinner in the restaurant, breakfast I found a bit too basic. Also not a lot of info in the lobby about the spa (at least in english). As well the lobby guy gave me a keycard and told me in spoken the room number. Since sometimes you might forget the room number, I find this a bit strange, probably the first time when there is no room number written either on an envelope or Keychain. Yet, these are minor complaints, in general it is a fair deal for the price.

We booked late at night just 2-3hours before arrival and when we got there they were ready for us. They prepared the cot for my little one as requested and made up the sleeper couch for my other child. The room is a good size, it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. Overall the stay was good.

The only thing I didn't like was the kind of small duvets that's separate for each person. Just a personal preference.

Free parking at the hotel is a plus. Breakfast was ok. Staff was friendly. The hotel spa was also nice and you could relax in a quiet environement.

The pillows were very flat and uncomfortable. The location is a bit far from the city center, however there are bus stops nearby. The cleaning could have been better.

The staff were accommodating and nice, the courtyard is superb and the room was very nice, clean and spacious. There’s a large parking inside the courtyard and you can find a spot even when busy (as locals come here for the restaurant too). We didn’t get to try the restaurant but the food looked great. The property is rather far from city centre (but you can take bus 74 directly there) - however it’s very close to the Zoo and Heroes Square.

All was great. Location is super quiet, not far from the city center. Fresh air and lots of birds singing. Room is super comfy and spacious, with amazing bed, balcony and walk-in shower. Staff is super friendly, welcoming and helpful. WiFi is super fast as well. Also hotel has spa included in the price of the room and very cozy courtyard. Can’t skip mentioning free parking as well. Overall it is 10/10 experience especially considering the price of the stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was excellent. The room was spotlessly clean and the beds were incredibly comfy. The breakfast offered a great variety of options, ensuring there was something for everyone.

The only minor downside was its location, as it was a bit of a long walk from the city center. However, they did have a convenient parking area, which made up for it. Overall, a fantastic experience!

The hotel staff was the best. before my trip to Budapest I booked a room for two people with two separate beds. But as we reached to the hotel it came out that no room with two separate beds was available. The hotel staff told that it was their mistake so he decided to give us two rooms with double beds for one room price. The rooms were very clean and modern. Beside this, the hotel has a very beautiful garden.

The location of the hotel is not very central but also not that far away from the center if some goes there by a car. We didn't use any public transportation in Budapest so I don't how good the connection to the center by public transportation is.
