Good location in the middle of the city centre. Some noise in the evening, but not that much that it's annoying. Note this was between Christmas and Old years day, so more busy in the evening on the streets with both outgoing as tourists. But in the cold dec. it's a good alternative if you don't want to walk to walk much to the centre. It's really 30 sec. around the corner of the mainstreet ;) The staff was extremely polite and that's good, just keep it loke that. Also one of the staff was from Pakistan origin and had a nice chat with him. I was the one from India origin but born and lives in Netherlands if he remembers ;)

Perfect location . Staff great and really helped getting us taxis and advice during our stay. Rooms small by European sizes but very clean and more than adequate for short city break.

Requested early breakfast on last day and received 3 tiny croissants between 2 of us with half a cup of coffee which was extremely poor compared to good breakfast on other days

The location was just brilliant. Close to everything including bus stop for pick up and drop off for airport and day trips. The staff . Everyone that we encountered in this hotel were super friendly and helpful. Farouk gave us a loan of an extension cord for charging our devices and other staff members helped us with trips and taxis. They really could not have been more helpful. Full marks to them all.

The room needed updating. We had only one working socket to charge devices and that was by the door so we had to put a chair there to put things on. Farouk had kindly given us an extension cord so that helped. Only one of the lights over our beds worked and they were in an awful position over the bed as we could easily hit our heads off the lights and the main switch was behind my friends bed so if she was sitting up in the bed the light kept turning on and off . So very bad room lay out. Bathroom was small but adequate. Shower flooded every time it was used though.

Hotel located in the heart of Reykjavik, very close to every attraction. Very clean and decently updated. The hotel staff were very attentive and helpful. I loved the European-style breakfast, with a great selection of healthy meals such as toasts, fruits, cold cuts, cheese, fish, some pastries, cereal, marmalade, and plenty of coffee, tea and so on (if you are expecting a greasy breakfast based on bacon-eggs-sausages, etc., this is not for you). Blinds get the job done to block the light during summer time, where you will expect 24h of daytime. In this hotel you will find all basics (and I mean basics, good but basics) you'll need for a short stay in Reykjavik.

Noise. If you are a bad sleeper that wakes up with every noise around you, be prepared to bring with you a good pair of earplugs, because believe me when I say that the bar in front of the hotel, as well as some city noises here and there, will make your resting a bit difficult at least till 2:00am. Housekeeping start making noises very early in the morning too. Bathroom is pretty small, and I missed a shelf in it to place my toiletries on. The windows that open (not all open) are not very well isolated, and noise and cold air leak through.

This little gem of a hotel was exactly what we needed. It is in a perfect location, close to the main part of town and near to a bus stop that you will need if you use Flybus to get too and from the airport. The room was warm, immaculately clean and fresh and had all the facilities we needed. Kettle, tea and coffee and a TV, hair dryer and modern and clean bathroom with all the extras. The bed was comfortable and clean and the bedding was good quality. Breakfast was lovely, home made food and lots of choice. The staff were superb. The reception team were so helpful and helped guide us round town and what excursions to use for value for money and quality. Brilliant place to stay, highly recommended. We will be back!

Nothing, all was good.

The location is fantastic, right in the centre of the city with parking right round the corner. Staff are friendly especially Farouk 😊 he was super helpful, giving us advice and even coupons for discounts in places. Place is clean and tidy. Would highly recommend 🙂

The place could do with a modernisation as a little dated but was clean and tidy so can’t complain really. Food is nothing to write home about but it’s a meal to start the day and included in the price of the hotel so again can’t complain.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and attentive. Especially Elena, Farouk, Ruska and Wadziie, to name a few. They spent a lot of time and effort giving me information, sorting out my excursions and rebooking when necessary. They all speak excellent English, so language wasn't a problem. Breakfast was very good, just a little crowded in the buffet area because of the way the room is set up. My room was great, great view to the harbor and mountains in the distance. I especially liked the electric water cooker, so I could make a cup of tea any time. The location is ideal, right in the shopping district, easy to get everywhere from there.

I didn't use the shower because I wasn't sure if the floor would be slippery when wet, and there was no hand rail or way to hold on to anything. A hand rail would be very helpful.

Hotel staff where friendly and informative especially Farooq, who gave some great tips on how to save money in a very expensive location. As well as great places to visit. The room whilst not big had the most amazing view of the mountains and was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast is buffet style and there where plenty of pastries as well as a variety of hot drinks, eggs, salad, toast and cereal. Location is perfect and right in the middle of things.

The bathroom was cold, other than that I have no complaints

The location was fairly good for traveling the rest of the city. the walk from Bus Stop 14 was a fairly steep uphill, but then good for going back to the stop. Close to the main areas we wanted to see. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, though some unusual items (for us). Lots of hot water, of course. :) Good room darkening drapes. Not a fancy place but more than adequate.

The Standard room was small - functional but small. Same with the bathroom. Hard to regulate the temperature at times but turned out fine. Lights were not what we are used to (understandable), but not easy to figure out. Our room looked out over a cafe (?) area, which was noisy, but it closed early. Staff was efficient, though not overly welcoming.

Hotel localization is amazing (very closely to main attracions ie. Harpa, Sun Voyager, Laugavegur street, Hallgrímskirkja). Room was very comfy with all needs facilities. Awesome Wi-Fi connection. Delicious breakfast (sweet/salty snacks), fresh juices, vegetables, fruits, tasty coffee, fish. Friendly and helpful staff. Special thanks for reception heartly hospitality during my check-in and check-out and for interesting conversation and for take away coffee during my extremly early check-out! <3 :-) That's all made stay in Reykjavik unforgotable and forever will stay in my mind. I honestly recommended this hotel for all travelers! Takk fyrir Ísland! :-)
