We booked this room based on the reviews, and I must say it did not disappoint. The location was excellent, just a few minutes away from the City Palace. The hotel and the room were exceptionally clean, surpassing most of the hotels we stayed at during our trip around the state of Rajasthan. The staff was very friendly, engaging in small talks at the reception and providing us with valuable information about the city. I really liked this hotel, and I would definitely stay there again. The food was also very good, and the prices were fair.

Many of the reviews mention the small size of the bathroom, and I can confirm that it is indeed quite compact. However, this didn't bother me too much as everything else about the hotel was quite pleasing. It's a small compromise for an otherwise enjoyable stay.

When we checked out Deepak ‘mistakenly’ added 1000 rs to the bill. As soon as I queried it he quickly gave the cash back. He seemed to know exactly what he was doing. I mentioned it to management but beware

This is a very good value-for-money place. After 2 weeks of traveling in India on a low budget, I finally found this hotel with everything I needed. The room is new, and it smells good! It is located very close to any attractions in the city center, and it is within walking distance of the city palace. The room has a balcony looking towards the busy street, but it is well sound-proof thanks to the double door layers. The reception allows early check-in whenever the room is ready. They have a very nice rooftop bar offering a variety of drinks and snacks. Highly recommended!

The location is great, our 2 rooms were clean and across the hall, perfect for us (each room is just for 2 people, spacious including nice bathroom). The staff was very helpful, kind and spoke good English. They were honest in their recommendations (not just to sell us something). The Hotel offers also a free daily puppet show in the evening. They are proud of their heritage. Would absolutely recommend this hotel.

The breakfast staff didn’t speak English and the Indian breakfast food was just ok.

We spent four fantastic nights at this hotel, located very close to the New Gate, and a short walk from Hawa Mahal, the City Palace, and the Bapu Bazar. Although located in a very busy area, the hotel rooms are both quiet and clean. The service throughout, particularly from Rana, was excellent. There are chilled drinks available in reception for when you return from a hot day out, which are priced very reasonably. And there is an outside bar and restaurant on the top floor. We would strongly recommend this hotel, given its location and fantastic value for money.

Nothing to dislike!

Efficient staff, Clean premises and a heritage building at the heart of the city. Highly recommended as you can shop through the day and walk into your heritage premises to rest. Travellers please buy in and around the premises, the taxi guys are big cheats as they would take you to places where they get commissions. Day trip Taxi cost should not be more than 1500 as the taxi guys would provide you 5 to 6 places on the itinerary and take you to 2 to 3 places. Bargain well at all the locations and don't shy to walk off. Don't go for the astrology trick whereby they would convince you to buy a stone :-) Shop through the day and have some relaxing street food as well. Naraynji's sweet shop is a must visit. Bandhanis, Saris, Chappals, Stone carvings are economical if you bargain well enough. Thanks and Happy Holidays....

Parking space at the premises and some good Non-Veg food

Great location - situated just inside the old city of Jaipur near one of the old city gates (which makes transportation and rickshaws easier). Hotel restaurant was nice, and the inner courtyard in the hotel had a roof which helps for monsoon season. Our room had air conditioning and a fan which was nice. One of the most famous chai walla in Jaipur is also up the road about 100 metres towards the city palace - give him a visit for the best chai in Jaipur!

If you want to do laundry via the hotel, the hotel will charge you 40 rupee per item, which seems a bit expensive.

1. Amazing architecture and rooms are spacious and clean and with very nice interior 2. Very good location close to many temples and the city center and major tourist attractions. 3. Tasty breakfast. Especially pancakes with Nutella and banana all freshly cooked. 4. Value for money is good. 5. Cosiest bed and bathroom in Italian style with hot water available always. 6. Very helpful managers.

A little nosy area and not so good soundproof from the street even at night. Last night there was some celebration and shooting firecrackers half of the night.

The room was very clean. The architecture is quite pleasing to the eyes. The room came with a balcony, hot water and aesthetically pleasing interior. Located in the heart of the city, bike rentals are available within a walkable distance. The food at the hotel was also very pleasing. All the major spots like the Hawa Mahal and Albert Hall Museum are all within a 10 minute travel radius. The crowning jewel owes it to the musicians singing in the night and the extremely sweet vendors serving delicious treats within a walkable distance.

The room did not come with a heater. The weather was a bit harsh and a heater could have gone a long way to making it extra special for us.
