Incredible location

It was as an incredible stay. However, a major concern was observing your bar staff (including manager) pouring back the uneaten mixed nuts that had been served as bar snacks at the tables, into the main jar and re-served. As I’m sure you understand this is the quickest method of giving food poisoning to the people staying at the hotel, which one from our group got during the stay. Something this of a small economic impact yet large impact to health is not what we would expect a 5-star hotel to partake in.

Beautiful large double room with stunning sea view (room upgrade was very appreciated). Good food quality both breakfast with huge variety and at C2C restaurant. Prompt loundry service. Rooftop pool was amazing although more sunbeds and better bar service are required (indeed rooftop bar wasn't open yet). Reception and restaurant staff were careful and highly professional; in fact they provided us professional driver for a couple of days with a good value for money. Nice sea view at Vanguinim beach, in front of Taj Cidade de Goa Heritage. We had a very tasty lunch at the Cafe de Azul Restaurant. Appreciated fast caddy transfer from the hotel.

5 stars hotel should have free wifi instead of wifi depending on check in room. (we checked in early morning at 7 am, so was difficult to use wifi at roof terrace till room check in at 11 am; only restaurant at ground floor was able to provide).

View from room was very good. Comfortable bed, super clean. Food was great - both taste and variety in buffet. However, limited vegeterian options in ala-carte. Provided complimentary food for baby. Private Beach was small but good but is located at Taj cidade de heritage so you have to take a shuttle to go the beach (will take 5 mins max though).

Toilet area in bathroom was small. There wasn't too much to do in the property itself so may not be great if you are looking for a resort to spend whole time inside the property.

Wonderful location and facilities in the Taj Horizon . Staff were really kind to help surprise my wife on her birthday . What really stood out for me was the warmth with which all staff spoke to us , be it room service or breakfast or general concierge or reception folks . Will definitely be back here and recommend Taj to other friends as well .

The only tiny thing I felt we could have gotten more so of was more room in the mini refrigerator in our room. For a 5 star hotel, I felt space was really limited for us visitors to place anything within.

I felt safe at all times. The staff (Fagun and Sakshi) made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. The food was top notch. Each day the breakfast and dinner were a delectable spread. The rooms and facilities were fantastic with great attention to detail. The best part of staying at Horizon is that you can access the adjacent Heritage property's facilities as well, with a seamless shuttle between both resorts. The Jiva spa never fails to perform. I have used Jiva at several other Taj properties and the expertise across the board sets them apart. No other spa in Goa can hold a candle to the therapists' expertise. Worth every paisa! Special mention to Andy who was professional, mindful and sensitive to all my needs. A shout out to Christian and Krishnakanth in dining for being super sweet! Truly a 5 star experience!

Nothing at all, since I mostly relaxed on the property. But if I wanted to go out, perhaps I would factor in the distance from the places I need to go to. Mainly because Goa miles cabs are not easily available and one needs to rely on the hotel to book a car (which is more expensive). However, as a solo traveller, I preferred the hotel booked vehicles for added safety.

Lots of things This is an excellent stay for us , an occasion of my Kid B'day celebration. We have truly enjoyed it and the staff made my kid b'day very energetically. He loved and hence we booked for the upcoming December month vacation as well. The most important thing which is food and service , Mr Rohit , Mr Onkar , Mr Aasif and Mr Salim are utmost best in classy food and delivered in room within stipulated time and no mistakes for any taste and service , may it's late night or midnight orders. Mr Rohit & Mr Onkar both are fabulous and become friends of my kid and my kid urged to visit again as Rohit uncle's hotel/resort for December and I booked it already for our Marriage Anniversary 😄. I would definitely like to recommend this property with the staff specially Rohit & Onkar and I did that to our IT groups.

Stunning Resort. Every minute since you enter the premises is just constant service and pampering! The entering of hotel is greeted by a traditional necklace and a refreshing fruit drink. The check-in is done by a sit-down service at the very entrance as they immediately approach you. No standing in line or reception service, it’s absolutely organised as though they are welcoming you into their home. As you sit on a comfy couch sipping your cold freshly squeezed fruit drink. The service comes to take you to your room while explaining everything along the way. They accommodate absolutely anything you need and think two steps ahead for you. The room i had was a sea-view and i received an upgrade, you can see the photo attached. Every single thing in the room is automated via a button. From different ambient lighting in the room and bathroom, mirror, shower, tub, shades on window, shade on bathroom window to all electronics and the DND and CleanUp service for room. Everything in room is impeccable and clean and comfortable… absolutely fantastic experience. The bathroom is amazingly clean and really well designed with shower, bath and toilet all separated. All possible toiletries are already in the bathroom nothing needed to pack. From shaving foam and razors to toothbrush and toothpaste. Also there are alot of designer lotions, soaps and creams in bathroom. The premesis of hotel is huuuge! I really couldn’t do justice for this hotel by just writing a review so you will definitely need to come here… this place feels like a different world from where it’s located. My recommendation for anyone really as i saw youn and old, children, business people, they have everything for everyone!

We greatly enjoyed our time spent at Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon. Our hotel room had a beautiful, full panoramic view to the ocean. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. Glenn showed us many peculiar Goan and traditional Indian dishes, and did his best to make us feel really special as long stayer guests of the Hotel. Mintu, who was in charge of cleaning our room, also performed outstanding services, and payed attention to the smallest details. We are really grateful for this holiday experience.

What can I say? Taj standards for equipment, cleanliness, response, food taste, view, style etc. Sounds familiar? What made the stay exceptional was staff. To name a few are Krishna, Aishwrya, Omkar from BLD restaurant, Pawan at concierge desk, Rishad, Shaurya at reception…. There are many more but unfortunately can’t remember names. All Taj staff in CdG Horizon from room service, house keeping, security to lobby are fantastic, trained well & make the difference to the stay. Thank you Taj & team !!
