Good place to stay.A bit older build style resort.Restaurant straight at the Beach.The Location is suberb. Outside the gate right direction many good , pubs restaurant with great life music. As there is a foodpath along the beach it is possible to walk, bike. Not too much people walked by in this area. A good breeze straight from the sea at the restaurant. Carefully like everywhere when raining as tiles get wet and slippy The resort has different pools and areas for small kids too. Nice garden. There was not an extensive choices from the menu but the food they made was great. Great cooks. Breakfast ist not included in the price and must be paid at the restaurant. Had the family room which contains 2 rooms with 2 single and one double. It was about 25 % more expensive than just double which I haven't seen. Good verandas with stable table and 4 chairs. Wifi was free and good..Day times never problem and if sometimes weaker it will come back within a minute to good speed. Good TV.Larger refrigarator. and in there was a bathtube which had nice hot water.( Family room ) I think this spot is perfect for families with kids at all ages but especially small kids. No noise from the road , not at all. The water is very shallow and far outer there is a riff which break the waves, which means the water is very calm. Small kids can play in the water and no worries that a wave hit them. Mainly a bit curser sand and in the water there a no corals, stone etc which can hurt the feet. I always use sailing shoes in case. Nice friendly people all around,no beach sellers, many nations, older traveller, families, mainly. The traffic is not busy whis good and it is easy to get a taxi and drive around. Paid 250 000 for taxi to the airport which took 30 minutes but we been lucky. So better calculate one hours. Immigration can be busy but much better than arrival. There many good restaurants in the departure area. 3 hrs before arrival I recommend and have some food there.

I wished a couple more powerpoints in the room and none at the Veranda.Its a bit older but not dirty at all, here and tere good need a bit maintainace but I'm fussy German born, haha.

Restaurant menu was limited but adequate. Rooms were tired and dated but spacious and comfortable.

Restaurant didn’t offer a lot of, but no real problem as you are surrounded by fab places to eat.

We are a family, 2 adults 2 kids and we got a family room, which allowed us to have a slightly different space from the kids -- there's a space for 2 single beds, and a place for a King or Queen bed -- it worked pretty well. More spacious and easy than other family rooms we tried on this trip. There's an outdoor space with a table, and a drying rack. We loved how quiet and laid back this place was -- because it's only 3 star and not that popular, there's this very chill feeling about the place, you can come and go as you please, no one hassles you, it's peaceful and quiet. It's great value for what it is... but don't expect luxury. This is a comfortable 3 star place, the rooms at older style - very comfortable but not trendy or luxurious. Comfortable beds, clean sheets and bedding. Everything was clean and there was plenty of drinkable water available in the room; there was a small fridge, it was spacious enough. Gotta say - we really enjoyed this place compared to 4.5 star places elsewhere which were often more crowded and more enclosed, less space and amenity. It's a great location in Sanur for both the main street and the water side. We rented bikes and they did not mind us keeping our bikes outside our room. There's no competition for the long chairs by the pool when there - and we were there in high season too. Easy to find a shady spot. Again -- one of the pleasurable things about being here is that it's not hectic... We liked the zero plastic waste policy (although in practice this is quite hard to comply with, but we tried).

The pools aren't that exciting but they're also totally fine. But if you're into really exciting swimming pools, then this one is not the place for you. Also worth noting - there isn't much going on in terms of a restaurant here at the hotel itself (though in theory they do make food, but people rarely eat here) -- so it's advised to eat elsewhere for all meals (this is not hard to do, there are so many options very nearby). The only thing I really struggled with was the sliding bathroom door which didn't run well on the tracks, but that's such a minor thing, honestly.

This charming, old-style hotel offers great value for its prime location right on the beach in Sanur. The rooms, though featuring older-style furniture, are kept sparkling clean and include modern amenities like air conditioning and excellent water pressure in the shower. The hotel’s gardens add to its appeal, creating a serene atmosphere. While the property may show signs of age in some areas (e.g. pools), its fantastic beachside location and the quiet, peaceful environment make it a wonderful choice.

We had one of the last bungalows.. so it was a 5-minute walk to the breakfast and beach area.

I stayed here almost 23 years ago and clearly since covid it has changed a lot ,for example minimal staff and dinner no longer available at the restaurant. However ,what was available at breakfast was fine and the coffee making young man was excellent. Also the young man Ari who cleaned our room every day was lovely too ,. Our room was actually a cottage on its own in a small courtyard- so very private-pretty much all like that ,but they do have a few villas too We liked the location ,right on the beach ,but close to shops etc and only $3 taxi ride to new shopping mall -ICON - which is a huge bonus for Sanur . We spent a lot of time at the next door warung which is like a basic hut ,but the staff / family there were lovely too and meals were excellent/no Bali belly at all - that also did laundry by the kilo $6 - ready by 5 pm the ladies with the shops can be pushy at first but once you get to know them they are helpful and friendly- Norma and Anna - they will source anything if they can within reason . The sea there is wonderful and clear ,calm no surfers here but I loved it ,sand underfoot and no rubbish .there are pools at the resort but we just preferred swimming in the sea Sanur is a preferred destination if your not looking for crazy nightlife ,but still plenty of beach or street bars with live music .great for couples or families just looking to chill

I have found sitting on our terrace or balcony a fan would be an improvement,also no soft drinks or beers or so in the fridge

I've stayed at Peneeda View a number of times. It is not for everyone but I like it. It was one of the earlier hotels that were built in the area around the mid 1970's, and this shows of course. It's a good location - the restaurant is on the beach. One thing that I really appreciated is the staff who may have been with the hotel for quite some time. They were helpful, informative and patient!

I think it's time to upgrade the beds. I also think that adding more powerpoints in convenient locations to take into account the needs of todays travellers with rechargers would be helpful.

Amazing stay. This resort is fantastically situated between two luxury hotels that serve amazing food on their beach restaurants. The room were very clean. For a family it is truly an ideal configuration as the kids were sleeping on the first floor bedroom and we were on the ground-floor one. But as you have a private mini garden (that you can lock with a private entrance) we truly felt safe to let our kids in the other room. Sanur is as well very family friendly.

We liked having our own garden area, filtered water, and beach access. Daily housekeeping was good. Having our sun fridge and cool water.

Shampoo was provided, but not conditioner. some mildew in the bathroom and wardrobe. We booked a 2 bedroom family room, but it actually was 2 separate 1 bedroom units. we had to go outside and upstairs to the kids room. the kids had to share a queen bed, instead of 2 singles.
