I recently stayed at this accommodation and had a fantastic experience. First and foremost, Sharon at reception was exceptional—by far the most accommodating, polite, friendly, and helpful staff member I've encountered in any hotel. The breakfast was excellent, and as a Coeliac, I was particularly impressed by how the breakfast staff went out of their way to accommodate my dietary needs. The room itself was spotless, cozy, and welcoming, offering a perfect retreat after a day out. The location couldn't be better—right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient for exploring. Highly recommend! Will definitely stay here again

I throughly enjoyed my stay for 2 nights at The Bedford Townhouse. Prior to my arrival, I was contacted by Sharron just to confirm arrival times, etc... then had the pleasure of meeting her personally when checking in... and she was amazing!! Nothing was too much trouble. Sharron ensured that everything was perfect upon my arrival, and during my stay. The room was extremely comfortable, luxurious, and spotlessly clean. I had a view of the 'pedestrian mall' below my window, and it was charming. There was also a lounge on the lower level ( specifically for guests of the hotel with great amenities...as well as a gym and a steam room ). Hotel entry requires 'coded card' use, as well as all of the other guest areas within the hotel, which makes you feel secure and safe. The hotel itself was a quick walk from the train station... and it is located in a wonderful 'pedestrian' area in Limerick. There were wonderful cafes, restaurants, pubs, and shops just steps from the front door of the hotel. The cafe/restaurant connected to the hotel provided an extensive breakfast menu which was definitely worth the added price when booking. The hotel was also very close to the waterfront, and many of the major 'tourist attractions' in Limerick. It was the perfect place to stay while in Limerick... and I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to experience Limerick.
Nothing at all .... it was all perfect. There isn't anything that I would change.

The room was spectacular. The decor was just beautiful. The parlour was a real little gem. Just a lovely escape from the room if needed. All the little extras like wine, chocolates. You would not get that anywhere at no extra cost. You're hostess Sharon is your biggest asset. What a wonderful employee and person. Breakfast was outstanding with a fabulous variety of food. I can't wait to come back for a return visit.
Be great to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room but to be honest the parlour makes up for it and having the take away cups is a fantastic idea.

The Bedford Townhouse didn't meed our price expectations, because they exceeded them! What a beautiful and interesting place to stay! We were in the King's Room. It was gorgeous! The beds were so comfy. The pillows were perfect! We enjoyed some time visiting with other travelers in their Parlor. Sharron at the front desk was delightful. This place was well thought out. There was a personal note to use in our room! I ordered a special breakfast, and the chef delivered! Very impressive!
The fire alarm waking us at 10pm wasn't so great. We were in bed by 9pm that night. I'm so glad it was a false alarm, but ... we did get to meet more of the guests. :D

The room was in a very quiet location which meant that I managed to get a great night's sleep. The B&B location was brilliant - right at the heart of the city centre. I also really enjoyed the breakfast - the food and drink offered really set up well for the day. Also special mention to Sharron who wrote a personal greeting card as I entered into the room and for recommending us to eat at the Locke Bar for dinner - this is an excellent place with Irish music and dancing.
The views from the rooftop garden were a little disappointing - I was expecting to see views outside of some sort but I didn't mind it that much. Be aware of the parking fee but it's great that a discount was offered at the nearest car park.

The hotel was phenomenal. Great location, quiet, comfortable, chic, well laid out and one of the better hotels I have stayed in in quite some time. The breakfast was amazing and the staff went above and beyond!! Great bed, amazing gym! The location was top notch...the river is less than a block away, all the sights are within walking distance and there are two great eateries (bistros's) next door. I would highly recommend a stay here!
Limerick is having some issues with drugs and migrants in the City centre after dark. We were threatened by two dealing drugs outside the hotel on our final night (one had a knife and one tried to hit my parter with a bottle). Not the hotel's fault, but the Guardi need to put some effort into dealing with what they admitted is becoming a serious problem.

The staff here are fantastic. I stayed last month ahead of a wedding, and Sharon at reception is absolutely lovely and a huge credit to the Bedford Townhouse. You're very lucky to have her! The room was lovely, very clean and comfortable, and in a great central spot of the city. The Parlor room downstairs was also a lovely addition for tea and coffee and is a very cozy spot. I will absolutely stay here again and would easily recommend The Bedford to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Limerick.

This is an absolute hidden gem (better not rave too much or I might not be able to get a room next time!!) The Townhouse is right in the heart of Limerick City - a great location that was very reasonably priced. There is no reception after 6pm but if you have a problem it is easy to contact someone. Don't worry if you arrive after 6pm it is very easy to access the building & your room with the instructions that are sent to you via email. There is a lovely fragrance when you enter the building and everywhere is completely spotless and so quiet. The rooms are just delightful with so much attention to detail & fabulous air conditioning. There is bottled water, lovely products in the bathroom, lovely fluffy towels and slippers & dressing gowns as well. There is no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms but there is a fab area downstairs with nice relaxing lighting and seating where you can make your own tea & coffee and also have a glass of wine and Lily O'Brien's chocolates!!! There is also a small fitness room & a steam room which was really unexpected. The rooms are really comfortable and quiet and l had a great night's sleep. I had my breakfast in the adjoining cafe the following morning & it was just delicious and the waiter was so friendly - infact all of the staff working at the Townhouse were so courteous, helpful & friendly. I would have loved to stay longer but sadly I was there for work purposes, but I will definitely seek out this little 'jewel in the crown' next time I'm in Limerick
Breakfast is only available from 08:00 so if you have an early start you might miss breakfast.

Had the best overnight stay at the Bedford-from the wonderful Sharon who greeted us, to the cosy and modern room, to the lovely “Parlour” in the basement where you can chill on couches with complimentary tea/coffee/wine/chocolates. It was so central and if you park in the QPark on Harvey’s Quay you get a voucher from the Bedford to use on your exit. The breakfast was outstanding with so much choice and is served in the café area, where the reception is. Had the best stay and would definitely stay here if visiting Limerick City again. And to top it off ,on check out, we were offered a takeaway tea/coffee for the road..other hotels should take note from the Bedford on how to treat their guests. Loved it.

Dropped my bag into reception and met a lovely receptionist called Sharon, who presented me with a map of the city and marked all the places of interest and the best places to go for lunch. Booked in at 3 pm and Sharon told me all about the hotel and the facilities, including the parlour room where free tea, coffee and a glass of wine could be procured. Lovely clean hotel, great staff, lovely breakfast. My room even had a personalised welcome card when I arrived, lovely little touch.
