A very warm welcome and given all the relevant info we needed and also referred to my allergy requirements. Our room was spotless, (as was the whole hotel)..it was well equipped etc and the bed was extremely comfy. Infact my wife and I voted it the most comfy bed we had slept in at 8 different Hotels/B&B's during our 15 day holiday in Ireland. The breakfast was very good with a wide choice of options etc. The evening menu also had a wide choice of options at very reasonable prices. Meals were well presented and the service was excellent even when they were very busy. All the staff we encountered during our stay were very pleasant and enjoyed the opportunity to stop and chat. They seemed well trained and efficient and actually gave the impression that they enjoyed their work.

Nothing really...we were woken in the early hours by some rowdy , inconsiderate guests returning to their rooms...the hotel apologised on their behalf...but it wasn't their fault.

Lovely friendly staff who provide very good service in a relaxed environment. Hotel is excellent value. Food at breakfast and dinner was plentiful, hot and tasty. Rooms are compact with good storage. Bedrooms are very fresh and clean and the bed is wonderfully comfortable. fridge is a bonus. Small accessible playground for children just outside dining area. great views across the bay.

The carpet on stairs and corridors could be refreshed and some of the bar/restaurant chairs have fabric in need of a bit of repair. The fitness suite at the back of the hotel is a great addition and it would be superb if there was a swimming pool addition at some stage. Venue is an excellent location for touring the rosses and glenties.

The room was beautiful, clean and equipped with everything you'd need. The hand wash and body wash smelt fabulous and there also was a bottle of still and sparkling water. I mentioned it was our wedding anniversary and they'd left a plate in the room with little bitesize desserts and a message saying happy anniversary, such a nice touch. We ate in the bar, the food was delicious and reasonable. Breakfast was very tasty, plentiful and hit the spot! Overall I'd recommend this hotel, we'd a lovely stay!

The walls seemed really thin in the bedrooms, I could hear people showering above me, but honestly didn't bother me!

Hotel was spotless , staff were friendly and food was delicious! Hotel located close to main street which had great pubs/restaurants. There was entertainment on Saturday 2 guys playing guitar and fiddle who sang a good range of songs and were brilliant! The hotel was very quiet but this was likely due to it being the end of the Easter holidays. All in all we had a lovely stay and would recommend for a nice quiet break.

We upgraded to a "deluxe room" which was £80 extra - we were very disappointed to find it was exactly the same size and decor as the standard room the only difference being you had a sea view. If we had known the rooms were identical we would have not paid for the upgrade as I don't think it was worth it due to the size of the room.

Beautifully situated overlooking the water, this cosy hotel was perfect for a solo staycation in the heart of Donegal. Perfectly based to explore Donegal and the staff here were wonderful and so friendly. I did get a change of room to a sea view which was so appreciated - it’s the little things :) I had a late lunch when I arrived. Fresh fish, wonderfully cooked with a sea view to die for. The bedrooms were comfy and cosy and had a kettle to make tea / coffee, bottled water and a decent hairdryer. Breakfast Chef was really helpful for all my (fussy) needs. There’s also a great gym behind the hotel that guests have access to. When the weather allows there’s outdoor seating with a lovely view of the sea! I’d definitely come back to stay here in a heart beat and only I had work to go back to, I’d have checked in for another night! Can’t wait to come back.

I loved my stay here but if I had to get really picky, there were a few areas to improve my experience; The Receptionist was friendly and helpful on check-in although I didn’t get the WiFi password details or asked to give a credit card to make charges to the room. I did find the bedroom a little cold before bed and wasn’t sure how to work the heating. Breakfast was tasty and the Chef catered to my fussy needs, although I’d like to have porridge made fresh to order (rather than pre-made), a nicer selection of more premium breads (sourdough for example) and fruit options that aren’t drowned in juices (although a lot of hotels still do this).

Everything was fine. The breakfast was very nice. We chose the 'mini' breakfast off the menu, which was more than enough for us and very tasty. The rooms are fine, and comfortable. We only stayed one night, and it was totally adequate for us. The staff were all extremely pleasant, particularly the lady on reception, and the lady who served me my first pint of Guinness in Dungloe, and also served us breakfast. We were also able to check in to our room early, which was very convenient for us. Great views over Dungloe and the bay from the front of the hotel.

The shower pressure wasn't very powerful.

The staff were 100%, receptionist, chefs, and bar staff were all good craic... knowledgeable about the local area like where was best place to sea swim, where was good for a session and they knew cocktails and food! food and drink was unreal, a hungover breakfast looking out over the sea was brilliant. plenty of parking with a descent wee smoking area. Very close to the town which has a couple of nice pubs close by. Hopefully be back in the not too distant future.

no swimming pool, sauna or steam joint. To be fair, I went on word of mouth... should of done my own research,

The hotel is located in a beautiful place overlooking the lough. The staff were very friendly and hard working. The views from the bedroom and bar were spectacular.

Bathroom didn't have a working extractor fan. The dinner wasn't great. The butter used to cook the fish didn't taste good and it was used to make the fruit crumble too. Food was expensive.

Nice restaurant and bar area with lovely views over the bay. Reasonable choice on the menu for evening meals. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good communication from the hotel before arrival eg checking we were still coming and whether we wanted to book an evening meal.

The room had an adjoining door to the room next door which was not very soundproof - we could hear a lot from our neighbours. The room wasn't very spacious, limited space to move around and the suitcase holder was too small for our suitcase. The plug in the washbasin was very stiff. No fridge in the room.

The staff were lovely, the people you meet first on entering any hotel will make the biggest impression on you and their ability to make you feel welcome is always appreciated. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast was delicious, the quality of the produce was top rate. The chef was a lovely friendly man, it's nice when the staff take a minute or two just for a quick chat, would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay in the future. The views from the breakfast room were lovely overlooking the sea.
