The room was very spacious and the hotel was very clean, the bar was a lovely layout with a lovely outside area, the breakfast one morning was nice and self service, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We didnt sleep very well unfortunately and we also had very noisy neighbours wit a screaming toddler, we have a child ourselves so we are not unreasonable, we understand this is out of your hands however more singing the next morning at the top of their lungs at 9am, apart from this we thoroughly enjoyed our stay but feel we paid for a stay with no sleep, we asked for a quiet room and the room we got was above the outside area of the bar and right beside the lifts so we heard everyone coming and going unfortunately.

We stayed as we had doctors appointment at the local surgery, it would not be our first choice as it is a taxi ride to anywhere else, restaurants, town centre etc however the room was lovely, we had dinner in the bar which was very good and the reception staff are always friendly

Unfortunately a trend in Dundalk and almost everywhere vastly overpriced drinks at the bar, bar staff friendly but need training. We dont get much time off very often during the week and fancied a drink the next day at lunch, the gas was gone in the pumps, not their fault, but we were left sitting for some time and having to go up and enquire. When I went up and said bottles would do I was handed two filthy glasses and I had to point them out, I said twice just a little ice thanks, received two pint glasses full of ice as the lady was distracted as she was speaking with her colleague while serving, just little things but they make an impression

Everything was fantastic. The staff, the location, food, comfort, spacious room. The only problem I would say, and this is really not a big problem, was there was no air conditioning in my room. The room was very hot, which was good as it was cold outside, but I had to open the window and sleep with it open. The road noise was a little load as I was on the side of the hotel nearest the main road. Also the Wi-Fi cut out from time to time, not a major issue as it would come back after 5 min or so. Overall, a great hotel and I will certainly visit again.

Staff really friendly and helpful. Hotel is very clean and well maintained. Bed was nice and comfortable. Our roomswas really quiet located on the ground floor.

I had breakfast delivered to my room. The fry wasn't great, bit overcooked. I ordered granola but it wasn't on the tray. I ordered soda bread but got toast instead, two of which were white bread which I don't eat. The rest of the breakfast was fine. Weird double flush on the toilet which at first made me think it was broken, but confirmed same in another room friends were staying in. Light is very bright in the bathroom and very low in the main part of the bedroom.

Rooms were spacious, smelled really nice, airy and clean. Bed was really comfortable. Nespresso coffee machine in the room was a nice touch. Bar staff in the evening were great especially Oran and Craig. Breakfast the following morning was self serve but really tasty.

I paid prior to arrival even though the hotel takes payment on arrival. This caused a bit of confusion and delayed our check in. This was not the hotel's fault but booking.com. Just something to be aware of when checking in if you've paid prior to arrival. Ensure that you have the email from booking.com confirming payment. The music in the bar was....not very good to put it politely. However it did not stop us from having a good night. Would have been better without it though

The staff were friendly, cheerful and extremely helpful. The hotel was spotlessly clean and my bedroom was comfortable and warm. As a wedding guest, I found the celebration spaces, the choices and quality of food on offer were superb. Everyone in my group thoroughly enjoyed their stay.

The wording of what was on offer was slightly ambiguous. I misread "regular double and single guest bedroom" as a double bedroom with a guest annex. I found what I believe is normally known as a "family bedroom" containing 1 double and 1 single bed.

Good location - close to the nice village of Blackrock and theres a huge Supervalu next door. Staff were friendly. Nice areas outside to sit and have a drink. Didn't actually sample any food from the hotel when we were there to comment.

When checking-in our key cards wouldn't work, so i went back down to reception to try and sort. I went back up to the room, opened the door and there was someone already in our room! They had given us the wrong room. Had to go back to reception to sort and skip the queue of people waiting to check-in. Wasnt a massive deal just a bit annoying. The staff member sorted it quickly and was friendly so all was good

I booked the room for my daughter's 30th birthday with her friend. They loved the food and new menu, also that there is always something for gluten free customers. Great value for money 2 course for 25 euro. They tried a cocktail and it was excellent. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty and a great choice.

I left balloons with 30 on them at reception on the morning of check in to be put on the table in the evening. She saw the balloons when she checked in, so maybe next time hide them away. Also they never got to the table and her friend text me to tell me. I had to phone in and ask them to be taken down to the table half way during the meal. The girls said no air con in the bedroom and no fan in the bathroom if you had a shower. Also slight odour in the bathroom. Breakfast was served up to 9:45, they went down at 9:30 and said that all breakfast was being cleared away at 10, maybe should be cleared at 10:30

Chowder was amazing, well done to the chef. Very professional staff in each department from reception to chef serving breakfast. Room was very clean. Excellent coffee/tea making station in the room. Very nice mattress, making feel like sleeping on a fluffy cloud. Great attention to detail everywhere. Breakfast selection was superb, including gluten free corner. Was lucky enough there was live music during my dinner. Overall amazing experience.

There isn't one thing i didn't like about it

Loved that they accommodated me to the the fullest by letting me have late check out the next day as I was getting ready for my wedding. Stunning room for pics and easy for the glam to get to the roo., no hassle.

There was no cutlery or bowls or glasses etc in the large kitchen, we got some from the restaurant downstairs but felt there should be some in the room. Thanks a mill
