We stayed in Greencastle B&B the second time, and definitely, we will be back. Jackie, the host, is amazing, caring, friendly, and respecting her guests' privacy lady. She also has good knowledge of attraction and places worth seeing around. We very highly recommend booking your stay with breakfast included. Jackie's breakfast is top class. She also bakes her own wheaten bread, which is delicious. My partner and I fell in love with the place, and close by beaches, the peace and local nature.

A beautiful environment next to the Lough. The room I stayed in is very comfortable with a delightful view. I enjoyed the complementary beverages, and was pleasantly surprised, especially given my dietary demands, to be given a fresh, beautifully prepared breakfast - complemented by excellent coffee. The owner is exceptionally helpful, with superb local insights and knowledge. This was a quiet, comfortable and entirely relaxing stay. Perfect.

Greencastle BnB is a lovely old house in an idyllic location across the road from the beach. Jackie the owner is a gem, really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was everything you could ask for, delicious! Very comfortable beds, peaceful, and great facilities. Having the heating on in the evenings is a nice touch for slightly chilly Irish summer nights.

A large and comfortable room with a great view in a lovely quiet location(take binoculars to watch the seals/birds), close to the Carlingford ferry terminal making it ideal for anybody on a touring holiday. The breakfast was fab with plenty of choice and we loved the homemade bread. Jackie is a great host, nothing was too much trouble.

The only downside for some would be the separate bathroom but it wasn't an issue for us also nowhere in walking distance to eat.

Beautiful area in a lovely, comfortable home. Our host was wonderful, friendly and open. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. We had a view of the sea. Everything was clean, breakfast was delicious and Jackie’s homemade bread was the star. I look forward to returning one day.

Lovely place situated right on the lough. Our room was on the ground floor with bedroom, bathroom and kitchen, so ample space for all our belongings. Very friendly and helpful hostess (Jackie) who also provided us with an excellent breakfast. Would thoroughly recommend this B & B to other travellers.

Based at the southern most tip of N.I., Greencastle had views across Carlingford Lough to Ireland. The room and facilities were very comfortable and there was all you could eat for breakfast with our lovely host on hand to chat. Parking was to the rear of the property, out of sight.

A room with a sea view would have been the 'icing on the cake'.

Absolute gem of a B&B - a real discovery for us. A beautiful historic house in a stunning setting - right beside the beach and beautiful views across the lough. Very close to the Greencastle car ferry. There are some very good places to eat within about 10 -20 minutes drive. Jackie was a really lovely welcoming host. At the same time we felt we had total privacy as our room had its own entrance - even included its own little kitchenette. It was so peaceful - we had a great nights sleep. We were able to order from a menu for our breakfast the next day which was delicious and copious. Jackie gave us some great tips on what to visit in the area. Her suggested itinerary worked out great. We visited the Silent Valley for a beautiful walk followed by lunch in a cafe she recommended which was just fabulous. Then we got the ferry across to Carlingford for some sightseeing followed by dinner. Can't recommend enough.

Perfect location right on the water. My room was lovely and spacious and very clean. The breakfast was fantastic. Jackie was a fabulous host and so welcoming. She really went the extra mile and I appreciated it. I would definitely come back again.
