It was clean, comfortable and good sized room- we booked as it was pay later. What we expected from a Travel lodge and was ideal for somewhere to sleep as we knew we would be out all day.

It was a 20minute walk to the centre we could have got something cheaper or the same price in the centre but there is a bus stop outside and taxi was under 10euros. It says shampoo and Shower gel provided - this is from the one despensor on the wall so didnt bring any of my own as i thought this would have been provided but made do with what was there.

All the staff we interacted with was amazing. The room was clean and quiet, beds were comfortable, we felt safe. Considering how full the parking lot was, it was a very quiet hotel. The breakfast was delicious--full Irish breakfast options along with breads, cereals, yogurts, fruits, juices--something for every taste. The main part of town was within walking distance, which was nice to not have to worry about parking. There was also a grocery/shopping center nearby, with a very nice Tesco.

There is on-site parking, but we returned late one night after exploring and had to squeeze into the very last awkward parking spot at the end. Maybe plan better than we did! The hallways are a bit maze-like but very navigable.

We loved the spacious, very clean room, and easy and free parking. It’s probably been one of the best bathrooms we’ve enjoyed on our five week travels. The room also had a Nespresso machine which was lovely and unexpected!

Whist the bus stop is an easy 5 minute stroll to take you into town, the hotel is not in the ‘heart’ of the action. We obviously knew this and we were fine, but just highlighting here in case others want to be closer. For us, the convenience of parking was more important. We didn’t eat in the restaurant/bar but so can’t comment but if you’re not heading into town, it’s your only eating option we could see in the area. The menu was nice enough.

Staff Lovely. Very clean everywhere but a bit dated.

Breakfast good, but the kitchen needs more awareness about decent gluten free toast. The young lady serving had to ring down twice asking. When the gluten free toast arrived it wasn't really toasted, she was embarrassed. I'd waited a while and we needed to go so didn't send it back to get fresh. Would be nice to have some gluten free cereal / wrapped pastries for people with coeliac disease. The young staff were lovely. Coffee lovely at breakfast. 12 noon checkout good.

We were there 4 nights and for 3 of them I was in a room that had a bathtub which I really enjoyed using. We had to be moved the 4th night because of construction and I was disappointed about losing the tub but once we saw the new room I was really happy. It was bigger and more modern. Love that it's pets friendly and our dog also enjoyed his stay. We were also given free breakfast because of having to move rooms so the staff is really great at keeping guests happy.

We liked everything about the hotel.. Great location, great clean rooms, excellent shower system, good Irish breakfast, pleasant & very helpful staffs, specially a staff called Modo.. If not for him we would have missed our return train.. So special thanks to Modo & the Manager 😊🙏🏼 Travelodge plus is a great place to stay & I would highly recommend this hotel if you are planning to visit Galway.They are also pet friendly.

There is nothing that we didn't like.. But it will be great if they also had included a mini fridge in the rooms & also a few extra cloth hanging hooks in the back of the bathroom door, which will be more convenient.

Amy was excellent. Staff very friendly and worked hard. Too far from centre, bad location, couldn't cross any roads without putting your life at risk!! Not your fault obviously. Food excellent at hotel, we enjoyed many meals !! Yum yum Rooms were large and excellently maintained. TV worked well with good reception. Mattress alittle uncomfortable.

No air con. Mattress needed replacing, uncomfortable. Price too high for basic facilities. No drawers for clothing No small cup for coffee machine. No water offered in room even if we had to pay for it. Lots better than dragging it back to our room in a heatwave. Where were the biscuits?? ThT you get in England !!

The room was nice, spacious and quiet. It was quite clean but not perfect clean as I saw few hairs on the bath and one on the bed. The bed was comfortable. I requested a bathroom with a bath and I got it which was very nice.The location is within walking distance from the city center, about 20 min. It's pet friendly which is very important for me. Breakfast was good, many options to chose from.

Two gents in reception and young lady at bar/ breakfast were all exceptional.Couldnt have asked for more.........

Couldnt get showers to work so told reception.Manager kindly came to room to fix problem.I was promised a free breakfast voucher on next visit,as we paid for 2 x €11 breakfast,but one of our group was ill so couldnt even drink water.Pleaae can you e mail me voucher i sayong 1 x Free Breakfast bext visit as..Thank You.A pleasure to stay at Travel Lodge Plus as always.Will be back in Aug/September 😊

The room was clean and spacious. Was on the ground floor which was good access for kids and buggies etc

I asked for a cot in the room, it wasnt there when we arrived so i asked at reception. 30 minutes later we still didnt have it so had to ask a 3rd time. And when it arrived, it was a very small foldable travel cot, smaller than a standard size cot or a standard size play pen. Our baby slept in it but if it was for an older baby there would not be any room for them to move around or turn in it.
