Room was very bright and breezy - facing a lot of greenery. Very quiet and great for reading. The location of the lodge is pretty good - 5 minutes to the square and a 3 minute walk to the coach terminal. Shower works great - amazing pressure and hot water runs through all the time.
They need a proper shampoo in the bathroom - they have a body wash and shampoo in one which is a little outdated. Breakfast isn’t very good, the eggs are watery, it’s a small room and very crowded and the owners operate it. As people are finishing they are cleaning up and you just feel like you’re rushed and it isn’t a very peaceful experience as I believe breakfasts should be. The TV in the room is very small - definitely need to update that! If you don’t wake up and leave the room early for housekeeping to do their job - it can’t be done in the afternoon. I slept in one day and this happened.

perfect location easy walk into town but easy for driving to, free parking was a huge bonus and the staff were actually the best! we also got a mad 5 person room for the two of us! amazing! breakfast service was also great constantly checking in going out of their way to assist in any way - I even heard them trying to offer their help in other languages to their guests which just shows the extra mile they will go!

This is a sweet, very comfortable spot. The hosts are brothers so the place has a real family feel! They were great hosts and we loved our stay there. Very convenient for walking around the area which is filled with great little shops and fun dining! Also, be sure to read the list of current events that are at the front desk. We took the music recommendations and found the bars for incredible local musicians! Soooo fun!!
The room was a little noisy since it was facing the street. We are all from a US city so it felt more like home than we wanted! Lol!

During our recent visit to Galway, we had a very short stay at St. Judes Lodge B&B. Arriving at Galway train station late on a Friday night, we were in a rush to catch an early morning bus departing for the Cliffs of Moher. The staff was incredibly friendly. The highlight of our stay was the exceptional shower facilities. The water pressure was just right, and the temperature was easily adjustable, allowing us to refresh ourselves before our early morning adventure. In fact, I cannot emphasize enough just how remarkable the shower facilities are at this B&B than any other luxury hotels. Given our limited time, we did not have the opportunity to fully explore the other amenities and services and we had to forgo the complimentary offering (coffee and tea).

Room was clean and tidy Breakfast was good Parking great
We were placed in annex house two doors down main road rather than in main guest house - not made aware of this until arrival room was quite small with a double and single bed in place and very compact bathroom - we did feel a little claustrophobic however all in excellent condition and spotless The pictures on the booking.com pages only seem to show the large rooms in main building and do not mention any annex so did not live up to expectations We had to walk down the busy main road to main house for breakfast - luckily not raining...

Nice quiet location which was just a quick walk to town. Short walk from the train station and even shorter walk to the pick up spot for our Cliffs tour and bus station for our departure. Left windows open a little and that kept the room nice and cool for sleeping. Small room but plenty of space for two adults and a teenager. Super quick laundry service was very welcome. Breakfast looked great but we were always in a hurry to get out the door so couldn’t take time to try it.
Shower curtain didn’t keep the water from getting the floor quite wet.

The hosts (twin brothers) were very friendly and helpful. Our room had a great view over the bay. The hosts arranged a fantastic tour by bus with a knowledgeable driver who was very entertaining. Great location - easy walking distance into central Galway.

The B&B is in such a great location. It’s easy to walk to restaurants/pubs/shops and even the coach station! We also thought our room was comfortable and loved the option to have breakfast in the morning! The staff members were all super friendly and welcoming, and though they were running around busily preparing food/coffee/tea for everyone to make sure all needs were met, they still found time to genuinely ask how we all were and wish us good morning cheerfully. It was our favorite place that we stayed on our entire trip!

I found it very welcoming and It is in a great location and within walking distance to the city centre. Approx 7 /10 min, There is also an excellent taxi service. I couldn't fault it in any way, 2 twin brothers own this B&B and 2 other B&B's within a few minutes to this one. They are very hands on and make you feel like part of the family. The breakfast was excellent and you could eat as much as you wanted. The room was excellent in every way and the shower is a power shower..Overall I would give this B&B 10 out of 10. If and when visiting Galway again I will definitely use it again.
I couldn't fault this B&B in any way. I would give it 10 out of 10..

This place is very well run, clean, and in a fantastic location. It’s quiet and pretty but less than a 10 minute walk to the main square and Latin Quarter. The brothers who run the B&B are super friendly and helpful, they can sort out any issues with transportation and day trips. The breakfast is reasonably priced and decent. Shower is excellent! It was a little expensive but worth it. We were there in the busiest season with the arts festival.
Our bed was a little hard but fine. The bathroom wasn’t stocked with shampoo, conditioner or lotion - just soap dispensers (maybe the one in the shower was also shampoo?), so bring your own. I always do anyway.
